Consumer Complaint: I would like to know my private loans have been sold to a third party agency. I have been getting phone calls from XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX which I would like to know if this is a law firm, as the information that I obtained from XXXX has indicated that they are. However, after listening to the voicemail they stated that they are " customer service representatives, '' which is a clear misrepresentation. Previously Navient sent me a break down of my last student loan payments, however this information isn't clear to me. I would like to have this information sent to me with an explanation, and the exact date of the last payment. Additionally, I would like to know if this debt is time-barred.

Consumer Complaint: When I asked about repayment options while I had XXXX XXXX coming in, including deferment and forbearance -- and I was told that I was ineligible for any other options and I needed to continue to make my monthly payments -- was I, in fact, able to just restate my XXXX income and have a XXXX XXXX monthly payment this entire time? If so, I want a refund for the payments made on my loan since XXXX, totaling {$980.00}. Money is extremely tight, I need to make ends meet, and I sure could have used the other options at the time. Attached are my payments history from Navient 's website, and the calculation for the total.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, I called Navient to make a loan payment on a Federal spousal consolidation student loan and I made a formal request ( on a recorded line ) for a copy of my master promissory note. The representative put me on hold, messaged her processing team and reported to me it would be sent to me ( via email ) by XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX pm EST I called Navient to ask the status of the Master Promissory Note being sent. I was told the following : 1 ) it could not be emailed 2 ) there was no request made I told the representative I had a record of the request and that it was offered to me to be emailed OR mailed. The representative said she saw no notes at all of a request and said I would need to start the process over. I was connected to a supervisory at XXXX XXXX XXXX who told me the following 1 ) there was a note of my request having been made 2 ) the representative on XX/XX/XXXX never submitted the request 3 ) the representative from earlier today on XX/XX/XXXX was wrong and the Master Promissory Note COULD be emailed 4 ) then the supervisor came back on the line to say that the Master Promissory Note could not be found. I informed the supervisor I was filing a complaint with the CFPB because it is an abomination that consumers must call Navient REPEATEDLY and waste hours on hold to make these requests and then representatives simply ignore the requests and consumers must start from scratch. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, I am still without my Master Promissory Note

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern : I took out a signature XXXX loan for {$40000.00} from XXXX XXXX back in XX/XX/XXXX, with my father as a co-signer. By the time I was scheduled for my 1st payment in XX/XX/XXXX, my loan had already accumulated $ XXXX in capital interest. I made $ 100 monthly payments for approximately a year when I noticed an additional $ XXXX was added in capital interest. When I contacted XXXX XXXX, they stated I needed to increase my monthly payment amounts to $ XXXX to resolve this issue. In XX/XX/XXXX, my account was transferred to Navient for {$48000.00}, despite having paid over $ XXXX+towards my loan. I then continued making monthly payments of $ XXXX and have paid over $ XXXX and my current balance remains $ XXXX. During that time, I requested to have my father removed as a co-signer and was not explained the proper process, nor was I given any options to resolve my ongoing issues. Most recently, in XX/XX/XXXX, I was denied again because of some credit issue that I couldnt understand. Then finally I started hearing about settlements and loan forgiveness that were available to those that were Navient and XXXX XXXX I contacted Navient, along with various other places to see if I qualified. I kept being pushed from one company to another and then was told to wait for a postcard in the mail to tell me if I qualified. I never received the postcard, nor was it ever confirmed that I qualified for a settlement or loan forgiveness. I am looking to find someone that can provide me with guidance on finally ending this horror. I have spent over a decade making loan payments and still owe the same amount. I dont know if I qualify for any program or grant or forgiveness or if there is any solution that can possibly help me move forward. Please provide me with any help that is accessible to you. Consumer Complaint: I have had these student loans with NAVIENT for some years now, and have been very conscientious about my payments. However, since losing my job, my servicer has become more aggressive and less flexible in how they are handling my payments. Even when I was working, they asked me to pay more than 50 % of my monthly earnings as payments. This XXXX is becoming more regular, and each time they raise interest, they make it harder to bring payments down to a reasonable number. This time, when the " special interest/payment '' period ended, they called my wife multiple times, then they called my mother ( who is a recovering XXXX victim ) multiple times, and THEN they contacted my estranged father ( of 20 years! ) and claimed that I had used him as a reference to borrow money. I have not spoken to my father since I was XXXX, and have NEVER listed him as a contact in my adult life. He was NOT listed as a reference for anything! I consider this XXXX, especially when I have made my monthly payments regularly, and often, I have done so even when I could not afford it.

Consumer Complaint: Since XX/XX/XXXX there has been a COVID mandate where all student loans including Parent Plus loans should not be charged interest. We consolidated our Parent Plus loans FFELP with Navient XXXX of XXXX. We have been making our payments all through COVID and they have been charging interest and late fees. I called them yesterday and spoke to an off shore representative that told me that only the direct loans qualify not to pay interest. I would like all interest payments refunded to me. Thanks you

Consumer Complaint: I have been attempting to work with Navient to reach a student loan payment amount that is within my budget. From XX/XX/XXXX- XX/XX/XXXX I participated in an interest only payment plan that allowed me to make my monthly payments on time. In XX/XX/XXXX they raised the payment. I completed a financial statement ( provided by Navient ) highlighting my current budget and how I could not afford the new payment amount. I was told that my budget did not matter. I have tried to work with them to come up with a payment amount that I can afford and they will not work with me. I want to pay my loan but they are not offering flexible options to assist me so I am now close to default. They also call myself and my co-signer multiple times a day every day at all hours.
