Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I initiated a payment through Venmo to XXXX XXXX, totaling {$58.00}, for the purchase of a pair of sneakers from a XXXX company with positive online reviews. Despite the promising reviews, I never received the ordered goods. On XX/XX/2023, I engaged in a conversation with a Venmo representative, requesting assistance in opening a dispute. Prior attempts to contact the company through their online form had yielded no response, neither in terms of communication nor the delivery of the purchased items. Subsequently, a Venmo representative reached out to me via email on XX/XX/2023, seeking additional details. They asked for evidence of my communication with the company. However, since the company only accepts communication through an online form and I received no response, I couldn't provide the requested information. Consequently, the dispute was denied, as stated in their recent email.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I made a purchase on XXXX for some curtains on my paypal XXXX and received an item that was not as described. I opened a paypal dispute with photos and paypal admitted it was not the item I ordered. The said a refund was due, but I would need to ship it back. The return address was provided in XXXX. I received multiple shipping quotes that came in around {$500.00} to ship the item back. The item originally cost {$250.00}. I fought the dispute on paypal, but ultimately lost. I opened a previous CFPB complaint and paypal responded. They lied and intentionally left out information in their response to the CFPB. I opened an investigation with the credit card servicer XXXX and after some time they concluded there was definitely fraud that happened on the card and refunded my money immediately. I've been attempting to close my paypal account for the last 4-6 weeks and paypal continues to make up stories and excuses why they can't close it. They locked me out of my account and I can not sign in any longer and told me it was closed, but calling in today I found out the account is still active and mine is one of many that " that can't see to figure out how to close ''. I read this over a recorded line to XXXX on XXXX
