Consumer Complaint: Second mortgage was charged off for a deed in Lieu. I do not live there or in same state. They have reported the amount on .y credit and even had the wrong amount posted at a time. During COVID the state of Florida was in an state of emergency and they repeatedly contacted me asking.e for money. They even made me a deal on paper that I am attaching. I recently contacted them and offered {$3000.00} and the man said they wanted half of the balance and that deal can no longer be in place. He also said he would present the deal and send me a letter of response. I have not heard of anything!

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I was checking my email and noticed that Chase Bank had sent me two emails informing me about my new credit card the problem was that I had not applied for a new credit card. I proceeded to call Chase Bank to report this fraud. They canceled the card and told me they would report it as fraudulent. They advised me to add a credit alert in the Credit bureaus. That day I called XXXX and added a credit alert to my account. On XX/XX/2023, I received a phone message from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX telling me that they were trying to contact me about my recent credit card application the problem was again I had not applied for a credit card with any bank. I proceeded to call XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX and informed them that I had not applied for a credit card. I then opened an account in XXXX to check the hard inquiries on my account and also notice that there was another attempt to open a credit card under my name on XXXX XXXX XXXX. I also called them and informed them that this was a fraudulent application they told me that they would cancel the application and report it as fraudulent. I then called XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX to freeze my credit.

Consumer Complaint: I've provided this information along with photo evidence to Chase and they denied me my money back. I returned the products back, XXXX lost my packages, and the merchant won't return my money. To provide a comprehensive understanding of the timeline and events, I would like to present the following information : On XX/XX/XXXX, I initiated the process of returning the purchased purses to XXXX XXXX and contacted their customer service to request return labels. XXXX XXXX subsequently emailed me a link to generate XXXX return labels on the same day. Regrettably, I no longer have access to the label or the specific address that theyve provided in that label due to the expiration date. I have included photographs of the label generation email for your reference and Ive provided the links to the return labels. On XX/XX/XXXX, I dropped off the packages at a XXXX location, using the same box that was sent by XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I realized I havent heard back after several weeks had passed and Im still out of money. I reached out to XXXX XXXX to inquire about the status of my return. They initiated a XXXX claim on my behalf. However, on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX informed me that the claim had been denied, could not be reopened, and that I would have to contact XXXX to see why it was denied. I was not provided with any details or reasons for the denial by XXXX, making it exceedingly difficult to address the issue effectively. In my subsequent communication with XXXX, I discovered that I had not been provided with a claim number from XXXX XXXX, rendering XXXX unable to assist me directly. On XX/XX/XXXX, I examined the tracking details for my packages and was dismayed to learn that they could not be delivered and were being disposed of by XXXX. Frustrated by the lack of progress, I took the initiative to open a XXXX investigation through their online portal using the provided tracking numbers. On XX/XX/XXXX, I initiated a dispute with Chase, seeking resolution regarding this transaction. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from XXXX inquiring whether I had received a replacement order or my original package. Unfortunately, I did not receive a replacement, and my original package remains undelivered to this day. I then received a letter than Chase denied my dispute.

