Consumer Complaint: Salie Mae refused to received payment for the amount of {$35.00} a month back in 2009 during the financial crisis even when I filled out the forms on line but their system did not allow me to print out and not even save by pdf the application since I showed proof of my new employment making 30 % less of my wages. Sallie Mae decided to sell my loan to Navient and I have the emails I sent to Navient but they stop to answer my questions by email and sold my loan to XXXX and this new company two years ago took my re-found check from IRS ( State and Federal ). I was making {$100.00} Payments to XXXX but about 2 months ago I was told by XXXX that my loan was back to Navient just when I was laid off due to corona virus and I am getting unemployment. Navient does not provide me with a contact person with an email address other than their web site and I got yesterday a letter from XXXX stating Navient has not received my payment. I can't pay my loan right now and I can't even pay my mortgage. I need help with Navien with a contact person with an email address because by phone the harassment NEVER stops, so I prefer email and I need help on payments until I get a job.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Information is missing that should be on the report
Consumer Complaint: Please see attached word document. This letter was sent to Navient. It shows evidence that Navient reported " On Time '' payment history for the months of XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX student loan accounts. However, Navient removed the " On Time '' status for each of these months recently and has not provided an explanation. See attached PDF document for response. Navient 's response does not acknowledge my question and is diverting to a different topic regarding " Negative '' payment history. This is in regards to reporting " No Data '' for the months listed above, not " Negative '' payment history. Perhaps their customer service person can not understand English? Obviously, this organization has 30 violations ( 5 accounts x 6 months payment history ) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, regardless of their stance, since they are modifying historical account information on an on-going basis.

Consumer Complaint: I had previously been a student at XXXX XXXX whom lied to students promising them so many opportunities in real light they lied in order to make a profit. They were sued by the federal government based on overcharges on federal student loans. They committed fraud against students but yet because of their actions and the fact I believed them I am forced to pay back these loans. I am demanding that my loans be forgiven! I am angry and refuse to pay for these loans based on this fraudulent school.

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: Began making payments with loan servicer Navient in XX/XX/XXXX, the original loan was for {$16000.00}. The capitalized interest was {$4800.00}. The total loan with capitalized interest added in was {$21000.00} when repayments were initiated on XX/XX/XXXX. The interest percentage rate is 4.875 %. Since XX/XX/XXXX, payments of {$160.00} have been made every month. Life of loan payments paid to Navient total {$7600.00} as of XX/XX/XXXX. The current total balance as of XX/XX/XXXX is {$21000.00} and the current unpaid principle is {$21000.00}. Navient is not been applying any of my payments to the total loan principle that includes the capitalized interest and the original loan of {$21000.00} for the last almost 4 years of payments, claiming that the payments have been applied to the capitalized interest separately. The capitalized interest was already added to my original loan in the beginning of servicing, therefore they are double charging me on the capitalized interest. Navient claims the capitalized interest was a separate balance from my current total balance when in fact it was already added into the total balance in XXXX. Please Help!

Issue: Communication tactics
Subissue: Frequent or repeated calls
Consumer Complaint: I receive DAILY phone calls from Navient regarding debt collection on a loan that is not mine, I did not sign for, nor have any liability regarding. In the past 24 hrs I have received 3 phone calls. Unfortunately, this is not a unique circumstance. This has been an ongoing issue. Navient 's calls currently equate to harassment, and I can not get them to stop. I have already filed this complaint in the past, and supposedly I am on the do not call list. It does not seem to be working. I personally have NO outstanding student loans. So Navient should not be contacting me regarding someone else 's debt. I have no interest or liability in the status of another 's finance issues with Navient.
