Consumer Complaint: ***THESE ARE NEW CRIMES EXCLUSIVELY BY NSTIONSTAR FROM XXXX XXXX TO THE PRESENT**** We have all heard the horror stories from the homeowners and the XX/XX/XXXX housing crash. Things like " they wo n't let me pay '', " they are still working with me, I just talked to them today '' ( even though I am at their house to sell it with them in it ... they have no clue ), and the most consistent in EVERY case ... " my payment went crazy and I just could n't afford it anymore '' Attached are XXXX loans experiencing the same exact thing ... no payment for XXXX and XXXX, XXXX ... both monthly payments are nearly identical. Bank # 1..XXXX ... is an honest bank. The payment has always been consistent and the service has always been excellent. We have XXXX attached notices from them politely reminding the homeowner that they have 30 days to make the past due payments or they " may be forced to accelerate the loan ''. They also send the required monthly statements every month, they provide the required service member disclosures, and you can see attached HUD disclosure, because they are honest and they do not want the home. They are a legitimate business, not a racketeering scam. Bank # 2 ... Nationstar ... is a monopoly and a criminal organization that never should have been allowed to form. These predators have crawled from the slime that created the XX/XX/XXXX housing crash and laws are n't even a consideration for them. The homeowner was given aaudulent statement in XXXX XXXX of almot {$1400.00}. The payment was changed, verbally, to {$990.00} but we do n't know for sure because they WILL NOT mail a monthly statement and they have n't in XX/XX/XXXX. We have paid thousands of doillars but have been given no receipt. When I asked XXXX XXXX, Customer Relations Manager, about our statrements, he sadi ... and I quote ... : '' check spam : ''. The customer service at Nationstar is a fraud. They do n't answer the phone, return phone calls or emails. They are focused on defrauding the US Government and it is intentional and criminal. They have not followed any of the lws on origination or servicing so their comfort with breaking the law is TERRIFYING. Please note that loan # XXXX and Loan # XXXX both have a payment of approximately XXXX a month. Honest bank gives you the required notice and 30 days and a warning " they may accelerate '' the loan .... because they are honest and compliant. If I have an issue they will correct it immediately and they want {$2100.00} Bank # 2 ... dishonest, criminal Nationstar ... committed loan fraud on origination, stole money from our escrow account and jacked up our payment before returning it and brining the payment back down. The homeowner never receives monthly statements nor are they even allowed to pay their mortgage because these criminals wont even provide a receipt for the last payment of {$4000.00}. They want {$4600.00} ... immediately ... with no explanation he fees, and that is 5 months of payments. Pre payments are illegal so they are violating Florida Law. They want the homeowner to walk away so they can put their attorneys, title company, maintenance company, and auction companies to work while defrauding the taxpayer for the full face value of the loan. They steal the home from grandmapa and everyone else they can, they have the taxpayer cover the fraud, they pay themselves to take care of the home and they sell the home. They make profit, profit, profit and more profit from ILLEGAL activity from start to finish. Bank # 1, XXXX, is an honest banks that Profits from a sound business plan. Bank # 2 ... Nationstar ... illegally forecloses to collect on FHA insured loans and THE TAXPAYER PAYS.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX my husband had a XXXX which left him with a XXXX. He has been deemed XXXX by the U.S. Social Security XXXX Office. Three days after his XXXX, while he was still in the hospital I contacted the mortgage company to explain the circumstances. As my husband is self employed and we had no savings I knew we would be unable to make our mortgage payment. I have been working with the mortgage company for the past 16 months to keep our home from foreclosure and have worked with several agencies. ( I have documented over XXXX steps I have taken regarding this matter ) On XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX submitted a a request for forbearance on our behalf. It was denied due to lack of income verification and XXXX said we would now need to work directly with the mortgage company. I submitted the income verification by the XXXX deadline and never heard back from the mortgage company until we received a preforclosure notice dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. ( During that time my father-in-law passed away and my husband had emergency carotid XXXX XXXX. ) In speaking with my husband he was able to say " email '' and it turns out he had been getting email statements for the mortgage company the entire time and I was n't aware of it, he had n't thought to tell me because of his XXXX. I immediately took the last statement and paid over {$6000.00} which the mortgage company refused. I then contacted the MN Attorney General 's Office. Under their recommendation we applied for a Home Affordable Modification in XXXX XXXX. After making three monthly trial period payments we were given the terms of the modification in XXXX which included {$9000.00} in past due and interest fees, changed the mortgage from a 20 year to 40 year mortgage, increased our interest rate by .25 %, increased our mortgage payment by {$7.00} per month, and shows no indication of the three " trial period payments '' we made totaling {$2300.00}. I feel very strongly that the terms of this refinancing are unjust and unfair and in no way " helps '' our family. Although we are still able to live in our home we will now owe well more than the market value ( {$90000.00} ). This issue has been negligently and grossly mishandled by the mortgage company, has been discriminatory with regards to my husbands XXXX and has caused us an incredible amount of stress and hardship during a time when I should be concentrating on the health and healing of my husband ( he averages XXXX-XXXX XXXX per week ) and the raising of our XXXX XXXX year old XXXX daughters. I would like to file suit in federal district court to cover actual and punitive damages.

