Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX my husband transferred money to my Venmo account because his instant transfer wasnt working. I tried withdrawing the money and it wouldnt allow me. I sent it to my son as well because I thought maybe it was just my computer. Then the money was transferred back to me. I tried to do the longer bank transfer and they informed me my account was frozen. There is {$1500.00} that they wont allow me to access. I contacted them through multiple ways explaining this is urgent because the money is needed to pay for medical expenses. No one seemed to care and said the money may be held for $ 180 days. I was told I would be contacted after I submitted my id. I did that and no one will respond to me. I have a family of XXXX and {$1500.00} is an entire paycheck. I have read endless accounts of this company holding money or never giving it back at all.

Consumer Complaint: Hello- On XX/XX/2021 I received an email from Paypal saying that my account had been restricted. They did not provide a reason. I was informed that my account would be restricted and that, essentially, funds in my account will be held for 180 days. I tried to contact Paypal to get some answers, and to see if anything could be done and was unable to reach a party on multiple phone calls, or via email. I also tried the chat function through their online services menu, and never received a response. After I could not reach a Paypal rep, I had reached out to friends who had recently sent me money through Paypal to see if they could request their money back. I can see their requests, but Paypal is not allowing me to even issue their money back to them, so it is locked in the account with no way to remove or withdraw. I also can not even close the account. I would like to access/withdraw my balance in this account and close the account. Thank you in advance for your help! XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I received a limitation on my account early last year then i was notified in XXXX of XXXX that my funds would be released after being held for 180 days. When i contacted them after the 180 days they then again told me i had to wait an entire 180 days again. Yet here i have waited and contacted them today XX/XX/XXXX my funds have been held for over a year and they will not release them to me. Please help me i need this money for my family and i have waited and called the service department over 15 times and no one has any answers for me. The amount is {$8100.00} i would really appreciate it if you can get my funds to me as soon as possible thank you.
