Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems are attempting to collect a debt by XXXX XXXX XXXX that is inaccurate. They are using a copy of an inaccurate rent ledger from the original creditor to report this collection as accurate when I have provided them with rent receipts that consist of copies of my money orders and a check from a rent relief program. Eviction was filed on me XXXX XXXX for the amount of XXXX due to an inaccuracy in the leasing office records which I attempted to resolve with the property manager XXXX XXXX and district manager XXXX XXXX with my rent receipts. The issue did go to court in which I acknowledged rent had been paid accordingly except for the month of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and the attorney told the judge that they didnt want to discuss the outstanding rent but wanted me to move. In which I was ordered to move within a week. Months later this balance was reported and a copy of this inaccurate rent ledger was mailed to me from a law firm on National Credit System behalf.

I attached letters to let you know more in detail about what they are reporting in my credit report. I never had a contractual relationship with NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS company I believe the original creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sold my account without proper notification. This is clearly violation according to FCRA 611 on reporting inaccurate on my credit report. Please delete this account immediately because you are reporting inaccurately.

Consumer Complaint: I was contacted by a company named National Credit System. They explained that they reported a collection on my credit report because I owed a debt to a property named The Strand, in XXXX, Fl, that I previously resided at, and that I now owed National Credit System a sum of {$330.00} due to me submitting my 60 days notice of not renewing my lease, in less than 60 days of me leaving. I then reached out to The Strand due to me not having knowledge of this sum being outstanding via email, on XX/XX/. The Strand did their research and corrected the amount due to actually {$220.00} via email communication XX/XX/, and directed me to pay them directly via certified funds, i.e. Money Order or Cashier 's Check ( I have physical copies of each communication between myself and the Strand property ). Since then I have placed in numerous disputes with the specific collections amount via XXXX, and each time National Credit System has argued that I owe them directly and that my credit report will reflect this due amount. During these disputes, I had given National Credit System ample amount of time for them research this dispute and contact The Strand to rectify their records but National Credit System has sought to continue to report erroneous and inaccurate information onto my credit report, as an act of fraudulent extortion. This has effected my credit score negatively and causing me to lose XXXX points.

Consumer Complaint: After going over the validation letter There is nothing on there that i owe union flats. The rent on there says potential which means its what would be owed had I not moved out which there was a mutual agreement between site manager XXXX regional manager XXXX XXXX and my section 8 worker XXXX XXXX for me to break my lease. Also in the letter it speaks about the carpet cleaning in the lease states that we can clean it or allow union flats to clean it and deduct it from the deposit. I lived there 2 and a half year and there was no damage to the walls, I didnt have small children and anytime i may have made a spot i would clean immediately so no reason to paint. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in it which if replaced it would have come from my deposit being that i never received my deposit back nor was i awear of these charges, Ive not been there for two years. I sent a copy of the email to national credit system collection with the move out information. After a month of this company saying they did not receive my letter I finally got someone that said it was there in my file which was XXXX XXXX. After going over everything with XXXX XXXX she informed my that the attorneys are saying they contacted union flats who stated i chose not to accept there offer. I explained to XXXX XXXX i was the one who initiated the move out so there's no way they spoke to anyone at union flats because they would have seen the corresponding email between myself the site manager the regional manager and section 8 worker. Had i not gotten permission to break my lease from all involved and moved anyway I would have been kicked off the housing program. Still I was informed that the collection will stay on my credit report until paid or a payment arrangement was made. I was also informed that they would make it hard for me to rent anywhere else or establish credit with anyone as the negative mark will remain.

