Consumer Complaint: . On XX/XX/2016 we spoke to agent XXXX to make requested and future payments to bring account current after a very lengthy dispute. This is my 3RD complaint sending to Nationstar Mortgage for 3 different issues. I find this company negligent and incompetent. My concern is during the phone payment it was clearly understood to use the unapplied funds and additional payment using XXXX checking account. In addition the XXXX and XXXX payment was scheduled during the same phone call. In the past there was a XXXX account use however I made it clearly to not use that account. During the phone transaction the representative ( XXXX ) took the banking information for XXXX and repeated the information however somehow she was negligent and entered the wrong information into the system. The next day we notice a transaction use to the XXXX account and this was not authorized to use this account. Now that account is not in good standing in result of that particular transaction and as of XX/XX/XXXX, the XXXX account has continued to accrue overdraft fees do to this transaction from Nationstar Mortgage. On XX/XX/XXXX, we spoke to another representative ( XX/XX/XXXX ) ID # XXXX as quality recorded service. We called in concern of why was this payment applied to the XXXX account. The answer was because she had put the incorrect information in so they just use the account on file. I am totally confused with that. It could have clearly been resolve with a simple phone call to make correction however because of that error my account has been in default for 6 days as of above Date. In addition it was noted that XXXX and XXXX payment was applied to XXXX account I found this extremely odd that the same conversation and the 1st transaction done was incorrectly and the other 2 payments was applied by the requested bank account.

Consumer Complaint: This company calls me at my job every month to remind me to pay my mortgage. I have never been late. This company just bought my mortgage recently from XXXX. I consider this harassment especially if the payment is not late and calling me at my place of work. I do not need a reminder to pay my debts.

Consumer Complaint: I had a rental/income property that NationStar foreclosed on because they refused to work the the Real Estate agent. He filed all the papers and had a buyer. Because NS dragged their feet and continued to ask for the same information over and over again, the buyer backed out. Agent than asked NS for an extension for find another buyer, they refused and foreclosed on the building. My problem is that on the XXXX under fair market value they inflated the number. Properties in the area are no where near what they have indicated on the XXXX. I have repeatedly called them to get this corrected, but with no success. I have been given the name of someone who is supposed to be researching this but I have called her twice within the past weeks and she has not responded. Additionally, they told me that the number under fair market value is the number they felt was a good bid for the property. They also added fees to this number. 'They got no bid close to that. They then foreclosed on the building without giving us a chance to find another buyer. I even said I would give them the keys and deed, they declined. Can you help me? This inflated number is affecting what I have to pay the IRS and my social security benefits because they are now taking more out of my check.

Consumer Complaint: Approximately 5 years ago I was approved for a loan modification through the making home homes affordable program, the mortgage principal was reduced and a forbearance applied for the remainder of the balance along with a reduction to the APR. Yesterday I received XXXX letters from Nationstar Bank offering me the opportunity to refinance my current mortgage {$180000.00}. I have received multiple letters in the past which I have responded by calling them. I spend 1/2 hour or more explaining my mortgage to them including that I have a forbearance and questioned if I really do qualify or not. At that point the mortgage consultant reviews my account and tells me " no '' you do n't qualify as you still owe more than the home is worth. I feel that the practice of sending multiple communication enticing someone with the hopes of reducing their mortgage is unfair and deceptive. I would assume that Nationstars system has the functionality to identify accounts that have a forbearance and not get hopes up that the payoff amount is a significant amount more than the letter states. I asked to be opted out of any further solicitations which include emails going forward.