Consumer Complaint: Chase credit card dispute in the amount of {$2400.00}. I disputed XXXX XXXXXXXX / XXXX XXXX charges with Chase dispute department that took place over a few days in XXXX XXXX I am disputing these charges as I cancelled in the proper timeframe and should be fully refunded. Chase dispute department did not perform a full investigation which would include recorded conversations with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX They also failed to provide dates and times on the attached documents they sent me ( attached for your review ). When I spoke with an XXXX agent ( XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX ) at XXXX he told me the following : Case XXXX XXXXXXXX {$2400.00} this amount was refunded Date of travel for this case is XXXX XXXX XXXX Case XXXX XXXXXXXX {$1700.00} This is still pending in Accounting department of XXXX. No one was able to provide any update on this for me. When I spoke with Chase and asked what is the difference between Transaction Amount and Merchant Amount they weren't able to explain to me why there is a difference in amount. The case numbers that are in the attached - mailed by Chase do not match the case numbers that I noted above after speaking directly with XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. I am requesting the CFPBs assistance in recovering {$2400.00} owed based on my credit card statement. It seems XXXX charged me more than what XXXX charged. Thank you for your assistance! XXXX

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 my wife and I went to the XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX NC. We made a deposit of XXXX When I got home, I log into my account and I could see the deposit. On XX/XX/2023 I log into my account again and the deposit was gone. The account did not show a record of the deposit it only showed the XXXX withdrawal that made at the same time as the deposit. I called Chase Customer service after talking multiple people, I was told I need to go the branch where I made the deposit. I went the branch and spoke with the teller he remembered me and my wife and us making the deposit. I spoke with his supervisor she also remembered us. The supervisor went into the system and tried to find the deposit after a few minutes she asked me if I could sit down and she will continue to try and find a deposit. After about 30 minutes, she came to where I was sitting and said that she could not find the deposit and she could not find the check. She then asked me if I could wait till the end of the business day to see if she could find the deposit. Meanwhile, my wife called and spoke to the branch manager, which said that they would try and find the check had been sent to central district somewhere, and that the check was not lost. Where I come from if you dont know where something is there it is lost. I was led to believe that the sorting area where the check was sent to was a local XXXX finding out that it was out of state, and it will be days before they could even begin to look for the check. I am out of XXXX from where I can see because you dont know where the check is and the money is not out is not in my account. I was not given a timeline on when I should speak with the issuer sure about putting a stop payment on the check as a matter fact,

Consumer Complaint: I am trying to recover/claim from Chase Bank XXXX check # XXXX to the pay order of {$5200.00}. The date of issue : XX/XX/XXXX by XXXX XXXX, Nevada XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, NV, XXXX, approved for the XXXX XXXX Assistance Program for applicant. The check arrived to the address on or around XX/XX/XXXX. Without consent, a former tenant took the check and deposited into his Chase Checking Account through the ATM at the XXXX and XXXX bank. His bank account was frozen and then closed within a week. The {$5200.00} check was cashed and the funds were held without an explanation by Chase Bank in a " special '' account since XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted Chase Bank several times always leading to nothing. We buried my dad on XX/XX/XXXX. The power of attorney had expired and the focus went into handling my dads affairs. It was to early to know what to do at this time. I was the only person handling all of his affairs. My dads assets were under {$25000.00} and probate is not required as stated by the state of Nevada. There was also no will. I took ownership on XX/XX/XXXX of the property in, XXXX XXXX, NV by a deed upon death document. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sold my property. I paid off my dads debt and also his reverse mortgage loan that had started the foreclosure process. I also filed my dads tax return. I received a 1099 for the {$5200.00} from the office of the comptroller even though my dad or myself never received the funds. To claim the funds, I presented all of the necessary documents needed for release to a Chase banker as required by the State of Nevada : Small estate Affidavit, Affidavit of Heirship, my dads Death Certificate, my dads drivers license, my passport, copy of the deed upon death, copy of the payoff spreadsheet for the property. I was told that I needed a document from probate showing that I was the Executor of the Estate. My dads total assets were under {$25000.00} and a deed upon death was left to his heir, myself. There was no probate required in the state of Nevada. It has now been almost 2 years. Chase Bank has given me the runaround and is keeping the funds that do not belong to them.