Consumer Complaint: I was denied home affordable modification, then they offered me a thing called cash for keys on my property. ( I ca n't be worried about losing the house when NationStar forced me out.All I want is my money back so that I can move forward and have a safe roof over my child and I heads. ) I found out XXXX years later, that my original lender was a predatory lender. My original lender back in year XX/XX/XXXX was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX was in the process of modifying my loan ( so they say ). Next thing I know is I received papers in the mail saying that XXXX XXXX XXXX would pick up were XXXX XXXX was in modifying my loan. Then it was an on going cycle with XXXX XXXX XXXX til XXXX day I received another letter from Nationstar Mortgage. In my opinion, Nationstar was very rude and unprofessional. They say that they were going to modify the loan. But I caught them in plenty of lies. Nationstar does not communicate well with there staff. I have all of the documents and conversations written down concerning this entire matter all the way to XX/XX/XXXX, when I surrendered my keys to Nationstar for the cash for keys program. As you can see, at this point I got tired of their lies and foolishness. I hope to hear from you seen.

Consumer Complaint: My mother passed away XX/XX/XXXX, at that time her Nationstar Mortgage account was past due {$1500.00}. In XX/XX/XXXX a cashier check and XXXX money orders were sent to Nationstar in the amount of {$1600.00} with a letter from my Attorney. They applied {$800.00} and I requested they research the other {$800.00} since no one was able to tell me where this money went. We sent proof of payment with copies of the money orders and the cancelled cashier check. Payment was sent monthly to Nationstar but unbeknownst to me the payments were short ( XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX ) but cashed by Nationstar. I discovered through calling the money order company " XXXX XXXX '' that the Money orders sent with the cashier check in XX/XX/XXXX were returned to them. The XX/XX/XXXX payment was also sent back to the XXXX order company. The payments for XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX were returned to my address and I received a Foreclosure Notice. The statement due on XX/XX/XXXX was for the amount of {$5000.00}, I submitted a payment of {$5500.00} through Certified Mail on XX/XX/XXXX. They did not apply this amount to the account and returned the checks to me on XX/XX/XXXX indicating this was insufficient amount and that {$6000.00} was due. The next payment is due on XX/XX/XXXX, the statement amount is {$5900.00}. I have tried to make the payments to Nationstar Mortgage, tried to contact the Assigned Foreclosure Prevention Specialist XXXX XXXX several times but this person has only returned my call once and he left a message. I have spoken with him once. Each time I have called Nationstar I have gotten a different story as to how much is owed, where to send it and if the account is still active. I need assistance with getting this account current. Any assistance you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, XXXX XXXXcell XXXXhome XXXX

Why do I have an overdue payment amount of {$59.00} reflecting on my XXXX XXXX, 2015 and XXXX XXXX statements? I am still not clear on how I can have an overdue payment when payments have been coming from Keep Your Home California under Hardest Hit Program. These Overdue Payments have appeared monthly on my statements under Explanation of Amount Due since I have been on the Hardest Hit Program. Please advise why and what these are for?

Consumer Complaint: I believe the lender, Nationstar Mortgage, is effectively changing the terms of my loan. Although payments are not late until the XXXX of the month, and my payments have been set up on autodraft since the inception of the loan, recently the bank has had oversees callers calling me beginning on the XXXX of the month or earlier asking for payment. These are call center employees without access to my account records. I feel this is harassment plain and simple, to get people to pay earlier than they need to in order to be in time.

