Consumer Complaint: At the end of XX/XX/XXXX, I began to experience mold in my apartment. I took pictures of the areas in my apartment that had mold, mold was present in and on the vents and walls. There was also a thick musk smell through out the apartment. I contacted the Leasing office at XXXX at XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and let them know I had mold in my apartment and I became ill. The Manager at the leasing office told me that they would send someone out. After a few days past I contacted the leasing office again about the mold because no one had came to my apartment. Again the Manager said she would send someone out to my unit. Someone finally came after XX/XX/XXXX, and replaced the vent covers, however there was still a presence of mold in the apartment and I was still ill. I left the apartment on XX/XX/XXXX and began staying with my friend. I had to pay her {$500.00} to live with her for the remaining of XX/XX/XXXX and {$700.00} for XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted the leasing office at XXXX at XXXX XXXX and informed them that there was still mold in my apartment and the manager told me I could terminate my lease early. She advised me to email them stating I will terminate my lease and state the move out date. On XXXX XXXX I agreed to terminate my lease and submitted an email stating that I was terminating my lease due to mold and my move out date would be XX/XX/XXXX. I did not agree to pay the Ascend at XXXX XXXX anything. They did not provide me an invoice stating I had to pay anything at the time of terminating my lease. I also did not sign documentation stating that I would pay anything. I was in process of finding another place of residence there was no way I could pay for a new residence, pay for my current living situation and pay XXXX at XXXX anything. Also 90 % of my belongs that I removed from the apartment had to be disposed of because there was mold on the items. I had to dispose of a new mattress, clothes, any item that had a penetrating surface. An invoice or notice of payment was never provided to me at the time of terminating my lease. The XXXX XXXX XXXX provided me an invoice of the debt on XX/XX/XXXX. However, they did not provide documentation stating that I agreed to a debt at the time of terminating my lease.

Consumer Complaint: I rented an apartment for my daughter for her senior year at XXXXXXXX XXXX. I signed a 1 year lease from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. My daughter graduated in XX/XX/XXXX and I notified " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX '' that I would not be renewing the lease come XX/XX/XXXX. Mind, during the time their were a couple of months were I was late on the rental payment and the XXXX reached out if I was a day late and until I learned how to use their payment portal, I paid over the phone with a credit card. We cleaned out the apartment over the summer of XXXX and come the end of XXXX, turned in the apartment keys to the onsite management office. A year goes by and I start getting collection calls and letters from National Credit Systems , Inc. stating that we owe {$3800.00}??? ( Client Acct # XXXX and NCS Acct XXXX XXXX? ) XXXX XXXX ( landlord ) never reached out to me saying that I owed that money! They were real quick in contacting me during the year my daughter was there if I was late on the rent but no reach out after we left. They should have sued me and I would have met them in court! This is now on my credit report!!! Is there anything that can be done to resolve this?

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to seek your assistance and intervention regarding an ongoing issue with a collections agency, National Credit System which has been attempting to collect a debt from me that has not been adequately verified. I first became aware of this debt when I reviewed my Credit Report. However, I have not received a letter, call or notification from National Credit System.it I have not received any documentation that provides any detailed information or documentation to substantiate the validity of the debt. I promptly reached out to National Credit System Via phone in XXXX, 2023. They couldnt not provide any detailed proof of debt other than Original Creditor, Account number and date. I then reached them via email with no reply back. I proceed to reach the collection agency by sending a request for debt validation via certified mail sent on XX/XX/2023. In my letter, I requested that they provide me with the necessary documentation, such as valid proof of the alleged debt. The original creditor 's contract, and proof of their authority to collect the debt. I have called, sent emails and a certified letter with proof that I do not owe this debt. I believe this debt to be a fraud from original creditor. Despite my request, I have not received any documentation or verification from National Credit System to date. It has been 6 months since I initially contacted them, and I remain concerned about the validity of this debt. Consumers have the right to receive proper verification and documentation when dealing with collections agencies. This not only protects consumers from potential unjust collections but also ensures fair and ethical practices within the industry. I kindly request your assistance in this matter. I have requested proof of damages being reported and the reason for this collections but no proof has been provided by the collections agency or the original creditor ; other than the false accusations of landlord to collect. I have provided proof to the collections agency of the state of the premises when we left. Annual inspections were done and we always passed them. For the Final inspection the representative XXXX XXXX did not show up. She then claimed our deposit was being returned and it would reach us via mail. Months later she then sends a collections letter with false accusations. You may look into XXXX XXXX she seems to be doing this to many tenants.

Consumer Complaint: I hope this message reaches the appropriate department. I am writing out of frustration and concern regarding the recent closure of my complaints, indicating that all disputed information on my credit report is correct. I find this conclusion confusing, especially when there are evident discrepancies among the reports provided by the different credit bureaus. I am truly exhausted from attempting to articulate my concerns, and it appears that my letters are not being thoroughly reviewed. The inconsistencies among the reports from various credit bureaus are causing immense confusion and frustration on my end. I urge you to reevaluate my case with the utmost diligence and attention to detail. I am seeking a swift resolution to address the discrepancies and inaccuracies on my credit report. I believe in the importance of accurate credit reporting, and it is disheartening to experience such challenges in rectifying these issues.
