Consumer Complaint: Hello, I am writing in response to a debt you guys claim I own. I do not believe that I owe this debt or what you say I owe and want some more explanation on it. Are you familiar with something called 15 U.S.C Sec. 1681i ( a )? It states that if you can't provide the proof that I am requesting below, then this account must be deleted. I want this account deleted from all 3 credit bureaus if it has been sent to them, if not I want you guys to cease collection if you can not give me my request in this letter and to be emailed/mailed proof of deletion if ALL the information is not 100 % and correct. Under the " Fair Credit Reporting Act '' where it states By Law, I have the rights to challenge anything I am not sure is accurate. This is an account that I do not recognize. Pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Section 809 ( b ), Validating Debts, I respectfully request that you provide me with the following : 1. Agreement with the original creditor that authorizes you to collect on this alleged debt and/or verification that this alleged debt was assigned or sold to you. 2. The agreement bearing my signature stating that I have agreed to assume the debt 3. Valid copies of the debt agreement stating the amount of the debt and interest charges 4. Proof that you are licensed to collect debts in the State of Ohio 5. Complete payment history on this account along with an accounting of all additional charges being assessed 6. The amount of the debt and name of the original creditor 7. Your license numbers and Registered Agent or Agent of Service. Please respond with ALL of the information that I requested above. Your non-compliance with my request will also be construed as an absolute waiver of all claims to enforce the debt against me and your implied agreement to compensate me for court costs and attorney fees if I am forced to bring this matter before a judge. I am asserting my rights under the federal and state Fair Debt Collection Practices Acts and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including these rights, because I have disputed this debt in writing, you must obtain verification of the debt or a copy of the judgment against me, and any attempt to collect this debt without validating it, violates the FDCPA. Be advised that I am and will be keeping accurate records of all correspondence from you and your company, including recording all phone calls and emails/texts I have gotten or will get, and I will not hesitate to report violations of the law to my State Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission and the XXXX XXXX XXXX . I have disputed this debt therefore, until it is validated, your information concerning this debt is assumed to be inaccurate. Accordingly, if you have already reported this debt to any credit-reporting agency ( CRA ) or Credit Bureau ( CB ) , then you must immediately inform them of my dispute with this debt. Reporting information that you know to be inaccurate or failing to report information correctly violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act 1681s-2. Should you pursue a judgment without validating this debt, and your failure to comply with the FDCPA, I will inform my lawyer and request that the case be pursued further along with contacting the FDCPA, Attorney General 's Office, and ALL Credit Bureau 's. Thanks.

Consumer Complaint: I originally held a debt with XXXX XXXX XXXX about 3 years ago from the submission date of this complaint. I called to discuss with their customer service representative before the debt was sent to collections, and it was agreed that the debt was invalid. XXXX XXXX XXXX sent my debt to collections anyways to a company called XXXX XXXXy, if it was in error or out of spite I am not sure. I was able to successfully dispute that debt on my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX and it was removed from my credit report promptly. It appears as though this debt was sold to I.C. Systems around XX/XX/XXXX. This was done without first notifying them that the debt was found invalid already on the part of XXXX XXXX, and they recently published another collection remark on my credit report for the same debt account. As far as I'm aware, it is illegal to duplicate a mark on someone's credit twice for the same debt account, regardless of if it's valid or invalid. This puts either I.C. Systems or XXXX XXXX at risk for litigation, as it goes against the Fair Credit Reporting Act and could potentially be considered harassment or an attempt to damage my credit in retaliation for successfully disputing it. Note, it has been disputed again, and found invalid on XX/XX/XXXX. This debt has been found invalid by each of the 3 credit reporting bureaus as well. I would like to have this matter dealt with and this debt dropped. It's an invalid debt stemming from either a clerical error or miscommunication on the part of a customer service representative. I would like to put an end to the harassment and attempts to damage my credit, and if possible I would like to see legal ramifications levied against XXXX XXXX for selling invalid debt to another collection agency, and against I.C. Systems for double reporting an invalid debt to a credit bureau. In addition, XXXX XXXX XXXX should be held liable for going against a verbal agreement and selling invalid debt to collections, but that is a matter for the collections companies to deal with and not me. I've done my duty of disputing this debt on multiple occasions through multiple companies. I have reached out directly to I.C. Systems to dispute the debt with them today as well. I think 3 years of weekly to daily calls and emails is more than enough to constitute harassment, not to mention they never leave a voicemail so it is impossible to identify the company or account and dispute it with them without calling and being harassed and told to pay up. Please put an end to this matter once and for all.

Consumer Complaint: This debt collector engaged in abusive, deceptive and unfair practices of the FDCPA which prohibits. They furnish this account that we didnt agree upon and I didn't sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by two parties and I did not participate in any of it, more so they didnt follow the proper 5 step validation procedure which makes this unfair practices. According to FDCPA Im entitled to {$1000.00} per violation and clearly they violated my rights. I am not liable for this debt and do not have a contract with them. They have not provided me with any of the documents I continuosly ask for.
