I kept calling Nationstar weekly for an update and they kept requesting docs/ I received a letter from Nationstar dated XX/XX/XXXX stating they had received all documentation for the Govt Trial. Itsa 20-60 days for the pkg review,. The letter also provided that during the evaluation period, my house would not be referred to foreclosure. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Nationstar to confirm if the mod was in review and it was. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Nationstar date XX/XX/XXXX stating addl docs were needed to evaluate the trial pkg. The requested documentation had already been submitted on XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX XXXX and he stated I had until XX/XX/XXXX to return the documents. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted Nationstar for an update and spoke with XXXX XXXX. She stated she was newly assigned to my file and told I needed more documents, the same that had been sent on XX/XX/XXXX.I asked her to thoroughly check her system and she denied the documents were no there in the system. I insisted that she look again and she finally found the documents in the system, but still demanded I resumbit the documents. I faxed it to her on the same day at approx XXXX. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with XXXX XXXX to get a status update on the file. She stated nothing else was needed and the file was in U/W. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from the original representative who was handling my case and told me everything was in the U/W process and everything was going as expected. The same day I received a letter from a BK attorney stating my house was going to be sold at a foreclosure sale on XX/XX/XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX immediately to inquire about a possible sale. XXXX XXXX reviewed the system and told me there was no sale date on my house.I told XXXX XXXX that I could afford my home and just had a temporary set back due to my medical illness. I further advised her if my house was going to be sold, I would file for BK..On XX/XX/XXXX, I called XXXX XXXX again to check on the status of my modification review. She informed me that the process would take some time to complete and everything was progressing smoothly. I asked XXXX XXXX again about a possible sale date on my home and was told there was no sale date on my home. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a certified letter dated XX/XX/XXXX stating the my property was in foreclosure and the title was expected to bee transferred to XXXX XXXX within the next 60 to 90 days. They actually foreclosed on my home and misrepresented and fraudulently handled my case. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX to inform me that my house had been sold on XX/XX/XXXX and he represented the new owner, XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX XXXX, my mortgage loan was transferred without notice from XXXX XXXX XXXX to Nationstar Mortgage. I continued to pay XXXX the monthly mortgage and was assessed a late fees and received bad marks on my credit because I did not know the payee had changed. In XXXX XXXX, my regular payment was not credited to my mortgage. Instead Nationstar put the money in a 'reserve account ' and has since used it to pay a {$200.00} increase in my monthly payment. ( My ARM is not scheduled to increase until XXXX XXXX All of this was done without any notice to or agreement by me. I 'm concerned about making any payment as it may, again, be used for a purpose other than my contracted mortgage payment.???

Consumer Complaint: The home owner had medical issues and moved to XXXX. Her daughter and family stayed in the home and were responsible for paying all expenses. The son in law lost his job of 15 years and daughter lost her business due to the recession of the economy. They had tried to get assistance, however they tripled the attorney fees and they were unable to bring the mortgage current. They applied XXXX times for loan modification which they were told they lost and did n't get the paperwork. The home owner decided to put the home on the market which did not get any offers due to the marketing and pricing. I worked with the home owner for over a year and we finally dropped the price significantly and got a written offer which was submitted on XXXX XXXX, 2015 along with updating and complete all tasks in XXXX. I was told through an email on XXXX XXXX that they denied the short sale. NO EXPLANATION. I called the lender today since they were closed for the holiday and was told they did not have enough time to review the offer and will not stay the foreclosure date until they offer is reviewed. They did not even offer the home owner the option for Deed In Lieu or assistance to the tenants to relocate.

Consumer Complaint: Loan was sold from XXXX XXXX XXXX to NationStar and I refinanced with the servicer shortly after transfer in response to several solicitations. With XXXX XXXX XXXX, I had bi-weekly mortgage payments automatically set to deduct from my checking account. Once transferred to NationStar, the service is not available to be honored - they utilize a XXXX party vendor ( XXXX XXXX ) however, they charge a {$290.00} set-up fee and a standard monthly service fee ( I 'm okay with their monthly service charge, as this is standard across most convenience payment platforms ) My concern is that the NationStar servicer discourages clients from making bi-weekly payments and their website only allows payments in full. NationStar directs clients to XXXX XXXX where the XXXX representatives advise that NationStar will RETURN any payments which are not for the full monthly amount due.

