Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2023 I refinanced my home and reached a written settlement with JPMCB Chase Card Services. The account was Settled in Full for {$3800.00}, with the agreement that the account would appear on my credit report with a XXXX ( {$0.00} ) balance, and the account status would be " Paid. '' JPMCB Chase Card Services accepted and deposited my {$3800.00} check from the Title Company, marked as Settlement in Full. However, AFTER the payment was received, JPMCB Chase Card Services reported my account as " Charged Off '' with a balance of {$2500.00} on XX/XX/2023. This report has remained every month since XX/XX/2023, and this account on my credit report is still showing a " Derogatory '' account status, rather than the promised " Paid '' status, and it is still showing an account balance of {$2500.00}, rather than the Settled in Full balance of XXXX ( {$0.00} ). As a result of this " Derogatory '' report and falsely reported " Amount Past Due, '' my credit score has dropped each month since it was falsely reported.

Consumer Complaint: I made a payment ( XXXX ) to my card equal to a purchase I had made on my card on XX/XX/2023 not in excess of my limit ( XXXX ). With no notification whatsoever, my card was suspended / available limit set to XXXX. I only found this out after attempting to use my card and it was declined. I called the toll-free and spoke to three ( 3 ) Chase reps, none of whom could not explain to me why my the remainder of my limit was not accessible and that my card would be unusable for 7 days. I was told by the third customer service rep that my options were ask for a credit limit increase ( which probably would not fix the issue ) or just wait the 7 days.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I took advantage of an offer from my credit card with Chase Visa, called My Chase Plan. This took a large purchase of mine from XXXX in the amount of {$580.00} and broke it into a payment plan of {$32.00} over 18 months, which I accepted. My obligation was to pay the " Interest Savings Balance '' each month, which I complied with. However, because of the way Chase deceptively handles its bookkeeping on various transactions, money was funneled from other credits or purchase cancellations on my Visa account into paying off my payment plan in two months. In essence : Chase took money due back to me on my Visa account and without my authority, paid off My Chase Plan. This left me in a far worse situation in the months following because I had incredibly large purchases in XXXX and XXXX. My Chase Plan is a deceptive marketing ploy that has left me financially worse off than I would have been without it.

Consumer Complaint: The existence of a derogatory rating on my account is causing me significant concern. I am deeply worried about its potential impact on my credit. It has already resulted in the denial of a recent loan application and an increase in the interest rates on my existing credit accounts. I want to emphasize the severe financial and emotional distress that this negative rating has caused me and will continue to cause until it is resolved.

Consumer Complaint: Hello. Please help me. I have been trying to speak with Chase Auto for a few months because they are hurting my credit. I have spoken with them many times. I have tried to plead with them and also to reason with them, but they don't care. I have tried to send them letters explaining the situation, but they don't respond. It is very sad that Chase Auto is just deciding to hurt my credit for no reason at all. Please help me. I have never paid 30 days late in my life. I didn't pay 30 days late to Chase Auto either. They are marking me XXXX days late for XXXX of 2023. I have proof I didn't pay them late either. My XXXX payment was due on XX/XX/XXXX. That same day I called Chase to try and make a payment over the phone. It was a Friday. Chase told me the department which handled auto payments was a different department and they had to transfer me. When they tried to transfer me, I was told that department wasn't answering, and they may have closed already. I asked if I could pay them since the other department was closed, but they said no. They gave the number to the other department, but I couldn't get a hold of them. I then tried paying online, but their online system would not allow me to schedule a payment for same day. I paid them anyways because I never pay late, but the system scheduled the payment for the XXXX XXXX XXXX. It would not let me pick an earlier day. I also have proof of that. I called Chase the next week and I told them what happened, but they didn't care. Since then, I have been calling numerous times since it wasn't fair that Chase wouldn't take my payment over the phone and their online system would not accept payment for the same day either. I keep getting excuses or people that don't want to help me. Because I am a XXXX XXXX my credit is important for equipment and supplies, and this is really hurting me. Please help me as this is costing me business and money.

Issue: Trouble using your card
Subissue: Credit card company won't increase or decrease your credit limit
Consumer Complaint: Chase dropped my credit limits on XX/XX/XXXX, on one of the cards they dropped my limit from {$18000.00} to {$2700.00}. At this time, I kept a balance of {$1700.00} which would have been less than 10 % usage. The other changes were from {$10000.00} to {$2500.00} and {$4200.00}. Despite having kept an excellent credit history by paying off more than the minimum due and being responsible about my credit use, Chase still decided to reduce my credit limits by these amounts which significantly affected my credit report. My usage went from 10 % to 50 % or more on these cards. I even accidentally maxed out one card paying for online courses because I had not been aware of the decrease. When I asked to have my original limit restored they said they'd have to pull a credit report to begin the process which seems very convenient for them. I explained that my credit took a hit because of their limit decrease so my credit report would be weaker as a result. Its no coincidence that they dropped them by this much because this essentially prevents me from being able to justify a higher credit limit. On top of the strategic manipulation of my spending power, the reasons for why they took this action in the first place are lies. They said that I had a high balance - I do not. They said that they might have gotten wrong or outdated information from the Credit Bureaus, that's also not true. I have been a long time customer of Chase and am very disappointed to be experiencing this. I'm essentially getting penalized for having a low balance and maintaining my credit. I would like my credit limits restored or close to what they were originally. Additionally, I've paid all my balances in full so there should be 0 excuses about my balances in the future.
