Consumer Complaint: I owned property in XXXX, XXXX ( I live in XXXX ) that was declared it in my bankruptcy discharged XX/XX/XXXX. The property was not officially foreclosed and sold until XX/XX/XXXX to The New York Bank Of Mellon. The only way I found out this information was when I tried to purchase property XX/XX/XXXX and the underwriter found my name on the property. They informed me that I would not be able to get a loan until 3 years after the foreclosure " sold date ''. I waited the 3 years ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and now am told the attorney ( acting as title company ) never deeded the property to The Bank of New York Mellon, and it still was in my name up until XX/XX/XXXX. I am currently trying to purchase property and the mortgage professionals are stating that the date they use for the 3 year starting date is now XX/XX/XXXX XXXX the date the title was taken out of my name ) NOT the foreclosure sale date of XX/XX/XXXX as originally stated.

Consumer Complaint: Loan # XXXX Property : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, WA XXXX This is an addition to Complaint/Case # XXXX despite repeated payment of my Mortgage due on XX/XX/XXXX, Nationstar Mortgage returned the payment without any reason. First off, I have been hospitalized since XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Consequently, I am not in the US. I am in XXXX. The address of my family is the following : XXXX. XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX Tel : XXXX XXXX XXXX. Now, Nationstar Mortgage has absolutely no reason to refuse the monthly payment. I am XXXX Veteran. My ONLY source of income is my VA XXXX and an allowance from the Social Security Administration. I became eligible and approved for a Permanent HAMP-Making Home Affordable Program. Consequently, the amount due/Mortgage Payment is PERMANENT for a period of six years, providing that I do not miss any payments. This is exactly what Nationstar Mortgage is trying to achieve, by refusing the monthly payment Nationstar Mortgage has made repeated attempts claiming that I have missed payments, because this will automatically cause me to lose this Permanent HAMP Program. However, the XXXX immediately sent Nationstar Mortgage Bank Statements clearly indicating that absolutely no monthly payment was missing. All payments are automatically sent on a recurring basis. Nationstar continued their extremely aggressive campaign of calling my house several times during the day and night-repeatedly, non-stop with claims of missed payment. In XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email and phone calls that my house was broken into. XXXX, I flew home. However, I XXXX had to be rushed back to the hospital. Once more, I have a permanent HAMP Loan. Nationstar Mortgage can not increase the Loan or refuse Payment. XXXX, and XXXX willing, I am hoping to be back in the US in XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/2017. Nationstar Mortgage has a history of repeatedly trying to force Foreclosure Proceedings, claiming that monthly payments were missing. This is the fourth time that I have filed a grievance or complaint, and they simply ignore the complaint, and after a while, they start the harassment all over again. I am XXXX Veteran, XXXX years old, very sick and unemployable. I can not afford an Attorney. Please, please help me to end this terribly nightmare. You must insist that they reply to this complaint. They have failed to reply to all of the other complaints made. This XXXX has caused serious setbacks, XXXX. If this keeps up, it will eventually XXXX. Please, XXXX help me.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I went to pay my mortgage as usual as I have done since XX/XX/XXXX when the payments were made to XXXX. I now pay it on line at the Nationstar Mortgage site. I selected the Nationstar shortcut from my list of shortcuts but it took me to a page stating the " page could not be found. '' I then went directly to their site after searching for it on google. I opened up the site and signed in. I was then greeted with a demand to " verify '' my account. The way to do this is to enter your zip code, and then your social security number. I have issue with this in the times when XXXX, and many other websites have been hacked and the information breached. I have always paid on time and in the manner I have become accustomed to, on line. I have an account number which is the only number that should be necessary to make a payment. My SS # is private and can cause extreme damage to my credit and personal well being in the wrong hands. I do not believe it should be associated with my mortgage account, and certainly should not be requested to be submitted on line. I have presented my SS # to a possible creditor for a one time background and credit check as should be expected. But I do not want my mortgage account to be identified by the SS #. That is why I have an account number, is n't it? There is no way to make a payment or to get to customer service without first entering the zip code and then the SS #. This has the potential to cost me money in late fees and may have purposely been set up to do so. Messages left have produced no return calls.

