On XX/XX/XXXX there were 4 transactions between capital on and trial cr. All these transactions were cents. On XX/XX/XXXX 3 transactions for cents - 2 were to trial cr and one was to XXXXXXXX XXXXl trial. Reported to bank vis phone on XX/XX/XXXX. Attempted to freeze accounts they said they couldnt do it over the phone. Later that day {$22000.00} was transferred to XXXX XXXX Also had trouble with my checkings account. On XX/XX/XXXX a fake personal check was uploaded for the amount of {$1900.00} to a XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX a fake check for the amount of {$850.00} was cashed for a XXXX XXXX XXXX. And on XX/XX/XXXX a fake personal check for the amount of XXXX was cashed from a XXXX XXXX XXXX. All checks appear to have the same signature on the back.

We were told that they would have the claim resolved by today, XX/XX/2021. We have not heard anything from the bank and nobody is able to give us further information. We opened up new bank accounts which have not been reimbursed for the security hack.

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage is serviced by M & T bank. On XX/XX/XXXX I set up automatic direct deposit for my payments. They claimed to have sent me a letter on XX/XX/XXXX stating that the direct deposit was would deposit XX/XX/XXXX instead of the Mortgage payment due date of XX/XX/XXXX. I did not receive this letter. I contacted the bank on XX/XX/XXXX via email and then by phone as I was confused about the payment process. I was directed to their servicing department. I was told everything was ok. Eventually in XXXX I received a phone call asking me to contact M & T bank. They stated I was behind on my mortgage payments. They said that they had not received payment. I disputed the credit report and paid my mortgage that day. They denied my request to amend my credit report. They stated that they sent a letter to me stating this which I did not get. They also said the website clearly states when the payment is due. It is actually confusing and I called to make sure everything was set up correctly. They gave me the wrong information. When confronted with this the supervisor says " I cant speak to this ''. However, they should have record of the conversation.They also stated that they called me to contact me about my late payment. I did not receive a single notification via mail, email or phone about my late payment and they had the wrong phone number on file. I have attached phone records indicating I received no phone calls and email records indicating I recieved no emails about my late payments. In addition I received no letters.

WHY would there be a " wellness check ''? I am doing WELL. Consumer Complaint: XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I entered the COVID Forbearance relief program on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX for one year. I have since successfully made the XXXX ( XXXX XXXX Trail payments starting on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX to qualify for a loan modification. I have continued to make on time payments every month and on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX will be 8 months of on time payments. I have made five request to M & T Supervisors to receive my loan documents to close on a loan modification with M & T Bank. Each time the Supervisors submit an 'escalation ticket ' which amounts to nothing. M & T 's has stated on numerous occasions that I have provided all they need for the loan modification ; however, my loan modification documents is held up with a third party reviewer. It is my belief M & T Mortgage is slow rolling my loan modification documents because I have made it clear I am refinancing my loan under the VA XXXX program and M & T does not want to loose my higher monthly payment ( {$4000.00} ). Each month I could have a lower VA Mortgage payment by 1 % point but I am powerless against M & T Bank. This written correspondence will serve as my notice to M & T Bank 's tactics to undermine homeowners by holding loans hostage so to profit on higher interest rates. There is no other explanation.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021, I XXXX XXXX XXXX to discuss a billing error ( not a fraudulent charge ). I dialed the number on the website which unbeknownst to me was a spoofed XXXX site. After explaining my billing issue, I was told an old XXXX I had traded in was never wiped clean of my banking information. I was asked to download an app called XXXX so he could unlink the old phone. He had me make two transfers from my M & T banks XXXX service - one for {$1500.00}, the other for {$990.00}. When I asked how I would be refunded, I was told to go to a convenience store and purchase XXXX gift cards so he could refund the money. I had no intention of purchasing them, but I wanted a witness to what was happening. Mr. XXXX XXXX, the manager of the XXXX XXXX in XXXX, NJ agreed to be a witness to this scam. I went immediately to my M & T branch in XXXX to report the fraudulent activity. Because I do not have a separate XXXX account, my only recourse was to file a dispute with the bank. My dispute and two appeals have all been denied because I was scammed, not frauded. I have received no written or email correspondence from M & T. I only know about the denials because the branch manager verbally informed me when I kept going to the branch to check the status of my claim. I believe my rights under the recently published CFPB compliance aid that prevents banks from exploiting loopholes in Regulation E are being violated. In XXXX, the CFPB ruled that a consumer who is fraudulently induced into providing account information has not furnished an access device under Reg E. I have supplied the two attached articles to the bank, and they are still denying my claim.

Consumer Complaint: When Covid-19 started I ended up being out of work for 6 months. We kept paying the full amount of our mortgage ( $ XXXX/month ). Once it got to the point we couldn't pay our mortgage ( 3 months later ) we were put into forbearance for our mortgage. I wasn't able to pay mortgage for 3 months but once I started working again we immediately called and told M & T Bank that we will be able to start paying our mortgage again. M & T Bank told my wife that we would only have to pay {$1300.00} since we could start paying. We told M & T that I work overseas a lot therefore my wife has a General POA to handle anything that comes up. That means banking, car issues, mortgage, and our kids. For the past 6 months mybwife has been calling M & T to pay our mortgage and they have been taking {$1300.00}. Just within the last month we have been informed that the POA isn't acceptable and we are XXXX behind in payments. I understand the 3 months we couldn't pay. The XXXX is apparently the rest of the original mortgage payment that M & T has not been pulling from my account every time we have payed and I'm guessing late fees. I have tried to work with M & T to get the exact wording for the POA but M & T refuses to give me the wording. When I ask for a letter explaining why they decided to only pull out {$1300.00} for my mortgage payment instead of the original amount I am told to refer to my statement for answers which doesn't address my request at all. The behind payments are because of faulty information that M & T has been using and since I have been paying the asked for amount ( automatically withdraw from my account BY M & T ) there has been no breach or lack of payment as M & T wants to portray.