Consumer Complaint: Im reporting the Apartment ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ) by and the collection agency ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) for wrongfully charging me {$1600.00} for early termination and XXXX $ for legal fees when I have in-fact not terminated my lease. I have tried to as you will find in the emails I'm uploading as supporting documents- I believe the early termination fees is a wrong claim. I moved out on the last day of my lease XX/XX/2020. They claimed they charged the fee because I did not give a notice, but since they lied about the charge I would like them to remove the charge. The reason I couldn't give a notice is that when I called them to inform of the move out they talked me into extending my lease and offered to reverse the rent increase and I agreed, hence I couldnt have given a notice ( even though I called the office to give the notice as the email will prove ). As you will find in the email I'm sending, I was asked to come in and sign a new lease. This happened during covid and the office was closed every time I went to sign the new lease. Afterwards my car was vandalised which cost me {$850.00} in repair, neighbour pulled a XXXX, dogs without leash, the XXXX in the apartment broke for XXXX and it was not fixed until 2 days to the end of the lease ( ticket completion email was provided to collection agency ), all these and more made the apartment inhabitable, which I reported but nothing was done, so I had to move to my friends apartment at the beginning of XX/XX/2020 but I did not break the lease to avoid penalties. I moved out on the last day of my lease and returned the keys but they refused to do a walkthrough yet they charged me for various things that wasnt accurate like cleaning fridge and oven. All these happened during covid and offices were closed and everyone was on locked down per government advise to prevent spread of the virus. They filled an eviction which they withdrew when I moved out on the move out date on my lease and they charged me for the eviction fees. Also they charged me for trash that wasnt mine, I sent them a photo of the apartment when I moved. The trash was put there by their maintenance guys that had come to renovate the apartment for lease, the picture showed things like paint bucket and wood used for renovation, they agreed to remove this charge but never did. I also have a deposit which was never taken out of the balance they charged. They reported this in my credit and I have tried to dispute but they two companies are trying to frustrate me by denying responsibility and when I speak to the collection agency the agents are rude and they say the charges are valid notwithstanding the facts that there was Covid and the office was closed.

Consumer Complaint: Below is a letter that I wrote to the collection agency after they provided less than satisfactory, inaccurate and unreferenced verification of debt through the XXXX XXXX after I filed a complaint " I am writing to dispute the validity of the debt referenced in your correspondence dated XX/XX/XXXX. Upon receipt of your validation of debt through the XXXX XXXX I found the information provided to be inaccurate and in violation of my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). 1. The original contract from the creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The lease that you uploaded to the portal had expired XX/XX/XXXX, the debt that you are trying to collect from me opened on XXXX and claims that I moved out on XXXX I cant be responsible for a debt from a lease that had already been paid in full and expired 2 months prior. 2. My liability for the {$4200.00} debt. The itemized statement that you uploaded does not have my authorization anywhere on it, I'm not aware of any of the charges on it and I never had an account with the account XXXX XXXX with the original creditor. In addition to this the charges on the itemized statements have no basis. {$2500.00} in charges are referenced as other & the remaining additional charges have no reference as well. 3. Also the address that the collection agency provided to credit bureaus is inaccurate resulting in 3 letters to address my issues being returned.

Consumer Complaint: I got an apartment in my son 's name in 2019 due to me having a broken lease on my credit report because my mama died in 2019 and I had to break my lease to go and stay with my elderly dad who can not care for himself. I then found an apartment that the manager assisted me with using my son 's name to get me approved for an apartment that she was managing. She said it was okay to use someone else name to get into the apartment complex. I had been living in the apartment for years until the manager allowed a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I was very frightened. I then moved out the apartment and left a balance with the apartment complex due to me having to relocate. The XXXX of the complex refused to let me take care of the debt and turned the debt over to the NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEM in my son name. Me and my son has tried to contact the NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEM to take care of the matter and they are refusing to speak to me. Now he is having issues getting a home or apartment and it is not his fault and the manager of the complex told me it was okay to use my son name to get the apartment.

Consumer Complaint: I resided at the said residence in complaint. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX GA XXXX. From XX/XX/XXXXXXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. I tried in XXXX of XXXX to pay my rent through the portal as was done previously. I was unable to do so. So i went in to the office to find out why i couldn't pay my rent through the portal and at that time i was informed on XXXX XXXX that the management had changed hands. I was aso informed at said time that the rent was increase to an amount that I was not able to pay. I proceeded to let them know that I did not intend to renew my lease and that I would be vacating said premises on or before the term end which was XX/XX/XXXX. I was only given 15 days to either pay the increased amount or vacate. I chose to vacate because the abmountl they increases it to was out of myl reach. I personally took my letter to vacate to the office and handed it to the person in charge. I gave them my forwarding address so they can forward my deposit which they did not do. I moved and was gone for almost two years and did not receive any notice or claims from them until I tried to move closer to my job. That is when I found out that the laid these charges against my name on my credit file. I have all my receipts and I never signed a lease agreement with this company in question ( XXXX XXXX ) I would like for them to please remove such negative remarks from my credit report because I never did business with them. I would also ask for them to please return deposits owed to me by the previous company the took the business over from. I have my documents to show if. It is needed.
