Consumer Complaint: Chase Bank has released a new 124 page Digital Services Agreement. On XXXX, while trying to access my current credit card balance on Chase 's website, Chase notified me of the new agreement and also notified me that I am required to read and agree with said agreement before I can access any details about my account on their website, including my financial statements of credit card balance which are only available on their website. I contend that review of a document of this type and size should reasonably take 30 days, and should include opportunities for questions and requested revisions. On XXXX I requested on 3 separate occasions access to my account details without accepting or denying said agreement, but Chase unilaterally denied access to my account details. I also submitted feedback on XXXX to Chase via their " Contact Us '' system but did not receive any acknowledgement of my concern or any indication that they would address my concern within a reasonable time frame.

Consumer Complaint: I was scammed on a XXXX advertisement. The name of the company is XXXX. XXXX first ask my credit card information in order for me to look at what greater percentage deals I could get discounted for their product the night of XX/XX/XXXX. I was hesitant on buying their product that I wanted to sleep on it overnight before deciding to make a purchase or not. I usually do that anyways, since I am a XXXX veteran on a set income. I woke up the next morning, XX/XX/XXXX, doing my routine check of my finances on my online checking account. I discovered I had a pending transaction from XXXX for {$190.00} that morning. I called Chase Bank customer service at XXXXXXXX XXXX. and told my story to the gentleman about the XXXX unauthorized order. He said dont worry. Chase would refund my money. I asked him if they shipped the product to me. He then said " throw it away ''. The refund happen on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I went into Chase Bank in XXXX, CA. I spoke to XXXX XXXX at the bank who helped my in person about a letter that Chase Bank was going to take out XXXX out of my bank account. I explained to her that it was a scam. She and I then spoke to their fraud department. I was then going to give evidence to XXXX and then she would fax the information to Chase Bank Fraud department. I sent the information with a thank you to XXXX. She confirmed that she faxed the information to their fraud department. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke to Chase customer service and they said that they could not refund me my money. I said that the product was sent back to XXXX even after one of their Chase Bank collegue suggested I throw away the product. I even said that I reported it was fraud because I did not order anything onXXXX. I was looking at the product on XX/XX/XXXX. Besides, I go to bed early, because I have chickens. I have the e-mails from XXXX, from XXXX XXXX, from Chase bank, and a picture of my cell phone log.

Consumer Complaint: JPM Chase bank is refusing to release {$12000.00} funds to my business checking account that was deposited on XX/XX/23, cleared the issuers bank ( XXXXXXXX XXXX ) and taken from the issuer 's account on XX/XX/23. Chase has restricted my account and refuses to release the check funds although it has been beyond 10 business day holding period. Chase bank has communicated that if the phone number verification condition is not cleared by the issuer of the check, they will hold the {$12000.00} for two years and then release to the state of Georgia as unclaimed funds. I have attempted to resolve this with Chase bank in person and on the phone. The chase branch manager has escalated the issue to upper leadership, however still no resolution. The check issuer 's bank- XXXX XXXX submitted a claw back on the check on XX/XX/23 so the issuer can receive the funds back and issue another check. However, as of XX/XX/23 Chase has not approved the request nor release the funds. The issuer of the check can not do a stop payment because the check cleared and Chase is holding the funds. That leaves me with no check, no XXXX and now fighting with Chase to get the funds released to me or the issuer. This has to be against the law as the check has cleared and Chase is simply holding the folds at their discretion. This has caused a huge interruption for my business operations. This is a brand new business and I need the funds to pay current operating cause. Please help!

