Consumer Complaint: I tried to refi my fha mortgage through nationstar three times. Each time they refuse to streamline my refi because my city loaned me {$50000.00} ( no interest deferred 10yrs ) under the redevelopment program. The city is now a lienholder and gives permission to subordinate every time I try to refi.

Consumer Complaint: Nationstar has refused to release my much needed insurance claim funds that are required to repair my fire damaged property. Have spoken with countless agents in the Loss Draft Department and managers in the corporate Customer Service Department only to be given a further run around. Nationstar has held on to these funds for over a month now without releasing any funds for the remediation of my property. Had been told that the reason they ca n't release the funds to me is because the state of Virginia where I live requires a licensed contractor to do the repairs. Title XXXX in the code of Virginia allows for Homeowners to repair their properties without the need for a contractors license. This has been a very horrendous experience and definitely is a bad faith and deceptive practice.

Consumer Complaint: For the second tax cycle since purchasing the house in XXXX 2015, Seneca has failed to fully pay the taxes owed to the XXXX of XXXX XXXX. Please see CFPB Case number : XXXX for additional background. In the last cycle, though I contacted them frequently, six months elapsed and the Town threatened to put a lien on the house, sell it, and garnish our wages, in addition to other options. Seneca is now repeating this behavior. I have been calling them since XX/XX/XXXX and have re-provided all types of documentation to help them with their research. But each time I call all I get is a response saying they are still researching. I even provided the name of a contact in the Town 's tax department who would walk them through everything and they failed to contact him for a month. I request your assistance in bringing timely resolution to this matter. I am happy to provide additional information, such as account numbers and tax bills, at your request.

Consumer Complaint: Nationstar refuses to postpone Trustee sale despite the fact I have a signed contract and approval from Nationstar to short sale the property. One two separate occasions, the agents lied to me ( borrower ) by telling me that they are unable to postpone the auction without approval from XXXX ; however, XXXX told me that it is the servicer who requests the postponement of the trustee sale. It was n't until I spoke to XXXX at Nationstar today, XXXX XXXX that explained that Nationstar will NOT postpone a sale despite a signed contract if Nationstar has already postpone it twice. My XXXX seller 's offer of $ XXXX backed out after the short sale process took 2 months to even get a counteroffer from XXXX which XXXX turnaround is 3-5 days. My XXXX offer of $ XXXX was signed on XXXX XXXX, 2016 ; however, it was n't until XXXX XXXX Nationstar submitted the offer to XXXX, which XXXX counteroffer came in on XXXX XXXX. When I asked the agent why it took that long, the agent agreed it took too long and could n't explain why. Remember this is the XXXX offer Nationstar has submitted on this property, there 's no reason why it needed to take 16 days to submit an offer on a house they have already submitted to XXXX. Furthermore, the Trustee Sale is approved to start at $ XXXX, but Nationstar refuses to push back the Trustee Sale when I already have a signed contract with a Buyer for $ XXXX. A nice family is going to learn that they lost the house they put down XXXX % in escrow because Nationstar is unwilling to postpone the Trustee Sale. Nationstar needs to postpone the Trustee Sale and allow me to short sale the home which is what they agreed me to do.

Consumer Complaint: I did a modification with Nationstar Mtg. in 2013. In my modification is was unclear that they were adding a XXXX trust deed for the arrears. This has created a financial hardship for me due to the loan limit restrictions for XXXX XXXX. The subordinated note provided to me states that this loan is due in XXXX. It was completely unknown to me that this was a balloon payment. On this document they failed to indicate that there is a balloon payment feature. When I spoke with them I was under the impression that this amount was being forgiven not added as a second with a balloon payment. They contacted me several times on different occasions to sign documents and sent out a notary public each time. When I asked what they were for, I was told that is was to finalize my modification, no mention of a second. After sending XXXX different people out Nationstar Mtg. approached me a 5th time and offered me {$1000.00} to sign the docs. As I was going through financial hardship I accepted the money and signed the docs and was mislead as to the actual terms, as I thought this was to modify my original note not to add a second note. Because of the FHA loan limits I am unable to refi. I would like to know If this amount can be forgiven as I was initially lead to believe it would be. It is my request that this amount be forgiven due to misrepresentation.

Consumer Complaint: My ex wife was awarded the property in our divorce in XXXX. She refused to pay the mortgage from the very first month, and on XXXX separate occasions I caught the payments up and took her to court to get her out and stop damaging my credit. Dealt with a different judge each time. The XXXX told her to keep them current, with no judgement on her part, even though it was ruining my good credit. At the lowest point, my XXXX score was at XXXX, based on her actions, not mine. The third time, I was awarded the property in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX said I had to live there in order for them to work with me. For the next year in " modification '' of the loan they would not accept payments or send me a bill. Four times they " lost '' the paperwork and made me refile. Then they said they could n't work with me because the house had been in arrears for too long. Told me to vacate, which I did, in XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX sold to another servicer, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and they added ridiculous fees to the original amount, making the amount due well over the amount of the {$140000.00} original loan. They agreed to a short sale, and our realtor worked on it for a year. They denied XXXX cash offers, XXXX that was at full value. In frustration, she gave up, and we could n't blame her. They sold a year later to Nationstar, who added their own outrageous fees. Our lawyer got involved, as Nationstar has included my current wife " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' and it has greatly impacted her very good credit. Nationstar sent legal documents offering us a " in lieu of deed '' offer which would take it out of our name, which is what we wanted. Our lawyer responded to Nationstar and asked them to proceed. No response from them. He then sent them an Order to Appear to get the ball rolling, and they responded by changing legal counsel. We got frustrated and gave up. That was XX/XX/XXXX. Our hands have been tied for obtaining a home loan for 10 years now. We were just denied a loan today because of this. Our loan would have been approved without this very large blemish on our credit report. We want our names removed from the title of the property that no one has actually foreclosed on in TEN years! It remains in my name. We want this removed from our credit files from all three reporting agencies for both my wife and myself. Any help or direction you can give us would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