Consequently, he requested XXXX directly from XXXX. The valuation determined by XXXX is {$320000.00}. The XXXX, submitted a Valuation Dispute and submitted a XXXX from an independent party. The XXXX was {$280000.00}. Current offer is for {$270000.00}. The foreclosure sale date is scheduled on XX/XX/2017. XXXX has requested a postponement of the sale to allow time to review valuation dispute. To complicate matters the property is listed on XXXX for {$200000.00} as an opening bid. XXXX has asked the lender to remove the XXXX listing since it conveys to public that the property can be bought for this amount. Meanwhile, the XXXX as the property listed for {$290000.00}.

Consumer Complaint: LOAN # XXXX XXXX WA XXXX Good Afternoon, my name is XXXX, I am XXXX Veteran. On XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted by Mortgage Payment to Nationstar Mortgage-XXXX TX XXXX. A few weeks later, I received an email from the Bank informing me that Nationstar had returned by monthly payment. I resubmitted the payment and within a few days, it was returned-without any letter or explanation. I am presently in XXXX, undergoing a long term XXXX, and despite various request to find out why my payment was returned, I have been unsuccessful. Nationstar Mortgage has repeatedly tried to start Foreclosure Proceedings by claiming that I have missed various payments. However, the XXXX was quickly able to send a Statement to Nationstar-clearly listing all payments made. I have add extremely difficult problems with Nationstar. In XX/XX/XXXX, I was forced by the XXXX to accept the Sellers price of {$300000.00} for a house that was only worth {$140000.00}. The monthly payments were {$2400.00}, and since my only source of income was my VA XXXX, I had difficulty making the payments. I borrowed money, and paid a Lawyer {$2000.00} and obtained a Loan Modification. Since I am XXXX and unemployable, by rate was significantly reduced, and I started making payments to another lender. However, they wasted no time in increasing the rate, and makin/g sending threatening letters of Foreclosure. I sought assistance, and my Interest RAtes and Paymetns were made permanent. A few years later without informing me, My Loan was sold to Nationstar Mortgage for {$320000.00}. This was illegal, however, since I am poor, XXXX and very sick, I could not afford a lawyer. Nationstar started an aggressive campaign with threaths of Foreclosure and repeated demands to increase the monthly payments. There threaths did not work, but they kept harrassing me, making claims that payments were missed. I suffered a XXXX, that lead to a XXXX. I became very sick. In XX/XX/XXXX, with only XXXX- ( told by VA doctors ), I received money for a Flight to XXXX XXXX and began a XXXX. I have been hospitalized since XX/XX/XXXX, and I am undergoing the last phase of the treatment. However, after getting news of the refusal of the Mortgage payment, I suffered a serious setback, and underwent XXXX. Since I am XXXX, my XXXX, and the acid is eaten away at what is left. Despite the fact that Nationstar Mortgage knows that XXXX-XXXX, and XXXX XXXX has the power of Attorney, they will not speak to them. They are denying the monthly payment without any explanation. I have never missed any payments, I have not signed or agreed to any Refinance Agreements, or any rate increase. My payments/RAte is permanent. I am here in XXXX, in the hospital XXXX-XXXX.I do not have any documents, or anything with me. I am very, very sick, and will not be released- ( Providing that I am able to eat-and the XXXX is kept under control ), until possibly XX/XX/XXXX. Please, please help me. Rather than laying in bed at home-XXXX, I sought help. The VA Hospital has not helped. Several of my friends- VA XXXX Veterans has either committed suicide, of died because of the lack of treatment at the VA. My only source of income is my VA XXXX Compensation and my SSI allowance. I owe the Hospital for the treatments since XX/XX/XXXX, well over XXXX. Nationstar has absolutely no right to refuse the monthly payment. They have been extremely dishonest, and aggressive. Consumer Complaint: Our property consists of XXXX lots : XXXX and XXXX. We are taxed at the county and town levels. Nationstar paid the county and town taxes on lot XXXX but not XXXX. I have been calling them since XX/XX/XXXX but this issue is still not resolved. I have faxed in the tax bills to the number listed online but when I speak to a representative they have no record of lot XXXX nor the tax bills. After each call the representative says they will get back to me. They have n't. When I ask by name for a person I previously spoke to the new representative seems to have never heard of the former person. I will soon be receiving a notice from the county and town for failure to pay taxes.