Consumer Complaint: This ordeal started on XX/XX/2023. My brother sent me a check closing out the estate of my deceased father. The check was written in the amount of $ XXXX. I deposited the check into my Chase Savings account. They said there would be a two-week hold on the check due to the large amount, which I totally understand. However, my brother mistakenly wrote the check from an account which was held by him and my father jointly. Since my father was deceased, the check bounced back to my brother 's bank, XXXX. My brother then ordered new checks with his name only on them, and sent me a new check. I deposited the check and was told again by Chase there would be a hold. No problem. However when my online account said the money was available I could not access it. I called Chase to find out what was going on and they said the account was suspended due to suspected fraud because of two checks sent by the same maker for the same amount. My brother tried to the recall the check but it was too late. Chase has now closed my account and has my XXXX in " suspension '' until they can verify him through XXXX phone verification. For some reason his two phone numbers can not be verified. We have done everything. We went to the cell company and made sure the phone is registered to him. We double checked that the land line is in public records. We offered to come into a branch with all of our identification including death certificate, state ID, birth certificates, anything they need. The Chase reps say the ONLY way they can verify is through phone numbers. I have called almost every day for updates. I have gone to the local branch and spoken to the manager there. I have asked for managers, supervisors and have only been told the same thing. I'm also told by Chase that if I hire a lawyer, I forfeit my right to check on the status of my money because everything will have to go through legal. Also I don't want to pay a lawyer. I also called my congressman whose office told me they can't offer legal advice. I don't want legal advice, I want to know what the law is, how long they can do this to me, and what resources are available for me. Please help me! Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: On the XXXX day of XXXX in the year 2023, XXXX XXXX and I ( as the Authorized Representative and Beneficiary of my Estate ) agreed upon a price for an automobile. I am contractually obligated to tender payment. I provided them with lawful tender and authorized the discharge of the debt. XXXX XXXX deposited the tender of payment and debt discharge authorization with their bank, CHASE. After a couple weeks of waiting, I finally talked to someone at the Executive Office with CHASE, XX/XX/2023. The representative informed me they refused to do buisness with me because my method of payment wasn't a preferred method and acknowledged that the method provided is a method of payment, just not a preferred method. On XX/XX/2023, I took the method of payment to XXXX XXXX because I bank with them and instructed them to discharge the debt. They sent information to their legal team and I haven't heard back yet. I also tried to extend my credit by applying for a personal loan and XXXX XXXX refused to extend my credit when I spoke with someone at the Executive Office on XX/XX/2023. All debts are the obligation of the United States to discharge and depository institutions are required to perform the transaction pursuant to 31 CFR 357.13 and 12 CFR 1249.12. CHASE and XXXX XXXX have both breach their fiduciary duties towards me as the Executor of my Estate and Beneficiary under the XXXX XXXX XXXX.

In each case my card applications have been denied and the reason given by Chase was, too many requests for credit or opened accounts with us. Can you help? Consumer Complaint: I realized I was defrauded when I did not receive the items I ordered on line for {$59.00}. I tried varies avenues to locate the company but every email I tried was reporting scam, I could not obtain a phone number to contact. I immediately reported to my bank, Chase. They gave me a temporary credit for the {$59.00} until further investigation. On XX/XX/2023 I received a call from XXXX XXXX, Supervisor from Chase Claim Department that they were going to debit my account of {$59.00} because she spoke with the merchant and they said the package was delivered to my home and they provided to her my name and address for proof, so on XX/XX/2023 we are debiting your account of the amount of {$59.00}. XXXX XXXX gave me the USPS Tracking number and said I could verify it myself. I immediately accessed the internet at USPS. com and put in the tracking number and found the information XXXX XXXX said was there was not. The tracking information from the postal service stated a package 8oz was delivered to a Mailbox. There is no address, no name just stating a First Class Package. A first Class package in weight is no more then 3.5 ounces. I ordered ( 2 ) two suitcases. I have been to the Chase Branch in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX Ca XXXX and spoke with Branch Manager, Ms.Jannett. I submitted a formal statement complaint with a clerk there at the bank along with documents as proof I submitted to her the tracking information, I submitted to her the Police Report Number,. I pointed out to her the information on the tracking that there is no evidence that I received the 2 suitcases I ordered and I am a victim of a scam. But they are treating me like I am the scammer. Organizations like the Bank should have varies classes in educating staff and Management the avenues in these scams without putting more unnecessary stress on there customers who entrust them with our money. The scam is enough.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX, my checking account was locked and I was unable to access any of the funds in that Chase account. This was due to a letter sent by XXXX of a fraudulent transaction into Chase that was sent XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX was able to clear things up with my relationship with them within 2 days. The transaction was an amount of {$4000.00} that I transferred into chase and the same amount of {$4000.00} out of Chase back into XXXX 6 days later. I was never notified from Chase bank of the lock of funds and it took me a week to realize. I went into a Chase branch to speak with someone and we spent 4 hours attempting to contact a specialist within Chase to understand why my account funds were not accessible. They told us that Chase was going to automatically close my account and send me a check of the balance in the mail within about 10 days. I called daily to check on the status of my account and nobody in customer service was able to give me any information. XX/XX/XXXX, a month after I was told I would receive my money via check, I went back into the bank branch to speak with someone about this matter. They told me they were investigating my account and there are no updates and nothing I can do about it. I filed a corporate complaint the same day and was told I would receive a call from a Chase representative to help me with my account and still have not received any contact. Throughout this entire time I have not received any updates with my account status nor documentation or notification of my account being locked of funds. Chase bank is holding my entire life savings and I am unable to pay bills, groceries, and gas. I have received no help nor compensation.
