I was not on the Island when these charges occurred and we clearly fraud.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I, the consumer, received communication from M & T BANKXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with obscene and profane language threatening to to take my property to coerce payment of an alleged debt that I do not owe them. These individual actions are a direct violation of my consumer rights under Title 15 Chapter 41 subsection 15 USC 1692d. I sent debt validation letters to M & T BANKXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX by certified mail with green return receipts on XX/XX/2021. They were received and signed for on XX/XX/2021 and XX/XX/2021. I, the consumer, am disputing the validity of this alleged debt and pursuant to 15 USC 1692g, I am enforcing my right to refuse to pay this alleged debt pursuant to 15 USC 1692c ( C ). I am demanding an audit traiI pursuant to 12 USC 1831n and 12 USC 5562C ( 10 ). Please provide documentary material as defined by congress showing proof of this alleged debt ( The term documentary material Includes the original or any copy of any book, document, record, report, memorandum, paper, communication, tabulation, chart, logs, electronic files, or other data or data compilations stored in any medium ) name and address of the original creditor and verification ( The term " Verification '' means a formal declaration made in the presence of an authorized officer such as notary public under oath ) or a copy of the judgement of the alleged debt be mailed to me the consumer.

Consumer Complaint: I had a Home Equity line of credit with my bank M & T XXXX XXXX XXXX MD XXXX I sold my condo and went to closing on XXXX/XXXX/21. I closed all my accounts with M & T bank because I moved to XXXX Va where there are no M & T banks. It is now XX/XX/XXXX a full month after the Line of credit was paid off and my accounts were closed, however M & T bank has not yet listed my line of credit account as closed. In addition the loan has a - {$610.00} balance they owe me at the same time they want me to pay them {$95.00} left due on my overdraft protection account. As the checking account is closed I have no way to pay this amount due online. I want these accounts closed and listed as paid in full. My credit score dropped 45 points in 1 day due to this mortgage loan on a home I sold at closing a month ago. I want the left over line of credit funds used to pay the overdraft protection amount due. As soon as possible as this continues to hurt my credit score. I have sent notarized letters requesting this resolution but it has been over 2 weeks since M & T acknowledged receiving notarized letter yet accounts still listed exactly as they have been incorrectly for weeks.

I had direct deposits on the same days they charged me over drafts fees which covered my balances and I should not have been charged over draft fees. XX/XX/2021 direct deposit amount sent for {$50.00} XX/XX/2021 direct deposit sent {$42.00} XX/XX/2021 direct deposit sent {$60.00} M & T purposely held me direct deposits as the last transction on my checking account to arbitrage over draft fees. On XX/XX/2021 I sent an electronic communication via my online banking requesting my 2 overdraft fees of {$38.00} be waived which M & T did not respond or acknowledge my request. Also I never received a overdraft fee notification from M & T Bank via mail, e-mail or phone call.

Consumer Complaint: We refinanced our home in XXXX. We had sufficient homeowner 's insurance at that time ; however, the lender wanted us to have different homeowner 's insurance because the premiums were less. This was the only way for us to refinance. I contacted our insurance agent and asked them to cancel our policy with the carrier. When I called XXXX weeks later, I found out that the policy had not been cancelled, but the premium had been paid. I told the insurance agent that it needed to be cancelled. I never received any renewal notices and never heard anything additional from my insurance agent, insurance carrier, or my mortgage company. Fast forward to XX/XX/XXXX, I started receiving notices from my mortgage company that I was behind on my payments. I made a call and finally found out that the mortgage company had paid both premiums- the insurance that I originally had and the insurance that was force placed upon me during the refinance. The mortgage company is demanding that I pay them back the premium for the policy that I originally had and tried to cancel - {$6100.00}. Since XXXX in the State of Alabama, a dwelling can not have two different homeowner 's insurance policies in place. I've tried to explain this to my mortgage company and they are insisting that I pay for XXXX and XXXX - the years that they paid the premiums. They never contacted me about paying two homeowner 's insurance policies, never cancelled the one that was force placed upon me, and never made any contact about this issue. I've made every payment of my mortgage for XXXX, never been late and yet, because I haven't been paying the full amount to pay them back for the insurance premiums, they have stacked late fees and penalties against me ... my credit is completely ruined. I shouldn't have to pay back premiums for which I tried to cancel and my mortgage company willingly and knowingly paid which was illegal.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021, we applied for a cash out refinance of our mortgage through our current lender, M & T Bank, via their website. By XX/XX/2021, we have heard nothing. I sent an email to the contact lender generated at the time of application. Her name is XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. She immediately responded and stated that she would like to speak with us by phone. We set up a meeting for XX/XX/2021 at XXXX cst. She never called. She never emailed with an apology for missing the appointment. She's never given us any updates on the application. And, she's never provided us the required Loan Estimate. The reason for the complaint is because we have yet to receive a Loan Estimate. The application was completed and credit has been pulled on my spouse and myself by M & T XXXX. At this point, we've taken a hard hit on our credit report which really isn't going to affect our chances of refinancing with another company because of our credit score. But, waiting XXXX weeks for communication on an update or having to ask for the Loan Estimate that should have already been provided is simply unacceptable.