Consumer Complaint: I received a mortgage through XXXX XXXX, XXXX. and then transferred to XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX by XXXX stated on The Deed of Trust and Adjustable Rate Note, and M.E.R.S as the beneficiary under this security instrument. The Note and Deed have me with and Adjustable Rate Note ( MTA-Twelve-month interest - Payment caps ) with a Prepayment penalty amendment. The Prepayment Penalty Amendment on my Adjustable Rate Note has a forged signature. I have attached a side by side picture of the Deed and Note. The Deed states XXXX as the owner of the Deed and therefore XXXX and or XXXX do n't have the right to sell my house. The company that originated the loan, was charged with felony loan fraud and are all in prison. I was called as a witness for the Federal Governments Defender ; as one of my loans was in their evidence of fraud. I have seen another fraudulent signature personally, my best friend was charged in the same trial, her husband worked at the company. She asked me to look at a signature on my loan application file and it was n't mine, someone else had signed part of the loan application documents. I met my lender, through her ex-husband. He knew I was just widowed, with a baby. My husband was military and was XXXX and I had just gotten his life insurance. I feel I was taken advantage of. The bank stated that my last modification application was rejected for insufficient income. They admitted that they had made a mistake in that modification by miscalculating my income in their statement. Their new calculation was still inaccurate by thousands of dollars. My income in which I submitted proof of, from various government agency 's : The Veterans Affairs Department, The Dept. of Defense financial services, Social Security and others documents showing the receipt of my income of around {$6000.00} per month. I was told they were looking into it and would contact me. Shortly after they sold my house. I was not notified of the sale or the sale date of the XXXX of XXXX. I learnt from advertising mail of a list of actions against my house. My first notice from the bank on the sale of my house was the eviction notice. I never received the notice of sale that XXXX submitted, stating postponement to the XXXX of XXXX. It was n't posted on my house or sent certified like all the previous times. They would serve a notice of sale, then postpone it. They never mailed me about the postponement, I was always told over the phone. When modifications were denied due to lack of paperwork or a mistake, it would have to be redone and the long process would assume continue for years. You can see the pattern on the list of auction actions. The Bank then postponed it again on the XXXX and then sold it to themselves the same day. The legal name of company listed as the Plaintiff in this case, and XXXX Loans ending in XXXX is also listed on the roster of lenders that did fraudulent mortgages, the exact same name and year of my loan origination. The documents from the lender provides the year of loan origination, matching exactly the reference in the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX had my loan after XXXX and then XXXX had it after that. They have been servicing my loan and using misleading actions to illegally sell my house to Deutsche Bank. My Deed of Trust stated my original loan amount as {$630000.00}, the amount alleged owed as to this action is over {>= $1,000,000}. I have suffered extreme emotional distress as to the constant fluctuating of security in my life, I take medication every day for extreme anxiety.I have a developmentally XXXX daughter and the fear of having to leave the only home she 's know has irrevocably and negatively affected my standard of living and ability to live a normal happy life.

Consumer Complaint: NationStar Mortgage Co who is the servicer of my mortgage owned by XXXX XXXX made unauthorized Hard Credit Inquires into both XXXX and XXXX credit bureaus. This occurred on XXXX when having a general conversation with an individual at NationStar about possibly refinancing my current mortgage. Not only did he access my credit report, but also accessed my wife 's. The detail of our conversation was completely recorded and I was adamant about not accessing credit info and did not provide SSN or any other info authorizing the pulling of credit detail. I have provided a detail faxed containing all of the pertinent info and talked to many different individuals at NationStar. The various individuals that I 've talked to at NationStar listen and promise to call me back, but never do. I am very concerned because both mine and my wife 's credit scores were lowered 5-7 points and this will remain for 2 years on the respective reports. My requests was to remove these Hard Inquires from the respective credit bureaus for both my wife and I. information and