Consumer Complaint: So, I get back from 6 years in the XXXX. Before that I spent 6 Years as a XXXX. Although I am no longer on XXXX, and from this point forward I will be addressed as such and that will show me, and well demonstrate your respect for my service to you and our Country. Recently, XXXX XXXX 2016 my Mortgage was sold from XXXX to Nationstar Motgage. Nationstar, apparently, by some unknown method obtained a debit writing from XXXX and fraudulently used that debit writing to portray to my bank that I had given authorization to Nationstar Mortgage to withdraw ACH Electronic funds from my bank account. Nationstar did this 5 times even though I called them and asked them to stop. The only way I could get Nationstar to stop was to make written complaint at my bank and stop them by electronic means. I called Nationstar, to ask them why they were taking electronic funds when the Note is very specific about the 3 forms of acceptable payments and ACH Electronic debit transfers is not one of the 3 forms of acceptable payments. I told Nationstar that if they would send me something in writing, that they would accept the ACH transfer in lieu of the acceptable forms of payment ( cash, check, or money order ) and there would be no back charges of any kind, I would allow them to continue to debit the account electronically, but Nationstar refused. As I looked over my note, I noticed that there was a problem with the Borrowers Covenant, so I sent Letter and E-mail, No response - No action. I sent complaint Letters, request letters, and demand letters only to receive a computer generated letter response that promised some response at some future date. When I call Nationstar no one there can answer my questions, not supervisors, not the Customer relations personnel, nay, not one person there can answer even the most basic question. I have asked them for a payment coupon with my statement so I can from time to time make extra payments, but no, even after months, no payment coupon. I have to go searching for numbers and past invoices to get address to post the check. Because of all of this, when I am in honor, with my loan, never late, paying ahead, much more equity in the property than debt ; I do feel something crooked is going on here. I feel that Nationstar is acting in Bad Faith ( with cause for action ), trying to dispossess me of my estate to realize the extra gain of profits, instead of sending me a statement with payment coupon so I can pay monthly, on time, as I have always done. I have tried to work with these people, but they have no honor. They refuse to honor my service by addressing me by my well earned and given title of XXXX. They refuse to answer any of my questions, save 1, they did give me one answer, but I have asked many questions without response. I expect better, I deserve better, and I will receive better treatment. I have a RIGHT to expect better and I will enforce that RIGHT to the full extent the Law will allow. Respectfully, XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I had been having problems paying my mortgage due to a job loss a few years back, then was going through a divorce. My mortgage was with XXXX until late XXXX, then was sold to Nationstar Mortgage whom i had never heard of. Applied for several modifications, I was denied every time. My wife and I reconciled, but I was too far behind to save the home. Eventually the foreclosure process started, which was fine, decided to short sale the home as it was better than a foreclosure on my credit also, was told would be able to get relocation fees to help me move my family to another residence. Well we started the short sale process in XX/XX/XXXX, had to go to court numerous times, due to Nationstar not communicating about anything with their own attorneys missing days of work, without pay, due to the fact that the equator system and it 's reviewers were always months and months behind. In late XX/XX/XXXX the furnace gave out and we did not have the funds to replace it as it was approx. $ XXXX {$4000.00} to replace. We found an apartment, and borrowed from friends and family to be able to move in in XX/XX/XXXX. Had several buyers on several different occasions for the property however, because of the " backlog '' with equator and XXXX, none of them wanted to wait it out. Finally had a buyer that was willing to wait it out, and it is now time to submit the HUD, XXXX will not give any sort of relocation fee whatsoever. All paperwork received regarding foreclosure alternatives from XXXX states an advantage to their short sale program is relocation fees, my realtor has been submitting over and over, per Nationstar Mortgage 's advice to keep the relocation fee on the final closing paperwork. Fast forward to today XX/XX/XXXX, still no closing date, and its a year and a half later. XXXX is nothing but bullies, they do whatever they want regardless of what they have printed in black and white, there is an excuse for everything, I am most definitely having every piece of paper I have from Nationstar as well as XXXX looked over by an attorney, I am not going to be bullied by them like a lot of other people are, it 's time the gov't does something to protect the people!!!! HAD I KNOWN THEY WERE SUCH BULLIES AND HYPOCRITES I WOULDVE FILED BANKRUPTCY AND LEFT THEM WITH NOTHNING!!!!!!!