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Chase Card Services to open a dispute for the charge. I explained the nature of the dispute, was put on hold for a moment, and the person came back and immediately said I was not eligible and the dispute was closed. I had not even been given an opportunity to provide documentation for the dispute. I requested to speak with a supervisor and was connected to XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX in the dispute department. She reiterated the same statement the previous person made and said I was not eligible. She was short and curt. Every time I tried to speak, she interrupted me to say the same thing, the merchant provided the service and you must pay. I tried numerous times to explain that the merchant did not provide the service according to the Contract. She refused to listen. I tried giving examples of situations that related, she told me they were irrelevant. She said, you stayed, you pay. I explained why we stayed ( because we were told things would be fixed, we were on vacation and had no where else to go, we were trying to work with the merchant to resolve the issues. ) She cut me off every time I tried to say anything. I asked to speak with someone above her, and she refused. I repeated this request, and she said if I wanted to talk to someone else to call back and do it. I asked to be transferred to someone above her, she refused. This escalated into an argument and we hung up. The original dispute follows, however I was never given an opportunity to give this information to Chase before they closed my dispute item within 3 minutes of me opening it. ) XX/XX/2023 Chase Card Services Dear Sir or Madam : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX, FL XXXX XXXX XXXX I am writing to dispute a transaction regarding a recent XXXX XXXX I booked a home with XXXX in XXXX, FL ( confirmation XXXX ) from XXXX XXXX XXXX, which totaled {$1800.00} on my Chase Freedom card. On XX/XX/XXXX, after checking in, I contacted XXXX about several issues with the home, including the garbage disposal, kitchen sink, and dishwasher which were not operable. I was told that local management would respond to resolve them. On XX/XX/XXXX, a repairman called to say that he had tried to access the home but we werent home and he could hear our dog barking and didnt go inside. I explained that we were out for the day at XXXX and tried to schedule with him for later that evening or the following morning, but he said he was unable. There were several other issues that became a problem, including the washing machine that leaked water all over the garage, that also needed fixing. I called the following day, XX/XX/XXXX, to schedule with him for another time, but there was no answer. I left a voicemail after the third unanswered call. I then sent an email to XXXX. I did not receive a response to either the phone message or the email. On XX/XX/XXXX, I tried again to schedule a time for the repairs by calling and then texting the repairman from management. I again received no response. On XX/XX/XXXX, I still had not received a response from local management or from XXXX, so I texted and called XXXX again. I was told that local management would be contacting be as soon as possible. I also later sent a second email to XXXX ; I did not receive a response. On XX/XX/XXXX, still nothing from local management, no response from the repairman, and an ever-growing list of problems in the home. I contacted XXXX again and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was denied this and told that the person I was speaking with would reach out to local management directly and call me back within 30 minutes. I explained all of the problems in the home and requested a full refund for the cost I paid, {$1800.00}. I received a call back from XXXX saying that they spoke with local management who would come fix the issues if I were to give them permission to enter the house with the dog when I am not there. I explained that, as it was nearing the end of Day 8, I only had one day remaining on my reservation and that even if a repairman could come the following day and fix all of the many issues ( which is very doubtful ), it would be my last day. My family and I would have stayed our entire reservation with no resolution whatsoever and a plethora of problems. The XXXX customer service representative said she would discuss this with local management and call me back. On Friday, XX/XX/XXXX, after having checking out of the home, a supervisor from XXXX called me to discuss the problems and apologize for the condition of the home. She said she would be contacting local management to resolve the compliant and address my refund request. On Monday, XX/XX/XXXX, the supervisor called me to say she had spoken with local management and offered a refund of {$180.00} for the loss of amenities listed in the description of the home. I explained that was not an acceptable resolution for a reservation that cost us over {$1800.00} and asked if I could speak with local management directly to discuss this. She said local management does not generally deal with customers and that I could not speak with them. She advised me to accept the {$180.00}. I reiterated the list of issues with the home we rented and rejected the {$180.00}. I believe XXXX will consider the issue resolved and take no further consideration of my complaint if I accept their consolation. Therefore, I am disputing the charge and requesting your assistance for a full refund for the cost of this reservation in the amount of {$1800.00} on the basis that the home was not as described in the listing ; many of the necessary appliances were broken and unusable ; local management did not return our calls to schedule repairs during our stay ; the home was not in the condition promised by XXXX when I booked it ; and I had to spend an exorbitant amount of time contacting XXXX and local management about the issues, which detracted from an enjoyable vacation and remained unresolved. Local management has refused to even speak to me and the supervisor at XXXX stated that only local management has the authority to issue a refund. I also filed a complaint with the XXXX XXXX XXXX, but XXXX has not responded to it as of yet. The issues are listed below with photos for documentation. I also have videos I can send by email if desired. Garbage disposal