Consumer Complaint: I refinanced in XX/XX/XXXX No payment in XX/XX/XXXX. My payments from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX was {$930.00}. THEN I received a Annual Escrow report that said my payment for XX/XX/XXXX would start {$900.00}, I paid that amount ALL through XX/XX/XXXX. I THEN received a NEW Annual Escrow report that says my payment starting XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX will be {$950.00} ( which is HIGHER then my refinance agreement WITHOUT my Insurance OR Taxes going up )?? When I called to ask them WHY it was going up, I had talked to like XXXX different people that could n't give me an answer. I finally talked to a supervisor that said it was because my PMI went up and sent me then to a PMI XXXX, XXXX notes will be attached of the people that I talked with ). I was then told that my PMI was paid BY them during XX/XX/XXXX and now I had to pay them back for XX/XX/XXXX and also then pay monthly different for XX/XX/XXXX. My insurance and taxes DID NOT raise, they said that the know that and it was all due to PMI. They told me if I did n't like it to file a complaint with you guys. I talked to a few different Mortgage brokers and THEY ALL told me the same thing, " that my PMI CAN NOT go up. '' because of a RESPA guidelines. They could not believe that Nationstar was so rude to me and not helpful, and then told me to file a complaint with you guys. Please help me figure this out and fix it so that they do not continue to try to do this kind of wrong with others. I have all kinds of documents that will be attached to this complaint to hopefully help someone figure out an answer for me.

Consumer Complaint: back in XX/XX/XXXX I was shopping around for a bank to do a refi, im in a fha 30 year at 4.25, several banks gave me quotes, i also called nationstar mortgage because they have my mortgage presently.i told them about my other offers and they said they can match it, but I should choose them for a few reasons, ,since they took over my mortgage from XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX I have paid an additional XXXX dollars towards the principal and their the only one that can use these records to expidite the loan process also since I 'm an existing customer they will give me XXXX towards closing, also since they hold my mortgage they can get the cema program to make sure I do n't have to pay the transfer tax twice done quicker than anyone else, within 1 week I gave them everything they requested and needed, after 60 days they started to charge me for a rate extention, i question this charge because they were not asking me for any info but did not know what was the delay, i got the rep to send me an email saying that they would go over the fees once I have a closing date to make adjusments, then the comunition stalled, i kept calling and emailing as to what was going on, I sent emails begging for someone to get back to me, i spoke to 2 supervisors to no answers, they kept asking for info that they already had, after 100 days I kept calling and texting and finally on XX/XX/XXXX I got an email that said we were good and it at underwriting,2 weeks went by with me calling and emailing with no responcefinally last XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX I called and demanded to speak to a supervisor, I told them I was going to submit a complaint to c f p b, and a supervisor got on the phone after about 2.5 hours of me being transferred and having to explain to everyone over and over only to be transferred again.the supervisor finally told me that my application was cancelled on XX/XX/XXXX, i told him that was impossible I have every email and phone logs that no one reached out to me, i asked why was the application cancelled, he started to explain, he gave me four reasons and I explained to him after each one that I have emails to dispute that, then he said, he, XXXX not really sure why, he was not handling my case.after 4 months they took away my opportunity to go elsewhere, they led me on for months, they ran my credit, which reduced my score, told me not to use or apply or make big purchases, so my life was on hold for 4 months, i continue to pay the interest at 4.25 when I could have gone to another bank and got the refi, now the rates are a lot higher, the offered me a 2.75 fixed, I have a credit score of XXXX, i have a multi family which I supplied them the lease for, i have another tenant at this property which was noted in their appraisel with pics, i have XXXX in my checking account, i have another piece of property which I rent out for XXXX a month, this property I own with no mortgage, this also I sent to them lease, i gave them several weeks of paystubs with 2 years of tax returns, i was completely taken advantage of, i feel as if they regret the original agent making me this offer to match and they did not know how to tell me that financially this was not a good deal for them, i started calling other banks and now the rates for a 15 year refi are at 3.75,3.5, etc, please I do n't think they should be allowed to treat coustomers like this, I have every email and correspondence between me and nationstar with phone logs to show what I have stated.they should not be allowed to treat people like this, now I 'm left to start all over having wasted 4 months and now I cant get a good rate because of what going on with economy, i make about XXXX a year, i was and still am the perfect candidate for a refi, please help me, dont let them do people like this with no recorse.the worst coustomer service and still no reason for why it was taking so long or why I was denied
