Consumer Complaint: I have emailed Navient over XXXX times and havent received 1 single direct response. They have only issued a copied and pasted response to CFPB ( constantly referencing old things that have nothing to do with my complaint ) and XXXX that ignores 2 important points. There was an additional point but I know Navient will admit that they lied to a 3rd party for legal reasons. Now XXXX at XXXX is ignoring emails and when he did respond it is to give information to contact DOE FSA Ombudsman which they were already told had previously been done and because this is a private loan the FSA ombudsman cant and wont get involved. XXXX is also ok with them not directly answering the 3 points I have been trying to get directly addressed for months! Its not rocket science simply directly and specifically address my points I need the following directly answered : 2 ) Because Navient is the original creditor they can contact for due diligence HOWEVER per CFPB and FDCPA I can control HOW Navient contacts me and they refuse to acknowledge it and confirm that Email and my XXXX XXXX only are the only forms of communication to me allowed as anything else is inconvenient. The ignore it and repeatedly violate it with 3rd parties 3 ) Navient ignores any and all emails sent directly to them no matter what I ask. How am I supposed to communicate when they simply ignore all emails? I know they receive them as I occasionally get out of office replies. The only vague non direct response given is only when I file a complaint with the CFPB. I shouldnt have to repeatedly file complaints with CFPB to get an answer when they all have emails.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, I took out a {$30000.00} student loan from XXXX XXXX with a cosigner due to lack of credit history. For the past 12 years, Ive paid back between {$18000.00} and {$20000.00}. But as of XX/XX/XXXX, my current balance is : {$43000.00}. Consequently, all money Ive paid back so far went toward the loans interest rates, which keep changing at Navients discretion. I made several attempts to ask why the interest rates always changed in the middle of every payment plan ( agreed by both parties ) without informing me beforehand, but Navient never gave me a valid, logical and transparent explanation. As you already know, such business practices ( by Navient ) are shady, fraudulent, unfair and must be stopped. On XX/XX/XXXX, 39 state Attorneys General announced that Navient, known as one of the nations largest student loan servicers, will provide relief totaling {$1.00} XXXX to resolve allegations of widespread unfair and deceptive student loan servicing practices and abuses in originating predatory student loans. According to the attorneys general, the interest that accrued because of Navients forbearance steering practices was added to the borrowers loan balances, pushing borrowers further in debt. You can read more details about the settlement here : XXXX XXXX XXXX/ As a XXXX resident, I also joined the multi-state lawsuit against Navient. The settlement requires Navient to make restitution payments to approximately 357,000 harmed borrowers nationwide, including 43,000 Californians. Californians will receive around {$260.00} XXXX of that debt cancellation, going to approximately 7,400 California borrowers. In addition, the settlement requires Navient to reform its loan-servicing practices, including by ensuring that its call agents advise all borrowers of the benefits of income-driven repayment plans if they are seeking to stop or lower their payments. Unfortunately, I havent received any restitution payment from Navient, and/or any notification that my loan will be canceled or my interest rates will be reduced. But both my cosigner and I continue to be harassed by Navient incessant calls and emails asking for more payments, while refusing to explain why all the money Ive paid so far went toward interest rates.

Consumer Complaint: I was done with college in 2009. I got sick with XXXX XXXX XXXX shortly after I was done with school and ended up XXXX my job. I was newly diagnosed with the XXXX and had no idea how to control it so it took me a long to to get it some what under control. I contacted Navient about how to get help with my payments, they put me on a forberance and continued to do so for a few years and finally When my wife was dealing with her loan provider she was told about an idr. so i called navient about it and then all the suden they didnt have my file no more it was now with a company called pioneer recovery. finally after months of the run around I had to get out of default with a 12 month payment program then i could get on the idr. The payments i made to the program i have never seen applied to my loans. i was on the idr untill the coronavirus pandemic started and it expired a month ago. I have also been getting notices from navient every month about the intrest on my student loans continuing to add up and I thought it was suppossed to be paused.. I just recently found out about how they were suppossed to be fixing this issue and was wondering how or when because payments are suppossed to start back up soon.

I enter into i employee service loans was denied. now i was told to consoled =ate 1 loan that i been on for 25 years. The latest issue i was given a payment extension until XXXX on Friday XXXX XXXX. The next hour i was report 90 days late and my XXXX credit went from XXXX to losing XXXX points. I need to have my account updated and remove the 90 late charges off my XXXX credit report. I am asking the bureau to investigate these scratchy practices. We in recession and the only one is benefiting is this 9 % interest rate that Navient use to win. Income driven repayment payment

Consumer Complaint: According to XX/XX/XXXX, settlement, the loan # ending in XXXX that Navient claims I have should have been relieved. The school that Navient ( at the time called XXXX XXXX ) is claiming that I had the loan for was a for-profit school ; according to Navient, the loan did take place between XXXX and XXXX, according to Navient, the loan was in delinquency, and I live in the State of Virginia XXXX The schools name is not a requirement in this settlement. Navient was supposed to inform me by XX/XX/XXXX that the loan has been relieved, but no information has been sent to me about loan relief till now. Also, nothing has been updated on my credit history to this day. I called Navient multiple times about this issue, but the people who answered the phone said they were not allowed to discuss it. I guess the fraud and deception of Navient continue. They need to update my credit history in which they should report that the loan has been relieved or should remove the loan # ending in XXXX from my credit history. Otherwise, I am calling all the XXXX state attorney generals and informing them about the fraud and deception that Navient continues. They need to do this as soon as possible and send me loan relief information through this website.

Consumer Complaint: Navient has been charging interest on my XXXX XXXX loans for the last 3 years even though I have been certified part-time student status since XXXX. I have been either certified XXXX student or XXXX student from XXXX and then again as of XXXX. Both loans were charge XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, & XX/XX/XXXX. Navient deceptive practices and blatant disregard for federal programs laws is disgusting. This is proof that Navient has used their position as my student loan servicer to break federal laws for their own financial gain at the expense of the consumer.
