Consumer Complaint: Chase bank filed 1099c that does not show the breakdown of the amounts for debt cancelled- principal versus interest. It is important to breakdown the total into these two categories as not all amounts are taxable. Looking at the way Chase Bank filed 1099 C with no breakdown for principal and interest all amounts are taxable. It is wrong to list the amounts as they did on 1099C as a lot of it is due to interest. This must be reflected on 1099c form. I attempted previously to show the shortcomings of their reporting practices and expect the final 1099C to be indeed the most correct 1099c per current regulations.

Consumer Complaint: I paid for a purchase with XXXX in full the agreed amount on my Chase Freedom card. When I got the statement XXXX allowed United to charge an additional XXXX XXXX I disbursed this with XXXX and Chase and it was removed. After the trip the XXXX was put back on this time by XXXX. I called Chase and they said Im to write a letter and upload it. God put it in my mind that Chase is pocketing millions if not billions of these charges that are removed and put back on from consumers who didnt get the service or was charged more than the agreed amount at the time of purchase. When I wrote the letter the Chase app wouldnt allow me to upload the letter. Then I started to think how often this happens with Chase and their customers service, so I asked them where I could report my concern about this. They refused to provide the information! They told me I can report them to XXXX XXXX, that this is the government agency that overseas credit cards, when I called it is not, its XXXX Which led me to you. I dont owe the XXXX to Chase and I havent been able to upload the letter. It is unAmerican to allow big business to over step together against the tax payers like this. Chase, XXXX and United I cant fight, nor can I afford to give them an extra XXXX I do not owe. I paid in full the XXXX I did owe.

Consumer Complaint: I sent a payment to my roommate for rent on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I woke up to notification from the Chase app and via text message that my account was overdrafted by almost the exact amount that I had to sent to them. Checked the app and the charge was processed twice with the exact same confirmation/processing number. I reached out to Chase at XXXX but they werent open. I then reached out via XXXX as that was suggested. They advertise that theyre open at XXXX XXXX via XXXX, but I still havent gotten a response. When their call center opened, I called and was transferred to a representative where I was told that this was an ongoing issue that was being reported and that they should have it fixed soon. They have no foreseeable timeline and considering its not only the weekend but also a date where most people pay their rent, its even more egregious that this hasnt been fixed and that a large number of people might not have access to money until Monday.

Consumer Complaint: The is the second time that Chase has automatically sent an ACH from my account when the auto XXXX has not been activated. Chase sent an ACH without my consent or permission AGAIN. I made a manual ACH payment on XX/XX/2023 and today, XX/XX/2023, I received a notification that my account has been overdrawn due to Chase sending an automatic ACH for the same transaction. Again, auto ACH is turned off and has not been activated. I manually sent the XXXX. Since this has happened before, I reached out to XXXX from the Executive Office at Chase who assisted me previously. This appears to be a recurring issue in Chases system. Regardless it is an issue in Chases system and wholly created by Chase. Due to Chases actions my account is overdrawn by {$4400.00}. Clearly, when Chase represented to me that this issue had been resolved it had not and they were misrepresenting the status of the issue. I am unable to conduct business on the account I need the resolved expeditiously and completely. I need the funds returns by end of business on XX/XX/2023.
