Consumer Complaint: I was unfortunately the victim of scam from a holder of an Account at M & T Bank. The M & T Bank account was attached to my XXXX account as an external account. I had money transferred from that external account to my XXXX account on XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX told me that the funds were in my account but still pending. On XX/XX/XXXX I received and email that the funds were debited from the external account and available in my account. I called the bank to confirm and was told yes they were. Now I have a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX that the account is closed and that they didn't get the funds from MT bank and so I am overdrawn. I have the account information for MT bank where the scam is taking place. This is also being reported to the Federal Trade Commission and the Banking Authority in Texas ( where I live ) as well as Florida ( where the scam people are located ). The files I am uploading are on the XXXX side ( the only account that I can control and have access to ) but show that the funds were taken from MT Bank

Also, on reinstatement quote dated XX/XX/XXXX that I have until XX/XX/XXXX to reinstate my loan by Law, but Wilmington Trust deprived my civil and legal right and barred me from reinstated my loan upon repeatedly requests and filed foreclosure prevented me from reinstated my loan on a pre-mediated ill-intent.My loan balance is {$500000.00}, back pmt of 25 month x XXXX = {$52000.00} total owned $ XXXX {$620000.00} = {$64000.00} over excessive charges. Illegal and Wrongful foreclosure targeted the minority a " Economic Lynch '' works beautifully and extreme profitable with the green light from the governmental agencies. And Wilmington Trust failed serve the mandate of a " Escrow Account '' and had no intend pay My property tax and insurance, which is against law by knowing and willing committed Fraud. 9. I called many times to XXXX XXXX Property Tax Collector, and questioned if there were Double payments of my property tax, the answers were always " No '' there were no double payments from Wilmington Trust at all. 10. Also, attached 11 pages of my property Taxes receipts from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX, XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX and my bank account statements reflected and recorded property taxes paid. CFPB, please see the 8th times illegal and wrongful foreclosures scheduled XX/XX/XXXX that Wilmington Trust/XXXX filed against me Repeatedly, that I filed numerous complaints to your agency since XXXX and Wilmington Trust has no fear and not afraid any of any governmental agencies but over-ruled any Governmental Agency 's mandates, rules, regulations and of course the Laws. I am hereby requesting CFPB filed class law suit stopping the violent atrocities against the borrowers in general, me, in specific. Consumer Complaint: Began a mortgage refinance application around XX/XX/20. The application process was straightforward - but everything fell apart after that. It was XXXX before I was anywhere near closing. I was transferred to several contractors inside of the company for information - none of them would request information/documents through a secure channel, they were requesting them through email. I had to continuously call the loan officer to get the items added to the secure system - I'm not sending a W2 and paycheck stubs through email ... At this closing, no one from the bank was available, nor was anyone from the settlement company available ( phone or in person ). I was not informed of amount to close before hand - which had increased by {$500.00}. I was not provided closing documentation until I showed up, and even though I was signing at my local bank no one there could answer my questions, including the branch manager. Once I attempted to refinance with my current mortgage holder, M & T cancelled the loan instead of attempting any negotiation or trying to help. My credit had been tied up for over 5 months, and they have done nothing to help.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021, I reserved a hotel stay at the XXXX XXXX located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX MD XXXX for 30 nights from XX/XX/2021 to XX/XX/2021 totaling {$2000.00} ; The reservation was made through my membership account on the XXXX XXXX app. It stated that a credit card was required for the reservation in which I provided my M & T debit-credit card ending in XXXX, and the reservation was processed with a reservation # XXXX, and with check-in starting at XXXXXXXX XXXX However when I attempted to check-in on XX/XX/2021, the front desk at the XXXX hotel informed me that my debit-credit card was declining the {$600.00} charge-hold that they were attempting to process. I attempted to call M & T bank customer service over the phone however I kept getting a prompt system stating that they were experiencing high call volume therefore would not be able to connect me so I would have to call back another time. I attempted to call M & T bank customer service the next day XX/XX/2021 and was finally able to speak with an M & T bank representative who informed after looking into the issue and confirming that my card had rejected my hotel reservation, informed that because the account was recently opened, there might have been a limit put on my debit-credit card. XXXX hotel attempted to process a {$600.00} hold ; additionally, I attempted to process a payment of {$5700.00} to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2021 and such was also declined. M & T Bank is engaging in illegal acts and subjecting me to unregulated practices and procedures.

Consumer Complaint: My name is ... and Im writing to you to complain about the response I received from M & T Bank to my request. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent by mail and email my request to M & T Bank, along with the documentation ( attached ). On XX/XX/XXXX I finally received an answer from the bank, by email, after I requested it by phone ( attached ). I noticed that the response its automatically generated by the software, it is not addressed to myself and does not contain any explanation related to the case I brought to the banks attention. In fact, Im the third borrower, along with my ex in-laws ..., .., on a property located on .... In XX/XX/XXXX, I got divorced from my ex-husband ... and stipulated in the divorce agreement, that he will be starting the process of removing my name from the mortgage obligations, as well from the title and deed. He was the one who took care of all mortgage obligations, on behalf of his parents. He started the process to fulfill those obligations ; unfortunately he passed away on XX/XX/XXXX. The mortgage payments were made by my ex-husband estate for more 3 months ( XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, I started the legal process through the court to remove my name from the mortgage, title and deed obligations, and substitute myself with the estate of XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, ... t granted my motion to name the Estate of ..., .., Administrator ( the Estate ), as the substituted party in place of plaintiff, ... ( attached ). In the light of all these, I consider the bank did not evaluate my case with proper attention. Im a client of the bank and definitely I was not treated accordingly. My case is very complex and thats why requires legal instrumentation ; it seems that it was a very easy decision for them to deny my request. More than that, it took over 30 days to decide it. I come to you asking for help in determine the bank to approach my case in a professional manner, to take in consideration the court order along with all the documentation I have and to make a fair decision. I cant afford to have an attorney, my financial situation is on a surviving mode, my credit score is ruined and reduced my chances to get a better job, to pay for my daughter college, to secure housing in the future. I dont live on that property ( the other two borrowers live there ) and Ive never lived.

Consumer Complaint: I sold my house and my mortgage was closed on XX/XX/2020. My mortgage was with M & T bank. They were not who I initial took my mortgage out with. They have been problematic to deal with since they became the servicer. I did not receive the mortgage tax statement for 2020 showing how much I paid in interest and taxes for the 2020 tax year. I realized this when I went to do my taxes with the collected documents. Normally these form are easy to retrieve on company websites Previously when my mortgage was serviced by XXXX XXXX, I could alway get them online ( but never failed to receive a paper statement ), however, M & T bank closed my account so I can't log in to their website and get the document. I get an error message when I try to log in. I tried calling the bank on Saturday when I was doing my taxes, but was told that the online department couldn't help me. I called back today and have been on hold waiting for over 20 minutes now. It's a silent hold. I'm not optimistic I will be able to get through at all. It feel like since I am no longer a customer they have no interest in helping me get the matter resolved.
