Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I called Navient questioning my balance. At this encounter I was told that I had been in bankruptcy for 10 years ( XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX ) and had additional interest of {$10.00}, XXXX added to my account which per the Navient representative my total owed was {$26.00}, XXXX. I was only in bankruptcy from XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX and provided the documentation to prove this. After investigation by Navient I was told that I was in bankruptcy for 10 years and the additional interest would remain. I continued to make my regular monthly payments. When I received my monthly payment reminder for the XX/XX/XXXX payment it stated my payment was {$380.00} so I went onto my online account to investigate. Here it showed my payment was {$190.00}. Even more shocking to me was that my account balance was now {$27.00}, XXXX. Which is more than it was in XXXX of XXXX. I did reach out to Navient XX/XX/XXXX to address these concerns. At this point I was told that when the account transferred from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to Navient ( Sallie Mae at time of transfer ) in XXXX following bankruptcy that the capitalized interest was changed to accrued interest which is where the {$10.00}, XXXX interest came from. I would like this investigated further as this is not what Navient stated back in XXXX of XXXX. Furthermore, Navient 's investigation into the questionable bankruptcy supported that I was in bankruptcy for 10 years even though I provided all of the legal documentation that disproved this. With that the additional {$10.00}, XXXX interest was left on my account. Navient also did not address the fact that my balance with additional balance was {$26.00}, XXXX in XXXX of XXXX and now my balance is {$27.00}, XXXX. I am questioning fraudulent activities on my account by Navient and want it addressed so that my total owed is accurate based on the total owed I was given in XXXX of XXXX when speaking to the Navient representative.

Consumer Complaint: I have a loan with NAVIENT. I have always made my payments on time. For some reason, I realized that there was a late payment on my credit report. As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record with this company. I tried contacting XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX and NAVIENT with no successful resolution. XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX are reporting me late. There was definitely an error on their part. I was never late from XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I have been contacting the three major credit bureaus in order to fix errors on my credit reports. Navient has been stopping any forward progress by reporting late payments to them. However, this is bad practice as I've never had to make any payments yet. My Navient accounts have been deferred for the entire length of the loan. As of now they have refused to fix this mistake. In addition to that, they have been making small tweaks to the reports but avoiding fixing the error. This is a sign of wrongdoing as there shouldnt be a different change each month if the information was accurate. All 3 bureaus are reporting different information which is a clear CFPB violation.

Consumer Complaint: Navient Credit Bureau Management XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX PA XXXX To Whom It May Concern : This letter is written to request the removal of your companys report of late payment of student loans to the credit reporting companies. Background : In the year XXXX Navient reported 24 late payments : 8 in XX/XX/XXXX, 60 days ; 8 in XX/XX/XXXX, 60 days and 8 in XX/XX/XXXX, 90 days. My single monthly payment was separated into the eight individual loan payments resulting in 8 late reports/per single monthly payment on my credit history. In the year XXXX Navient reported another 24 late payments : 8 in XX/XX/XXXX for 60 days, 8 in XX/XX/XXXX for 60 days and 8 in XXXX of XXXX for 90 days. I requested forbearance due to loss of employment on XX/XX/XXXX from the servicers of my federal ( XXXX XXXX ) and private student loans ( Navient ). The servicer of my federal loans processed the forbearance immediately, no fees attached however when I contacted Navient, I was told that I needed to pay a forbearance application fee up front for the application to be initiated. I disputed the application fee requirement and during this time, I fell behind in my payments. Eventually, I was able to negotiate a reduced payment agreement. Throughout this turbulent time, Navient generated numerous late payment reports to the credit bureaus. As a borrower, it is my belief that I made multiple good faith attempts to honor my payment obligations with my loan servicer, Navient. I also tried to use my forbearance/deferment benefit in a time of severe financial hardship and Navient made it difficult for me to use this benefit. The late payment reports generated by Navient have adversely affected my credit score and I have endured increased financial hardship over the last four years. I am requesting that these late payment reports be removed from my credit history. I am enclosing my XXXX and XXXX credit bureaus reports for your review.
