Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I wrote a check for my quarterly payment to the IRS for {$4000.00}. I noticed that this check cleared my XXXX XXXXk Account back in XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX, I received mail for the IRS stating that they never received this payment. So, I asked XXXXXXXX XXXX for a copy of the check. I learned that my check that is/was made payable to " US Treasury XXXX was deposited ( or cashed ) in/into a Chase Bank. The check was/is endorsed by what appears to be an individual 's name. I have a copy of this processed check ( front and back ) for you to review. I asked my bank, XXXX to help me. They processed a claim with Chase. Chase denied my refund unless I provided them with a signed/notarized affidavit signed by US Treasury XXXX I went to the IRS XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Tx XXXX. The IRS told me that they can not and will not sign such affidavits. I then went in person to a local Chase Bank and sat with the bank manager. She told me that I had to have my bank fill out a form and send the request to Chase. I explained that that process was done and that is how I got to her. She said there was nothing else she could do. I ended up calling an XXXX number and asking Chase to consider helping a non-customer request. They did call me back and said they would not help me.

Consumer Complaint: During XXXX I bought an ultra wide screen monitor with XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX. It also came with a 24 month warranty. The monitors XXXX four port was not connecting with my XXXX XXXX, so I had to take it in to get it looked at or repaired at XXXX the XXXXXXXX XXXX said that I was still in my exchange warranty. And that I needed to bring it in to see if they can repair it and if they can't repair it, they can replace it. They said that they would ship me the new one within seven days and gave me a shipping tracking number. The next day, I got an email saying that my order was canceled from XXXX XXXX. I called the XXXX XXXX store and I'm on the phone with them. They tried to issue me a store, credit or something the representative wasn't very detailed with their explanation, but they were trying to exchange it for a new one and then make a whole new brand new order and they put me on hold. I completely was unaware I forgot that I bought this with my Chase account debit card because Chase is not very customer appreciative as well as they just don't care and they said you have to fail and do not have any feelings of remorse for anyone without {$300000.00} in our savings account so I made the decision to close the acc not long after I bought this monitor. I closed the Chase account, I no longer do business with Chase at all so I did not know that they were going to try and refund my account. Otherwise I would've stopped them but they did refund or returned the original monitor and somehow or for some reason they did it by refunding it back to the bank to recharge. I don't know I was very confused and very angry why this was such a huge ordeal and why it couldn't have been done some other way, but the store manager helped me try to get it fixed said he could not get it fixed so I had to contact Chase to have them cut me a check. I tried logging into my old account and it is not even on my login page anymore. Does not say I have an account anymore so Chase has {$1700.00} of my money and has not sent it to me yet. Yes, but I was attempting to re-initiate the charge and chase shut them down so I'm just confused pretty upset. I just want my Monitor back to be honest on don't want to have to go through the process of getting a check and waiting for them to do it, but I guess I have to know I want my money back I will upload a picture of the receipts that he gave me when I went into the XXXX XXXX to talk to the manager to prove that it was refunded

Subissue: Problem accessing account
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, someone claiming to be me called JPMorgan Chase customer service. They gave them an excuse as to why they don't have my phone or access to my email account associated with the account. They then told them all they have to verify my identity is my ( stolen ) business credit card # and XXXX #. My credit card never left my possession so this card # was compromised from a website I do business on. The bank representative gave them my login, and a new password. Within a few minutes that bad actor accessed my business account, linked my personal accounts, subscribed my email account to a spam bot engine in an attempt to inundate my mailbox with so many emails I would be unable to find that one email from Chase indicating a new login has occurred from a new IP address. I immediately locked down all my accounts and got rid of the new email address and cell phone # that was added to my account. I was also able to break the link between all my personal accounts and my business accounts. Upon investigation by Chase, they notified me a bad actor called them on XX/XX/XXXX in a failed attempt to take over my account. My account was then frozen, requiring me to visit a bank branch and show ID before it could be unfrozen. This all happened without my knowledge as not notification was ever sent to me regarding a freeze. On XX/XX/XXXX, the bad actor called again, persuaded the Chase Rep to unfreeze my account and give the person my credentials over the phone. This person now knows how much I have with Chase bank and I assure you he will either try again or hand the job off to a more senior level bad actor who knows how much work will be involved to get into my account with a nice pot of money available. I have begun the process of moving all of my money out of JPMorgan Chase Bank as a result of this latest hacking incident. It was COMPLETELY out of my control. I did nothing wrong. Chase was 100 % at fault for giving my credentials away to criminal and should be held accountable. This is the THIRD time my account has been hacked and I strongly believe the previous time this happened Chase did the same thing and gave someone my credentials.