Consumer Complaint: I AM TRYING TO COMPLETE A SHORT SALE TRANSACTION IN ORDER TO AVOID FORECLOSURE. MY SERVICER, NATIONSTAR, HAS A WELL KNOWN REPUTATION FOR CREATING OBSTACLES IN THE SHORT SALE PROCESS. THEY REQUIRE BUYERS TO PLACE OFFERS ON A WEBSITE KNOWN AS XXXX OR XXXX. I HAVE A BUYER WHO PRESENTED ME A BONA FIDE OFFER PRIOR TO THE AUCTION DATE AND I ACCEPTED THE OFFER. NATIONSTAR MADE THE UNLAWFUL DEMAND THAT MY BUYER PLACE THE SAME OFFER ON XXXX OF THE AFOREMENTIONED WEBSITES AND PAY AN ADDITIONAL 5 % PREMIUM - INCREASING THE ACCEPTED PURCHASE PRICE BY 5 %. PRIOR TO THE AUCTION ON XXXX XXXX, 2015, NATIONSTAR INFORMED MY REAL ESTATE AGENT THAT " THE FILE IS BEING REFERRED TO XXXX... '' A FEW DAYS LATER NATIONSTAR ANNOUNCED " THIS FILE IS NOT WITH XXXX... THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING THE PROPERTY READY FOR THEIR SITE. '' NATIONSTAR CREATED DELAYS AND OBSTACLES WITH THIS BACK AND FORTH. FURTHERMORE, ON XXXX XXXX, 2015 NATIONSTAR INFORMED MY REAL ESTATE AGENT THAT THE BUYER THAT THE AGENT MARKETED AND FOUND WAS THE WINNING BUYER OR BIDDER. A FEW DAYS LATER THEY CHANGED THEIR MINDS. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED COPIES OF EMAILS TO DOCUMENT THE CLOWN-LIKE BEHAVIOR AT NATIONSTAR.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXXTo Whom It May ConcernREF : Borrower requested cancellation of PMI and refund amount of excess PMI paid alreadyThis is in regard to the communication I have been having with NationStar Mortgage in regard to my PMI Cancellation requestBased on my PMI Disclosure statement which was provided to me when we ( my wife and I ) signed up on the closing of our house and obtained mortgage XX/XX/XXXX, it clearly states that, irrespective of the outstanding loan balance, my PMI should be immediately removed XX/XX/XXXX. The date for my principal balance of the loan to reach 80 % has already passed by, and I sincerely requested them to cancel the PMI payment immediately from the total amount of my monthly payments. In fact, as further stated in the document, the PMI will automatically terminate on the date the principal balance of my loan is first scheduled to reach 78 % of the original value of the property, based solely on the initial amortization schedule for my loan and irrespective of the outstanding balance of my loan on that date. This date is XX/XX/XXXX. The mortgage company told me to follow up with them after making the XX/XX/XXXX instalment, and I did contact them again in this matter. They are now responding that I still need to continue and pay PMI till 70 % of the original value of property. This is not right, since the PMI disclosure already has 78 % XX/XX/XXXX for PMI to be removed. Please look into my case and kindly take necessary action accordingly.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I am trying to get a fair mortgage modification, this is the XXXX bank that has owned my mortgage. I was in a predatory adjustable rate mortgage XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX XXXX Bank, I fell behind after the XXXX market crash, and in XXXX my income had been drastically reduced I applied for Make Home Affordable and was finally approved after 2 years!!! They modified my loan and it was a satisfactory situation. I made XXXX payments and then received a letter from my lender the loan would be Sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX, I was assured they would honor the modification in place, XXXX XXXX XXXX said I had to reapply and I was denied supposedly for not returning documents of course that is not true. They would lose every document I sent them over and over again. after arguing with them and repeatably resending applications. They sold my Loan to Nationstar Mortgage, and again the process started all over again fill out the loan modification documents over and over again. after another 2 years, They finally sent a letter stating I had been approved for and in-housemodification, that included arrears of over $ XXXX and its a adjustable rate loan. I only owed $ XXXX in XXXX when I received the Make Home Affordable modification. Now its XXXX its been almost 6 years of begging, arguing, document after document being sent to them they want me to accept a Loan Modification for $ XXXX payments of {$1900.00} and after 2 years the rate will adjust. I am XXXX getting ready to file for social security how could I possibly accept a modification with these terms. My house is only worth maybe $ XXXXif that. They send these Realtor 's by with their camera sticking out the window as they drive by and they really think thats and accurate Appraisal, its a XXXX XXXX a certified market analyses XXXX. XXXX Not a Certified Appraisal Report XXXX that is the only way they would know the true value of my home. ( The system is so XXXX the government bailed the banks out and we get stuck with this inhuman treatment I mean almost 6 years of this torture of trying to get the banks to give me a fair chance, if my home goes to the courthouse steps it will be sold for less than $ XXXX, they keep saying its not worth a bank foreclosing they would rather try to keep the home owner in their home, if thats true why has it taken this long to get a fair Modification with XXXX banks, is there any justice at all I hate the system I hate what its done to me and so many other homeowners its really a true shame the system works this way ... They should pay me for all the hell they have put me through .. ... I am a fighter thats why I have tried for so long to be treated fairly, I think I am fighting a losing battle the Bankers have to be so greedy and just keep foreclosing and taking homeowners only security they have their home ... I have no idea what I will do if I lose my home I have no where to go. This is a brief outline of what has taken place with myself and these XXXX Large Banks, XXXX and now Nationstar Mortgage. I truly could write a book on the dishonest things they have done to me and many othersthe unfair tactics they use ..., I am probably XXXX the lucky ones, at least I have managed to fight them off for this long ... Tired and so disappointed in the system ...