did not work Kitchen sink did not drain was backed up with filthy water ; we couldnt wash dishes or use the kitchen sink Dishwasher could not be run because of the draining issue ( the plumbing was connected to the sink and disposal and nearly flooded the sink when we tried running it ) Washing machine leaked tons of water all over garage floor ( with a tv and electrical cords in the water ) and could not be run during our stay ; the leaking soapy water created a hazard and my son slipped on it and fell in the garage Microwave was rusted and dirty Freezer was rusted and dirty Multiple holes in the walls No ceiling lights in bedrooms 2 and 3 ; no light switches All 5 smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms were constantly chirping and in need of batteries or replacement ; we finally had to disconnect them from the ceiling to make them stop Bedroom mattresses have springs poking up, sagging badly, in poor condition and extremely uncomfortable to try to sleep on ; they need replacing immediately Master bathroom toilet seat broken and slid off every time someone tried to use the toilet Blinds in living room are broken There is silverware for only 6 people, while the home is listed to accommodate 8 people Listing boasts a foosball table but the ball was missing so game couldnt be played and a pool table, but the cue stick was broken

Consumer Complaint: InXX/XX/XXXX I found out that chase bank paid taxes on my property there was XXXX past due. The reason for that I have had XX/XX/XXXX3 times missed work and was off on XXXX. My house payment had been made every month. My house payment was XXXX dollars They not only pans the XXXX past due they also paid XXXXfor the following year. My house pay went up to XXXX a month. I have not been able to get a list of charges. I paid a lot of money trying to get out of that higher house payment. I have a account at chase bank the only thing I use it for is my house payment. I have a retirement check that goes in there once a month for XXXX dollars. Its been a nightmare dealing with these guys. They would take the money I put in there and put it on the escrow money owed with out paying the My hour payment. There was a mix up with my XX/XX/XXXXmoney it did get put into the account for a few months. I went to mediation chase wouldnt remove any of the charges they also raised the amount owed on my house. They didnt have any information on the charges. All of this has cost me a lot of money. This was covid related I ask him about why he had pay those taxes. He said to protect his interests. There is at least XXXX in equity. I believe his interests were just fine. I believe it was totally wrong what they did they have put a lot of pressure on me and Im still under a XX/XX/XXXX for XX/XX/XXXX. I would like them to refund some of my money. I know chase back received billions from covid relief that was tax payer money it wouldnt have cost them nothing to let it ride for a few months until I catch up.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2022 I was struggling to make my minimum payment. I contacted them to work something out. They enrolled me in a program that closes my account, no longer charging interest or late fees and they would automatically take $ 33 monthly payments until the balance is cleared. The account disappeared from my app and the {$33.00} payments have been coming out of my checking account for 12 months. I have NEVER received a phone call, mail, or secure message in the app stating there was any issue and since the payments were being taken I assumed there was no issue. Fast forward to last week when the account appeared back in my app with a balance of over {$1000.00} higher then when I started on the re-payment program. When I contacted them last week they are stating the the first payment from XXXX of 2022 didnt go through and that un-enrolled me from the program, I never received anything stating this and they continued to take the monthly payment. When I asked if they could work with me to fix it ( either re-enroll me and waive the fees from the last year or give me my payments back ) I have been met with nothing but attitude from customer service representatives and lack of compassion. I asked for a supervisor and they said they would call me back. After not hearing back for a week I called them again. They said a supervisor called me but didnt leave a message. I can provide my cell bill showing no calls were made to me and the representative said Ill have a supervisor call you back but they are going to say the same thing, when I asked why the payments were being taken if I wasnt enrolled in the program she said because you authorized them, I told her I authorized the payments for the sole purpose of being in the program and if I wasnt in the program the payment should not have been taken and I would have know then there was a problem. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I received an email from Southwest Airlines about a promotion regarding their Chase credit card. They stated that I would get XXXX points if I were to spend {$1000.00} within the 1st 3 months of opening the card. The offer expired on XX/XX/2023. On XX/XX/2023, I proceeded to apply for the card and was approved. I received XXXX points. On XX/XX/2023, I called Chase customer service regarding the rest of my points. I had already spent well over {$1000.00} on flights. They stated that I was supposed to apply for another Rapid Rewards card and the one that I applied for doesn't qualify. I told the agent that that is not what my email showed. I told them the whole point of applying for the card is to get the XXXX points. They stated that they could not give me my points. I asked the supervisor if I could send him the email that I received. He stated that there was no way for him to forward my email to anyone. I kept my end of the bargain. I just want my XXXX points as they advertised. I am forwarding you the email that I received.
