Consumer Complaint: After receipt of notification of collection* action the by collection agency ( National Credit Systems ) We responded in writing ( ( XX/XX/XXXX ) disputing the {$400.00} debt and requesting proof/details of same. XXXX did not respond but notified us that they would report the debt to " one or more credit reporting agencies ''. When the collection notice appeared on our reports ( XXXX and XXXX ) I notified them that the debt was disputed and they added the note to our report that it was disputed. I further wrote XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX of their failure to provide the requested proof or to remove the claim. They further responded only with collection invoices and calls and no details.. The collection account still remains on our credit reports and has adversely affected our credit scores and record. *XXXX XXXX # XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, the initiator of the collection account tried to bill XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card Iin XXXX of XXXX and that was disputed with XXXX XXXX as well. XXXX XXXX investigated the dispute and after a period of several months could not get a response from XXXX and permanently credited her account. XXXX XXXX XXXX never directly sent us an invoice or letter regarding the debt.

Consumer Complaint: My debt was purchased by National Credit Systems from my former apartment complex XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I left XXXX XXXX apartment complex, I was on a month-to-month lease and had a non-refundable security deposit that was used for cleaning and minor fixes. I paid my final month 's rent and asked the property manager if there was anything else that needed to be settled before I moved out and she confirmed that I was in the clear. I did not get any notice about this debt until a year after I had already moved out and it was not from Avenue, it was from the collections agency. My apartment was riddled with mold for several months, the apartment management knew this and neglected to inform me- I didnt learn about it until 2 months after they knew, and I only found out because my downstairs neighbor was talking about it. I do not owe them any amount of money and I have seen the criminal things they've continued to do to other residents since I've moved out ( it was on the local news ).

I simply went in to apply for an apartment now months later I have a inquiry on my credit saying I owe {$1500.00} dollars!! Consumer Complaint: I got a notice from my credit union saying that I owed for past rent, and I had a new collections on my record. I tried calling and proving I was taken off the lease in XXXX, but they want me to show a roommate release form I do not have. I do have a copy of the next lease offer from the management company with my named removed. They also sent me the statement they received from the management showing they tried to collect from the people that owed the expense and a letter they sent for collections and my name is not even on it. She says she will not remove it from my credit report unless I prove I was taken off the lease. I have not lived there for 5 years and this is from XXXX of this year. I can prove I was not there, as I went from there to the XXXX XXXX for 27 months and moved across the country when I returned from there. The ledger they sent also shows it was paid in full the month I moved out. The management clearly knew we were gone when they made the new lease offer as we were not on it, but the collections company clearly is scamming me to pay it because they can not get the money from the people that really owe it. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 National Credit Systems , Inc agency sent me a letter in the mail, seeking an unvalidated and incorrect amount on the behalf of their client - XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The letter did not contain any itemization of the bill. The letter also did not include the section on my right to dispute or to verify it. Moreover, the letter only contained the phone number and a threat of reporting the debt to major credit bureaus. The debt has already been reported to all credit bureaus two months prior the letter was sent to me. There are already three instances of false information from this collection agency. Moreover, the agency is not updating the payments that I made to the original creditor, and continues to falsely represent it to the major credit bureaus.
