Consumer Complaint: I was discriminated against at M & T bank, the manager denied me of withdrawing my funds for no apparent reasons. He told me he won't pay me this is above his pay grade. He froze my account and blocked my debit card. I told him the wire came from my other account and I can show him all the details along with my online account. He said he doesn't want to see anything and he threatened to call the cops on me. At this point I have things to do financially, everything is on hold for me. I have called the call center and various M & T branches to have it resolve, no one seems to help. I also left numerous messages for him to call him, up to now no call back. The manager name is XXXX. Consumer Complaint: I was approved for a Partial Claim and XXXX sent documents to sign which I did. They said the docs were notarized incorrectly so they sent me another package to have notarized. I resigned notarized and sent this 2nd package back XXXX on XXXX XXXXXX/XX/. Now they have transferred the servicing to M & T Bank. as of XXXX XXXX and the new company is stating I am short on the escrow because of hazard insurance never being paid for renewal XXXX XXXX XXXX Why? Now the new M $ T Bank says they have no record from XXXX about any valid docs signed for the Partial claim and that my mortgage payments are going to be XXXX a month instead of the normal XXXXI feel as tho I am being setup for failure because they can not approve a new partial claim unless I pay the new XXXX immediately and I am currently in default. This is a second complaint against XXXX and a new 1st complaint against M & T Bank.

Consumer Complaint: Peoples United Bank ( Peoples ) was the originator of my mortgage loan, and since the origination in XX/XX/XXXX, my HOA has maintained the same insurance coverage. At the time of the origination, representative of People 's communicated directly with XXXX XXXX XXXX to confirm appropriate insurance coverage. I am submitting the chain of emails between People XXXX and XXXX ( note : emails in reverse chronological order ), as well as a XXXX letter issued on XX/XX/XXXX, both confirming that the HOA 's master policy contained " walls in coverage. '' I am also submitted a XXXX letter issued on XX/XX/XXXX, again confirming the same coverage as of that date. Based on these documents, M & T Bank ( M & T ) is incorrect in concluding the master policy contains insufficient insurance coverage. In the alternative, had Peoples erred in the origination and my HOAs master policy in fact had not included walls in coverage, M & T, as successor to Peoples, should bear the cost of Peoples failure in due diligence. There is no basis in law or equity for a bank to demand its customers pay for the banks own mistakes. I'm submitting a M & T letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, in which M & T stated in its own words that it acquired the loan from Peoples on XX/XX/XXXX but did not provide the first XXXX notice regarding any walls-in lapse until XX/XX/XXXX. M & T 's actions present a serious conflict of interest, as a bank can simply mislead a homebuyer into believing that they had adequate insurance and then, years later, impose a large XXXX premium upon the unsuspecting homebuyer. Note that the actions of M & T 's predecessor led me to reasonably believe I had adequate insurance, and by the time I was notified otherwise on XX/XX/XXXX, I could not have obtained insurance dating back to XX/XX/XXXX, as insurance policies can not be backdated.
