Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/22, I tried closing my account that's associated with the email XXXX multiple times! I couldn't because it was limited ( no reason was given ). I even uploaded my driver 's license ; instead of further verification, the account permanently limited -- -there was no mismatch, for the record! I want my account closed -- -that 's all I wanted! They have no right to keep my data in their system! " Once an account is limited there is nothing we can do. '' What a disgusting company!

Consumer Complaint: in my Paypal credit i have a Case opened with them XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX for a purchase from XXXX where the seller has send me a XXXX phone which wasn't authentic and that's why i opened the case with paypal - resolutions center and based on the email received from paypal they asked me to send the product back to the seller which i very much did. Now that product shows very much delivered back to the seller via XXXX but now paypal says that they are denying my claim only because i di n't selected a XXXX which took the signature of the person as this was more then a XXXX $ product value. common still it's not the thing that i haven't selected that sort of XXXX i am penalized and ask to pay the amount despite of sending the faulty product back to the seller. it is very much evident from the USPS tracking that the seller has very much got the product back and i am not liable to pay any sort of money for this at all. Which i am very much not doing so even paypal or XXXX are not able to resolve this. I am going to file a lawsuit against them or they can send me " IN WRITING '' confirming that their seller has not got this back and then i can even go ahead and initate a police complaint and ask a XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX inspector to step in and investigate the matter of fact that their seller is lying ok. I am very much positive and confident because that seller has even listed that phone send back on his XXXX listing page which i very much saw as well. So this is going to be a very tough claim for giants like paypal and XXXX to fight for if i am initiating this as a legal way to sort then. One last time i am trying to approach them via this Consumer complaint to see if this can be sorted " out of court '' then.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX i attempted to purchase a XXXX off of the XXXX website I sell online on this platform and people sell items and I tried to purchase a phone for {$500.00}. When I went to purchase I was offered to purchase with paypal in XXXX. I sell on this platform and had just saved all my money from selling I had transfered and direct deposited into my paypal balance from items sold. Immediately everything went wrong. And my order processed through paypal so I thought I purchased rhe phone and ordered it. And noticed it was sold to another buyer and not to me.so I checked my bank account with paypal and I was shocked. They charged me 4 times for XXXX a total of around XXXX. I immediately called paypal and was freaking out. It was supposed to be pay in XXXX. So the total divided into XXXX would be my first initial payment and I set the rest to be charged onto my XXXX XXXX debit card account.which no money ever got withdrawn automatically out of this account I set uo the other payments to be bc the require u to link your bank to be approved for the payment plan. But since this sale didn't go through because the buyer sold to another buyer I find out later on that it was not even sold to me mercari emailed me a letter informing of the refund to original payment which my original payment with initial first amount was supposed to be from my paypal account but then processed I checked ny paypal balance and it charged me everytime and deducted out of my total balance. I attempted to setup this pay in XXXX because the phone I wanted to purchase wasn't going through and wasn't showing up as sold to me on my XXXX app.after I tried XXXX seperate times I noticed it was sold to another buyer. Not me. So I called PayPal and told them what happened. And they assured me that my money would be released back into my account XXXX to 10 days which I was upset about. But after 20 days passed no money was released into my account. And then on XX/XX/XXXX another XXXX was charged another 2 times on top pf the other XXXX for an item I never received and was never refunded the amount mercari emailed me that they had refunded all my money back to my original form of payment which I had arranged through PayPal pay in XXXX to take first payment out of my paypal balance and the next XXXX from my linked bank account. But since the sale was attempted 4 times it was taking the XXXX payment out of the PayPal balance I set up each time to be taken from but since sale not processed the payments we r never taken out of my bank weeks later but never released my refunded funds from this disaster I attempted to purchase the phone I never ended uo recieveijg and am out of a total of XXXX and hours and hours andhours days and days arguing with PayPal blaming ny bank to have me go to them for my money which was not ever involved at all. My paypal balance is the only amount effected and never refunded and is short exactly XXXX and they refuse to give me ny money back after I never even received this phone and deny ever taking any of my money out then denied that it was even ever there and have changed up their story so many different times every time I call its something else and something different never same thing and totally robbed me of nybmoney b I'm not going to let it go its too much I can not afford to lose

Consumer Complaint: I have attempted to contact PayPal for years. Yet they only respond on email claiming they have called yet has never called. I had a seller account on XXXX which is operating payments through PayPal. On XX/XX/XXXX the buyer in the document included purchased an XXXX XXXX from me. Item was shipped and received perfectly fine. Even though purchase had a no refund and no return policy. The buyer waited 3 weeks to them advise phone screen is freezing. Beyond his knowledge the phone is brand new, being that I had lost mine prior to my contract ending and had to be sent a new one. Paypal ruled the case in the buyers favor and approved him to return the device. Which I have still not received my phone back. The customer stole my phone and sent me back a phone screen glass. In dispute I immediately contacted paypal and advised of the issue. Then they advised I had till a certain date to get police report. Even though the date hadnt passed paypal went against what was advised an closed case early and refunded client even though I have included pictures of what was returned to me. I would like to proceed with all necessary to be refunded for my phone as well as compensation for this inconvenience, stress and all the incorrect info being reported to the credit bureaus. Not only they did not protect me as a seller. They also helped a person steal from me. I will Include all the documents PayPal also received for this matter

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, Paypal sent me an email notifying me of a questionable money request with a XXXX phone number to call. I logged onto my Paypal account and the identical message and XXXX phone number was there. Since it was on my Paypal account, I called the number and was connected to the supposed Paypal Fraud department. The " Paypal Fraud '' agent told me hackers were attempting to access my BofA bank account and he needed to secure the connection between Paypal and my bank account. He instructed me to move money via XXXX to a virtual account, he would secure the Paypal-Bank connections , then the money would be moved back. I made two XXXX transfers totaling $ XXXX when my family overheard me, they urged me to stop. It was a scam. I immediately filed a claim with the XXXX Fraud department. I cancelled the questionable Paypal money request, and severed the connection from Paypal to my Bank, and then closed my Paypal account. I sent the original questionable email to XXXX and filed an ic3.gov report on XX/XX/2022. The Bank ( XXXX ) denied my claim as they could not recover the funds from the receiving Bank XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ). The bank suggested I contact the " receiver '' and request my money back. The phone numbers provided to me on XX/XX/2022 by the " Paypal Fraud ' agent, now known to be a scammer, are no longer in service. Paypal refuses to take responsibility even though the information was imbedded into my Paypal account- saying the money transfers were outside the Paypal platform. I have not heard anything from ic3.gov to date. I have written an email to a local investigative reporter to possibly alert others of this scam. I would appreciate anything your agency can do to help me recover my {$1900.00}. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: I tried to open a paypal savings account and it asked me to submit documentation identifying and verifying myself. I submitted that documentation unaware that it was expired because I had not received my new id at the time. When I was informed that the id I had submitted was expired, I tried to rectify the situation by redoing the application over but department at paypal savings told me that was not possible and now because of that mistake, the system tells me I am ineligible for pay pal savings because they couldn't confirm my identity. I want this issue to be resolved because this is a form of discrimination, and because of one innocent mistake I'm being kept from a banking product.