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage company NatuonStar has refused my payments. I fell behind but have been trying to pay what I owe. A few months ago I sent a {$3000.00} payment which they never put towards my debt just kept suspended, when I trod paying another {$1000.00} they refused to accept it. I pay electronically. I have called so XXXX times and they do not answer, I have been on hold for over half an hour and messages left never get a response. At my wits end I asked for help from my local XXXX and they say my loan inand I needed to pay {$6000.00} to bring it out if forclosure Which I did. They had mailed me a check for {$3000.00} I had paid over a month prior and used my own money as well as a loan from my mother. I sent a cashiers check certified mail. My XXXX person said they had received it but there would be some legal fees. The very next week Nationstar returned my cashiers check and claimed I owed {$8400.00}, ni explanation why I owed so much more in the letter. Ironically the same day I reviewed a regular invoice saying I owed {$6900.00} ... Which was the {$6000.00} plus my XXXX payment. When we called the person had no idea where the {$8400.00} figure came from and that she would get a amount to me within 24-48 hours for the total due, payments and fees and that if I overnight ex the check it would be taken care of. However she did not get back to me and when I called I was put on hold for 20 minutes. My XXXX person did get a hold of the and they now say because it 's gone into XXXX I owe {$7900.00}. They say {$1300.00} is legal fees.. Which they refused to send an itemized explain action of claiming it 's their policy not to. Had I paid before the end of XXXX, which I would have had they called me with the amount due in the 24-48 hour time frame they gave me. So instead of {$560.00} in fees thy day I now owe {$1300.00}. I personally feel even the {$560.00} seems high and wanted to bring the invoice to a lawyer to see if it 's unreasonable or not, also I should b or have to pay & XXXX extra because they failed to get back to me in the time Fran quoted by them. I feel this is extortion or fraud. I have called and left messages with a local lawyer and the South Dakota attorney generals office.

Consumer Complaint: I refinanced in XXXX 2015. My escrow funds on XXXX XXXX were {$1100.00} indicated in the mortgage payoff statement. My new mortgage company ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) wired the payoff funds XX/XX/2015 which included my city taxes. My old mortgage company ( Nationstar ) paid my city taxes ( {$670.00} ) as well. My mortgage broker told me that I should be receiving a check for {$1100.00} because that was the balance in my escrow funds. I called my city treasure and they told me that they sent a check to Nationstar on XXXX XXXX, 2015. The city treasurer told me to call Nationstar in a few weeks. I called Nationstar in XX/XX/XXXX. I was told by Nationstar that I would receive my check for {$670.00} in 10 days. I asked them why it was n't {$1100.00} and they said they needed to pay for taxes. I asked them about the taxes and they said it was city taxes. I told them there was n't any taxes to pay for. It did n't make sense.Then 4 weeks went by, there was still no check. I called them in XX/XX/XXXX and again they said my check would be delivered in 10 days. Still there was no check. Contacted them in XX/XX/XXXX and again they said that my check was on the way. Still have not received the check of {$1100.00}. I heard about your site and now am reporting Nationstar for not giving me my escrow balance.

Consumer Complaint: Hi. I had been contacting Nationstar since XXXX of 2015 to apply for a loan modification. They told me call in a few weeks to check the status and I did. I contacted them XXXX XXXX, 2015 and they said they never received them so I resubmitted on XXXX XXXX and again was told to check in a few weeks. Called them XXXX XXXX, 2015 and the same we never received them, resubmit. After this time of resubmitting I get a response saying to refprmat the documents to PDF, now I knew I had the right email all along because I received a response. I have a buyer interested and he needed the oay off information with reinstatement fees and all so I requested the fees on Monday XXXX XXXX, 2015 and was told to call back in 24-48 hrs, so I did. I called XXXX XXXX, to try to push the date further to allow my buyer to get the funds. They said they would send me an exacted pay off with in 24-48 hours. At this time ( Friday XXXX XXXX, 2015 ) I received an email at XXXX ( after hours ) with a link to get in to get the payoff, and was unable to get it yet alone call them back. First I was told to call the lawyer representing them so I did then told to call Nationstar which already have. I am on XXXX and explained to them my situation since about XXXX XXXX, 2015. Today is XXXX XXXX, 2015 the day before the foreclosure auction and now they want me to get the funds from my buyer and that is impossible because I still need the pay off amount. Being that they have been doing this for 4 months really show that this was there intention all along and also I have heard similiar situations like this happening. It 's not right. Once I told them I was on XXXX for 11 years and limited on income they stopped everything.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2010 I closed on a house for me and my children. The property should never have closed in it 's condition. The broker acted in concert with the realtor to close the loan on a house that is almost uninhabitable. The condition of the property was grossly misrepresented by all parties involved. Because of their deceptive business practices our finances have been in ruin.
