Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft. I have contacted this company XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) now in collections with ( NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEM ) numerous of times back and forth with all three credit bureaus about these accounts and got the run around. NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEM only told me, " Well its in your name and you have to pay for it ''. I explain to them it was fraud nut they wasn't trying to hear that. I provided documents to prove that this isn't my account over and over and again nothing. I feel like my accounts wasn't properly investigated. They also stated that this account was created online as well. Nothing has been done XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX will not remove the account as well.

I SUBMITTED MY LETTER TO THE APARTMENT MANAGER WHO WAS XXXX AT THAT TIME THAT I WAS MOVING OUT XX/XX/XXXX, SINCE THE SIGNING ON MY HOUSE WAS XX/XX/XXXX. I ASKED WAS THERE A BALANCE ON ANYTHING I OWED AND WAS TOLD NO I DID MY WALK THROUGH WITH THE APARTMENT MANAGER XXXX AND HANDED OVER THE KEYS. FOR A WHOLE YEAR I HEARD NOTHING I HAD GAVE HER MY UPDATED ADDRESS SO MY DEPOSIT COULD BE MAILED OUT. I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING IN THE MAIL FROM THE APARTMENT COMPLEX, FROM THE STATE ( COURT ) FOR OWING A BALANCE, HAVING AN EVICTION, NO DAMAGES OR ANYTHING FAST FORWARD TO A YEAR I HAVE A COLLECTION ON MY ACCOUNT AND SPOKE WITH THE APARTMENT COMPLEX AND THEY COULDN'T ADVISE ME NO INFORMATION.

The company has not responded to my request in 30 days with the documentation requested, which is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This account is not mine and I have no legal obligation to pay the alleged debt. Due to the violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, this account must be deleted from each of my consumer credit reports.

