Consumer Complaint: This is a continuation from my report/comment of last month ( early XXXX ) regarding Nationstar Mortgage. This was case XXXX. I was told by XXXX, from the Escrow department, on XXXX that I would be getting an email that day explaining how the company calculated my new monthly payment, but as of this date I have not received that information. I called the company on this date because I had not received a monthly statement to make my payment for XXXX. The message on the line as I waited in the phone cue was that my account was overdue! Just like last month. The amount it said I owed was over {$4000.00}. This was not the case, as I learned in the course of this conversation. XXXX said they put my payment from XXXX in suspension, did n't give me credit for it, because it was a " partial payment. '' This payment was {$2100.00} made on XXXX and confirmed through my bank, XXXX. This was hardly late, paid on the first day of the month. So at that point I had no balance. XXXX from the XXXX department confirmed on the phone on this day that this was the amount I owed. This was my monthly payment. In fact, a statement from XXXX, dated XXXX, said {$2100.00} was my monthly payment amount effective XXXX/XXXX/16. Another statement from XXXX dated XXXX confirmed this monthly amount. And another on XXXX confirmed this amount. All of these were on the company 's letterhead. So why did the company suspend this payment on XXXX? They must have planned on reviewing my Escrow and refiguring my monthly amount, other wise why would they not give me immediate credit for {$2100.00} on XXXX? There should have been no message on their line that I owed a balance. I would like this cleared up. XXXX explained that they refigured my Escrow again in the middle of XXXX and found a mistake and changed my monthly amount. This is the third time they refigured it in the past few months! He said they went back and refigured my Escrow this most recent time because I asked them to do this. I did not ask them to do this. As a result, he said, they found a mistake in the interest rate, which was too low, and made an adjustment increasing my payment. I want to see the evidence of this. My note says the interest rate can only go up once a year. What I did ask them earlier was why my payment had gone up back in XXXX. They said then that my taxes and insurance had gone up! My taxes only go up in the Fall. I checked with the assessor 's office in LA and they said that there had been no increases. The insurance also only goes up once a year, in XXXX. I checked with the company and they said no increase was given. So I would like to see evidence of how they computed these XXXX increases. Plus I would like the situation cleared up regarding the alleged lateness and lack of payments. I will mail the documents referenced here. Per JC I sent my XXXX payment XXXX for {$2200.00}. On the phone he said this was my balance. As I mentioned I had not received a monthly statement. On the phone with him XXXX he took my payment for {$180.00} to make up the difference caused by the latest Escrow refiguring that I had no knowledge of ( I have a confirmation number ). My account has to be in balance. How can a company put a payment in suspension because it is allegedly partial before a decision is made to change the amount?! This appears intentional Also I noticed that several thousand dollars have reduced my principal but I have never sent payments to the company to reduce my principal.

Consumer Complaint: I have imbound account ( Escrow ). The collector company collect Monthly payments to pay for property taxes and home insurance. I bought my house in XXXX 2014. The collector paid part of the property taxes and did n't pay the supplemental taxes which is the difference between the old assessment and the new assessment. The new assessment is related to the new purchase value. I sent the Tax and the Supplemental tax bills to the collector. I reminded them two times to pay the supplemental taxes and they kept telling me that they get tax information directly from tax collector. I contacted the tax collector. He confirmed the the supplemental tax is due and their is a late fee. Attached XXXX projected Escrow show the estimated value of the Property Taxes. XXXX was the collector before transfer it to Nationstar.