They lost stuff that I sent them, they ask for documents and I send them. They say that they need more but can not tell me what they need. They finally sent me documentation that they denied the refinance and it looks like it was for credit reasons, but credit was not an issue from day 1. The have pulled credit on me so many times that now there is too many pulls.

Consumer Complaint: I have been working diligently with Nationstar Mortgage on a loan modification. I was given a loan modification but never received any documentation. I made payment in accordance with the terms in the loan modification as required and had assumed that the new loan would be implemented as stated in the agreement. Since the loan mod has been completed I expected the my credit would reflect the change. Instead Nationstar has started over again with threats to my account, has not credited my account t with the loan payments which were made with certified checks and my credit has been damaged by their errors. I believe the firm is trying to commit both credit and mortgage fraud an d I have received not one call or notice regarding the status of my loan mod or what happened to my account to put it in arrears. This is either incompetence or fraud. I need someone to act as an honest broker to address this matter because I can no longer trust the firm. I would like to have my loan modification reinstated, my payment credited to my account, and my credit score to reflect that I have made all my payments on time. The account number is # XXXX

Consumer Complaint: This is to document the activity on my loan from XXXX XXXX through XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and to document that it is the responsibility of Nationstar, not XXXX XXXX, to pay the property taxes at the XXXX XXXX resident for the payment dates of XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX, XXXX, which have heretofore not been paid, and then onward. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX sent in a third and final payment of {$2300.00} to Nationstar to complete his pre-trial modification period. Henceforth he would be paying a specific amount as outlined in the forthcoming statements. Because of Nationstar 's inconsistent business practices in the past, XXXX chose to call Nationstar on XXXX XXXX, concerned that the company could have somehow overlooked its agreed-upon responsibility to cover the property taxes due on that date. XXXX was first told the taxes had not been paid by one representative, but then was reassured by loan specialist XXXX XXXX that " the taxes would be paid and you do n't have to worry about any late fees or penalties because Nationstar would cover those. '' A XXXX XXXX mortgage statement noted that the new mortgage amount XXXX would be paying equaled {$1700.00}, starting XXXX XXXX and on into the future. To confirm this, XXXX called Nationstar on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and spoke to representative XXXX XXXX, with XXXX listening in. XXXX told both parties he wanted confirmation, which he received from XXXX : " Yes, that is the mortgage amount. '' For six months - from XXXX XXXX through XXXX XXXX - XXXX faithfully by due date paid {$1700.00} as requested in payment documentation sent to his home, and the figure that appeared on the online payment system. In early XXXX XXXX XXXX received a letter from the Tax Assessors office claiming that he had been delinquent in his XXXX and XXXX property tax payments. Upset, XXXX called XXXX immediately and left two messages before speaking directly with her on XXXX XXXX. On that call, XXXX acknowledged that Nationstar was in error and had not collected the mortgage amount to cover the property taxes ( though they had collected enough to cover the home insurance ). Though XXXX apologized for the error, this does not cover the unlawful break of an agreement with a customer. A letter dated XXXX XXXX from Nationstar claims XXXX owes {$5000.00} for XXXX installments of property taxes, and is requested to send Nationstar some form of proof that he has made the payment. On a call XXXX XXXX XXXX acknowledged Nationstar 's delay and that she needed more time to look into the situation. She requested XXXX be patient and hold off on contacting the California Financial Protection Bureau, which XXXX had earlier said he would contact if resolution was not timely or agreeable. She acknowledged that it had been XXXX weeks since calling. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX left a voicemail but did n't give details. A returned call back on this date netted no answer and no return call. There has been no return call through Friday, XXXX XXXX, giving XXXX no clarity on whether property taxes have been paid or not. For the XXXX mortgage statement, Nationstar claimed a mistake and charged an extra {$3.00} to cover its own error, revealing yet another miscalculation on the company 's part. Even though the figure was not what XXXX had paid through six months, on XXXX XXXX, XXXX faithfully paid the amount noted on the online system and on the payment stub : {$1700.00}.