Consumer Complaint: I am a consumer pursuant to 15 U.S.C 1681 ( c ), you are a debt collector pursuant to 15 U.S.C 1692a ( 6 ). To my understanding all credit reporting agencies get their information from the same company sourced as the original creditor. The inaccuracies being reported are detrimental to my credit capacity, credit worthiness, and credit standing. XXXX has investigated this dispute and removed the error immediately. If all credit reporting agencies retrieve their information from the same original creditor there should be no misinformation.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX XXXX, while in the midst of refinancing my home in XXXX XXXX, Calif., I reviewed my credit report and noticed a collections charge off in the amount of {$4000.00} for an apartment complex in Georgia I have never heard of. On Monday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I contacted National Credit Systems , Inc. in XXXX, GA, the collections agency associated with this charge, to dispute the charge. The name listed on the charge is not my name, and I have never lived, worked in, or even visited Georgia. They said they would send me a fraud package to fill out. What I received was a letter dated XXXX XXXX, XXXX, informing me they had investigated my dispute and had not received information sufficient to validate it. They said their creditor had previously validated the debt as well. They enclosed a move out statement from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. In XXXX, XXXX, with detailed costs totaling {$4000.00}. At this point, I am providing them with further documentation for my dispute. But because they have already failed to send me their fraud package before investigating their claim, I do not have any confidence they can be trusted to do the right thing without involving the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Consumer Complaint: This company is completely unprofessional and incompetent. The original complaint I filed with the CFPB was complaint number XXXX. I attached a letter with that complaint and also here again that I was clearly talking about XXXX XXXX which they cleverly returned to XXXX XXXX. Despite the fact they returned the debt XXXX XXXX XXXX, I still never received a initial letter.I learned of them having the debt through rentgrow after being denied and have attached a screenshot of them reporting that debt to rentgrow. Note they clamed as seen on the rentgrow screenshot that I have included here the XXXX XXXX account was placed with them on XXXX XXXX However on the same screenshot, the date I requested the report from XXXX was XX/XX/2021. That is not even 30 days that they ( national credit ) got this debt and already started reporting to rentgrow. I never received any notice of this debt being placed with them. I clearly in my original complaint wanted proof of my initial letter that was never sent and validation the debt which they also never sent. So they replied to the original complaint I made with a ledger from a different apartment complex, XXXX XXXX and attached ledgers of what I supposedly owe to the XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX are not affiliated with XXXX XXXX or the wells apartment which my original complaint was about. I learned that they had that new debt through here! So they feel because they sent the XXXX XXXX account back, they could avoid breaking the law but they cant. They still broke the law. There response to the complaint above is so clear of that. They violated my rights again because I did not get an initial letter for XXXX XXXX as well. I didn't get to dispute the XXXX XXXX myself as my complaint was about XXXX XXXX, which you can clearly see. Now you on my credit report as the XXXX XXXX one they have now ( they got that one after they sent the XXXX XXXX XXXX back ) says I dispute this account but I didn't .I never made a dispute for that account yet as I never received an initial notice or right to dispute for that one either. They have a clear sloppy pattern of ignoring the FDCPA laws. See screenshots .Next they claim on the XXXX XXXX report they are reporting that they got that account as well on XXXX XXXX ( ironic ) but didn't start reporting it on my credit ( still never sent my initial letter ever ) until XXXX XXXX. See those screenshots as well. They took my actual right to dispute the validity of this or the prior debt they had for XXXX XXXX away from me. I want them to acknowledge as seen here in the proof they had the XXXX XXXX account and not the XXXX XXXX account on XXXX XXXXI want proof either way especially if they deny that fact. I want proof they never sent any initial notices and as seen to my prior complaint they gave me proof of the new debt which I never requested yet, and skipped giving me proof of the XXXX XXXX debt and producing that initial letter they never sent. Along with explaining how they just had got that account XXXX XXXX and had already reporting to rent grow. They caused me to get denied for that apartment. Me and my kids. I am in a place now I cant even afford because they violated my rights. Also when they gave the XXXX XXXX debt account back XXXX XXXX XXXX got they debt and started reporting as well by their coward move. Also when I was calling about the XXXX XXXX debt which is the only debt I had known about once I was denied for the apartment and discovered on the Rentgrow report. They never picked up phone calls or gave any answers. They were and still are shady. I have attached the initial letter I gave them through my original complaint on the cfpb, there email address and the XXXX complaint I made. I also have the XXXX complaint I made and all they gave me was a generic shady response. They asked me to contact them through email which is what I did and I NEVER got an answer. This is the only forum they replied to. Understand even if you send this debt back. I am putting you and XXXX XXXX on notice to preserve all evidence including but not limited to all phone calls received and going out in regards to my complaints addressed here even if not involving me in the conversations, letters in regards to these complaints, emails. The point is you are being sued 2 times because these were two different accounts. You took a sneaky approach and tried to avoid the XXXX XXXX concerns and sent it back to get the XXXX XXXX account. NOTE : I WILL ONLY ACCEPT A RESPONSE FROM YOUR LAWYER.ONLY YOUR LAWYER. DO NOT HAVE YOUR COMPLIANCE TEAM RESPOND HERE. I AM DEMANDING YOU PAY THIS DEBT EVEN THOUGH IT IS DISPUTED AND I DO NOT OWE IT. AND PAY ME {$7500.00} TO SETTLE BOTH VIOLATIONS WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER YOU RECIEVE THIS LETTER.I EXPECT A REPONSE THROUGH THIS FORUM BUT YOUR LAWYER MAY REACH ME THROUGH EMAIL TO DISCUSS A SETTLEMENT.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I accepted a call from XXXX XXXX a debt collector at XXXX XXXX XXXX. He stated he was attempting to collect a debt from me for an apartment in Missouri that I failed pay. I informed Mr. XXXX that I have lived in my XXXX apartment for the past 3 years. I informed Mr. XXXX that I have never even visited the state of Missouri and I believed he was reaching out to the incorrect party. I asked him to provide a lease or documentation with my signature he was unable to do so and informed me that not how the process works. He told me he would work directly with the Apartment and was awaiting further documentation. I contacted Mr XXXX several more times but unfortunately he did not have further information. A month goes past and I hear nothing from National Credit Systems or XXXX XXXX. Fast forward and I am on vacation in XXXX and I received a notice from XXXX that a negative alert has been placed on my score from National Credit Systems. I immediately called Mr XXXX and reminded him that Id been waiting on documentation and I was infuriated that this hit my FICO and XXXX credit score as I had clear proof and evidence that this was not me! Finally he provided a document from the apartment complex in Missouri and stated that another XXXX with a different social lived in the complex but it was not me! Mr XXXX stated that since I had a prior incident with National Credit Systems that instead of debating with him I needed to pay my bills and stop trying to evade! The prior incident was due to a roommate who stayed in an apartment after I moved out and the roommate payed the balance! This situation has nothing to do with current incident and he never fully investigated as he believed I was guilty. I was so angry that a debtor would speak to me this way instead of doing the research and collect the debt from who it was truly owed to. Finally after several times of explaining this to XXXX XXXX he sent me a document to fill out for identity theft but this was after 3 months, and he still had not provided me an official lease from the complex. I decided to speak to a manager and left voicemails with several and never heard back. Finally I filled a dispute with FTC, XXXX and XXXX XXXX and forwarded that information to Mr. XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I decided to reach out to the apartment complex myself. I immediately heard back from the Apartment Complex the next day and they APOLOGIZED and stated this was clearly a case of mistaken identity. Wow. I resolved in two days what XXXX XXXX from National Credit Systems did not resolve in 3 months after multiple phone calls, emails, and documentation from me. I believe that he should held accountable as this has taken an absorbent amount of my time, impacted my FICO/XXXX/XXXX XXXX XXXX Credit Score , collected additional fees for international calls, and most importantly could have been rectified without impacting my credit. On XX/XX/XXXX I did eventually speak to a manager XXXX XXXX after I refused to disconnect from the call until a manager came on the line and she was helpful but after 3 months of going through this emotional distress, frustration, and impacted credit score her assistance should have come sooner.

Consumer Complaint: I have 2 collections reporting on my credit from National Credit Systems that are not mine and are a result of identity theft. I have tried in good faith to address this with them directly. I sent in the required identity theft affidavit along with supporting documentation. After a 30 day investigation, collection items remain on my credit report. National Credit Systems sent a copy of the lease. Its obvious its not my signature not correct middle name in the copy of the lease provided. I would like these collection items to be removed from my credit files.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS stated the account was REMOVED from my dad 's consumer report. I am still being violated by them. They are still reporting on my consumer report. XXXX XXXX stated it would be removed and it has not. They are damaging my character and in violation of 18 of the FDCPA Laws as you can see in Exhibit A, and C. As you can clearly see there is nothing but harassment from NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS By reporting this debt to the credit bureaus it is causing damage to my character and that is Harassment under 15 USC 1692d ( 1 ) Pursuant to 15 USC 1692k - Civil liability, 15 USC 1692k ( a ) ( 1 ) and 15 USC 1692k ( 2 ) ( a ). I demand remedy by paying the invoice included of {$18000.00} and immediate Deletion from all consumer reports for my Federally protected consumer rights. please investigate this matter and help me from further harassment.