Consumer Complaint: Since XXXX XXXX XXXX sold my mortgage to Nationstar about 2 years ago in XXXX, I have been having numerous issues with making my payments and with payments being sent in before the XXXX of every month, they have put payments in escrow or in a suspense account, instead of applying the payments to the actual payment or to the principal. I have even sent in extra money to apply towards the payment and the extra monies were placed in a suspense account, and later Nationstar will charge late fees to my account upwards of {$300.00} every month, which notes as a full payment late on my account. I have also had full payments mailed back to me with no true explanation, which also started with XXXX XXXX XXXX. Also, my mortgage payment has NEVER been the same amount. Every statement I have received since dealing with this company has been a different amount. I have a fixed rate mortgage, but for some reason my bill changes monthly!!! I have called several times to settle this matter, however no one can give me an explanation other than saying that my payment is late. I have asked several customer service representatives how to get my payment to a consistent amount, however I am just told to pay what I owe, and even if I pay several hundreds of dollars over that amount, I am still reported as late, and my extra payment will be placed in the suspense account again! Even with me making my payment on time, this company has reported me late to all three-credit agencies for several months. I have no other options, as speaking with Nationstar has gotten me nowhere, and they do not seem to care. I am desperately trying to repair my credit and I have no other blemishes on my credit report, except for Nationstar who I pay ON TIME every month!!! I have every statement sent and every check that I have sent in. I have even tried to wire them the payment, which is still reported as late. I feel as if I will never be able to pay off my mortgage at this rate. My credit has taken a significant hit with this company. I have had them send me a copy of every transaction since I was sold to them and nothing seems to make sense. All I want is for this situation to be corrected. This has been stressful for my husband and I, as it has ruined our chances of obtaining other properties and getting reduced interest rates on other loans. I think a fair resolution would be for Nationstar to contact each of the credit reporting agencies and explain that we ARE NOT late on our mortgage ( they have not reported since XXXX XXXX )

Consumer Complaint: Please see a letter dated XXXX XXXX, XXXX disputing my mortgage balance, I have been paying and have paid previous note holders but the payments are unaccountable. I have attempted to resolve this situation but I am not having any success. Please help me resolve this I do need your help. Date : XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Loan Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CEO Nationstar Mortgage holdings , Inc . XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Dear XXXX XXXX, I am compelled to write this letter to you, due to a recent review of my account ; in which I noticed that my mortgage balance as of XXXX XXXX, XXXX is {$740000.00} which is not correct. Originally the mortgage balance due was {$560000.00}. I became a victim of predatory lending when I refinance my mortgage with XXXX Loans. My payments jumped from {$5000.00} to {$8000.00} at that time. In XXXX due to the loss of my job, I fell behind in payments resulting in foreclosure proceedings. Please see the attached documents listed below : Attachment # 1, On XXXX XXXX, XXXX a foreclosure mediation settlement was reached between the XXXX Bank and I. Attachment # 2, On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I was given an agreement to make XXXX payments of {$60000.00} and XXXX for {$8000.00}. Attachment # 3, During this period XXXX Loans merged with XXXX XXXX XXXX And I received a letter dated XXXX XXXX, XXXX approving my probationary mortgage. Attachment # 4 Payment schedule from XXXX attached document. Attachment # 5, On XXXX XXXX my mortgage was transferred to Nationstar from XXXX. Attachment # 6, A permanent mortgage was granted with the terms of XXXX5 years {$3600.00}, please see the attached schedule of payment. I have been on time with my monthly payments and the payments were increased by almost three hundred dollars, I continued to send the same amount and found out all payments were put in suspension and I was retuned a check in the amount of {$340000.00} I had not mail this amount. I called customer service and received correspondence marked # 7 which did not make any sense to me. In XXXX, XXXX I made an inquiry regarding balance due and received response dated XXXX XXXX, XXXX please see document marked as # 8 which again did not satisfy my inquiry. Please see attached late payment due notices dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and XXXX/XXXX/XXXX marked as documents # 9, # 10, # 11 and # 12 these payment notices also reflect the mortgage balance due {$620000.00} I am attaching copies of my bank statements in response to the above late payment notices, please see the bank statement for the period of XXXX document # 13 in response to document # XXXX a payment was made on XXXX XXXX, XXXX Document # 14 in response to document # XXXX showing payment received by Nationstar XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX Attachment # 15 in response to document # XXXX showing payment received by Nationstar XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX Attachment # 16 in response to document # XXXX showing payment received by Nationstar XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX and return the same amount to me on XXXX XXXX and on XXXX XXXX, XXXX was ask to pay adjustment in the amount of {$210.00} Please see attached document # 17 showing the increased payment in the amount of {$3800.00} Attachment # 18 shows another increase starting XXXX XXXX there was another increase bringing the amount to {$3900.00} You also reported delinquent payments to all XXXX credit reporting agencies which has hindered me personally and professionally. Your staff has displayed a total incompetence and loan shark like behavior. I have been paying my payments religiously and on some occasions XXXX a month. Consumer Complaint: I got divorced inXXXX. Mortgage and all bills were to be paid by him until house sold and then I was to get alimony. He stopped paying mortgage I think in XXXX. I was contacted from Nationstar in XXXX and they were moving forward with foreclosure. I hired an attorney and was trying to work out a mortgage with them that I could afford. Attorney told me they will negotiate with Nationstar and they have won a number of cases for clients. THis was false. All attorney did was fill out papers and send to bank. I was not aware of this an and was told in XXXX XXXX I got a hamp loan. My monthly payments were more than original mortgage and I believe Nationstar miscalculated my gross income. I filed an appeal a and ended up getting rid of my attorney after paying a lot of money for nothing. Nationstar also told me I should have spoken to them without an attorney. I start making my payments in XXXX XXXX while waiting for them to respond to appeal. I travel for work so I am not home during week to get mail. Often I did not get to mail timely because of that Long story short they foreclose on me in XXXX XXXX even th though I was making my monthly payments. I did not realize I no longer owned the home until I did a public search to be sure my ex husbands name was off house. On XXXX XXXX I call bank and speak to my contact there. He said they will vacate the sale. That was done but judge set another sale date for XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Bank tried to get that closed but court denied. I continue to make payments. I also in XXXX spent XXXX dollars to fix roof. Would I do this if I knew I did n't own property. In XXXX I started to make two half payments to bank because money was tight. They cashed first check at end of XXXX and returned the other to me. On XXXX XXXX I write note to bank saying I no longer wanted this home and I would pay them to rent for 4-6 months to give me time to save and find a place to live. I also asked for moving expenses. Never got a proper response from them about that. Just letters saying as of last they will get back to me by XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I return from work trip to find note on door stating they are going to rekey if I do n't call by XXXX that day. This was placed by realtor XXXX XXXX on THurs. I spoke with him and he understood how upset I was and told me he will speak to me next week. I get email with demands to vacate by such date with money amounts to them ( this will be added as a document ) Before I could respond I was served a vacate letter from an attorney. I call attorney she seemed pleasant and explained to her how the bank foreclosed on me and did not tell me until after and kept cashing my checks. She wanted proof which I sent and she said the bank is saying my bank statements with front and back of checks is not proof of payment. They then file for motion of writ possession. I have explained to bank I am single woman just trying to recover from what ex has put me through now they will add an eviction on my name which will make it impossible for me to even rent. I am willing to leave just need a little more time to find something and pack. I am XXXX and I work XXXX. I feel that Nationstar has not treated me properly and it appeared that even the people I spoke with from bank did n't know what was going on with my house. Then when they say they will get me an answer I am thrown an attorney after me with an eviction. I did try to work this out in XXXX. I would have been near out already if they would have answered me then instead of sending the same letter with a different date they would get me an answer.