Consumer Complaint: i have XXXX issues with Nationstar mortgage, first is I requested payoff amounts on multiple occasions beg. XX/XX/XXXX, never received one, i was told it was emailed to me but they had the wrong e mail address and would send it again, which i never got, at that point it was already XX/XX/XXXX, so i am anticipating paying this off and believing amount would be retroactive to request date, my interest alone was XXXX a month, by XX/XX/XXXX i still have n't gotten the amount and I did n't receive a XX/XX/XXXX statement so I i send them the stated statement balance of XXXX, I start receiving calls from the loss mitigation dept threatening me with foreclosure! for non payment!!, they deny they have my bank check, and at one point they hung up on me, that was on XX/XX/XXXX a follow up call with someone and they said the check was received XX/XX/XXXX and was never deposited or applied to my acct, I spoke with loss mitigation again asking how they could threaten me with foreclosure when they have a bank check for {$150000.00}, they threatened and said i could either pay or they would send the check back and start foreclosure, I knew there would be additional fees for paying off i did n't feel i should have to pay the additional 3 months interest, close to XXXX for their incompetence to give me a payoff amt. To finally get it over with I pay whatever they say is due, which was also XXXX different amounts when i spoke with XXXX different people, and decide to move on. # 2 problem arises the following XX/XX/XXXX the when i lease a new vehicle and I 'm told the only blemish on my credit is Nationstar mortgage for late payments!!!, late payments for the three months i was TRYING to pay my mortgage off # 3 problem is as of today I have still not received a lien release to obtain clear title for my home this whole situation with them has been a nightmare they are one of the most unprofessional, incompetent and disorganized financial companies I have ever dealt with and I had a good payment history with them and when the mortgage was held by XXXX XXXX XXXX, I do not feel it was justified I pay the additional 3 months interest for their incompetence and inability to give me a payoff amt. promptly when requested, I did n't even receive a XX/XX/XXXX statement! I 've never heard of such a thing, so at this point i do not know how to get these problems solved I had been in contact with the NYS Banking Dept but that was a waste of time.

Consumer Complaint: I am a XXXX veteran of the XXXX on a fixed income. I proudly served my country as a XXXX, and was able to take advantage of the government VA loan program to purchase my home in 1998. I am contacting you to file a complaint against my current mortgage company Nationstar, who is pushing me into foreclosure. The problem started when the loan ( which was originally with XXXX ) went to XXXX XXXX XXXX after XXXX went out of business. I had an affordable payment and escrow set up and had no problems. However, after XXXX got involved they decided that they had to have their own insurance on the loan which was much more expensive. They essentially made me switch to their force placed insurance. Being on fixed income this created a problem for me. I hung on for quite some time and tried to get XXXX to accept my insurance but they refused ; it did not make any sense because that insurance had been fine for over 10 years. It seemed like XXXX XXXX XXXX was getting a kickback or something by pushing me to change. Eventually the well was dry and I started missing mortgage payments and the loan went to Nationstar. I have been trying to get Nationstar to review me for help. They told me that they could not help me because my income was just a little short. So I decided we would rent out a room in our house in order to qualify for help with this loan. I have since been trying to get Nationstar to take a look at our current financial situation but have not made any progress. They do not seem interested in helping me, I talk to a different person every time and nothing has happened since I told them that I have a higher income. It seems to me that they are more interested in foreclosure instead of trying to work this out with me. I feel that I deserve better, and I know that there are government programs set up to assist vets with VA loans and I believe I qualify but Nationstar is not giving me a chance.
