Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23, a {$220.00} purchase was made online from XXXX through my PayPal account using my XXXX credit card. I returned this purchase within the refund terms and conditions of XXXX and was provided a refund on XXXX Credit Card for {$220.00} ( the full amount ) in two separate refund transactions : {$25.00} and {$190.00}. On XX/XX/23, I received an email from PayPal indicating that {$220.00} was being debited from my PayPal account " Because you received duplicate refunds for the same transaction, we have debited {$220.00} USD from your PayPal account. '' As noted above, I only received one refund for {$220.00}. On a side note, I wasn't even aware a Dispute was logged with PayPal, let alone that anything was being investigated. PayPal 's Dispute ID : XXXX XXXX XXXX contacting/calling PayPal on XX/XX/23 at XXXX, was left on hold for almost an hour, and was ultimately unable to resolve the issue. Essentially what PayPal is arguing is 1 ) I bought the item, 2 ) I returned the item, 3 ) I received one refund, 4 ) now I'm being charged for the item that was returned and I received one refund for. Make sense? This issue reeks of fraudulent business practices on the part of PayPal. I will say this, I see no reason to use PayPal in the future for any transactions.

I called the company and indicated that the cards used for purchases are prepaid visa gift cards. I also indicated that I am okay with the account being closed just please allow me to transfer the money to my bank account. They declined. I called back on several different occasions none of which I received any insight as to why the account was closed.

The next day, I called staff and was told they could not resolve the issue. Additionally, I was told : - They could not explain why the suspension occurred - It would take at minimum 5-7 business days to perform a review- I could not speak to the team in charge of account reviews ( they only operate via email ) - To look for an email to correct the issue ( as of XXXX at XXXX XXXX est, I have not received this email either ) - When I asked to speak with escalated care, the company put me on hold with no updates on the wait time. Consumer Complaint: I was scammed out of {$500.00} by XXXX scam artists whom I thought were loan originators for a mortgage I was trying to get. They insisted I pay them a {$500.00} origination fee through PayPal so I did. I immediately knew I had just been ripped off so I contacted PayPal asking them to step in and help me. At first I was told there was nothing they could do. Then like a day later or so XXXX at PayPal told me that I was covered by PayPal 100 % fraud protection but it could take up to 10 days to get it back. I waited until I noticed the chat that XXXX said she was keeping open for us to communicate was closed. I contacted them again asking what was happening and some other agent is saying that the case has been closed and denied. They didn't even notify me at all! Now im currently arguing with someone that has no clue at all what this situation is but apparently thinks they know everything about everything and is telling me that my money is gone and these XXXX scammers are allowed to continue to do this to as many innocent victims as they want using PayPal payment platform without consequences! This cant be allowed! My money should be refunded to me immediately and the scammers should be investigated and stopped asap! PayPal is complicit in this fraudulent activity and they need to be stopped now!

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sent me {$4000.00} on PayPal after sending PayPal limited my account and ask for verification so I uploaded it and before it was even submitted they permanently limited my account said the money held would be held 180 days then I would receive a email letting me know about withdrawing my funds. XXXX XXXX later then disputed the payment I submitted my proof to PayPal who then ruled the dispute in my favor. So the money was still in my account and was held for 180 days I received an email from PayPal on XX/XX/XXXX that my funds would be available for withdrawal on XX/XX/XXXX so after XX/XX/XXXX I contacted PayPal several times almost daily all they would tell me was no information was available they didnt know when I could get my funds so I filed a complaint with consumer finance after filing one with the XXXX and they told them theyd get in touch with me to handle the situation but nothing was ever done. The money still in my PayPal almost a month later I filed my first complaint with consumer finance it still stayed in my account until almost a week later when PayPal reviewed the complaint that I made to consumer finance and when they reviewed the complaint they immediately took the money out of my account stating that the money had been charged back by XXXX XXXX bank but when I contacted XXXX XXXX no charge back had been filed by him or his bank. Now they are telling me PayPal revoked the money because they wanted to and have that right. I only want my money