Consumer Complaint: I have been disputing the alleged debt Nationstar Mortgage , LLC claims their acting in the capacity as servicer for the XXXX since XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I 've reported complaints to the CFPB as well. Nationstar consistently submit fraudulent and false information. All the information Nationstar has sent to me and the CFPB has been contradictory. In an effort to get clarification on this alleged debt, I requested my FHA loan history data to compare it to what has been submitted to me and the CFPB. I 've attached the FHA Case Details sent to me on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. It further complicates the matter. The status of the alleged loan reported to the FHA is incorrect as well. I will be filing an FHA complaint with XXXX, Secretary and XXXX, Inspector General of the HUD Administration.

Consumer Complaint: Applied for a modification when my husband passed away and I was the only income. They sent me the package which I completed sending all requested documents/tax returns/death certificate-notarizefterd. SS statement of benefits/XXXX years of bank records/copies of all my monthly expenses. All this was faxed at my expense. Then the calls/e-mails started ... ..they needed this they needed that. I sent it all I told them.Well we are missing documents. Sent what they requested again.Faxed. to them. Still missing documents.. Supposedly they assign an account manager to your case but you never get to speak to that person.Anyone answering the phone can help they say. After almost a year I get a letter saying I was denied the modification because of missing documents. I stopped paying my mortgage and told then they can foreclose which will take about two years. When we go to court I will show how they try to " help '' their customers especially seniors. As of now I am only XXXX payments in arrears
