They agreed and I paid my debt and they are now not helping remove this off my credit. I need them to remove this off my credit. I am a Veteran who fought for this country and I hope they can be a man of their word and remove this off my credit.

Consumer Complaint: Dear XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I am writing to demand an immediate cease and desist of all collection activities related to the alleged debt associated with account number XXXX & XXXX. I also request that you remove this fraudulent account from my credit report within four ( 4 ) days of receiving this letter. Failure to comply will result in litigation for violations under 15 U.S. Code 1692e ( 12 ). I have not validated this alleged debt, and my failure to dispute its validity does not imply admission of liability. I have not received any documentary evidence, such as a trilateral contract, establishing your right to collect on this debt. Your furnishing of this alleged debt to my consumer report without prior validation violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). This constitutes fraud, including the violation of 15 U.S. Code 1692d ( 4 ) ( debt parking ). This was paid when we switched our services, and they were in the process of merging with XXXX XXXX XXXX. The collection was placed last year under XXXX XXXX XXXX. I disputed it with XXXX and it was removed from my credit report. They reported it again this year under XXXX XXXX with a slightly lower amount. I have disputed XXXX with XXXX, with proof that they deleted it last year, and reported again this year, and XXXX will not remove. This is an unfair practice, as they can not just reduce a non existent debt and under XXXX different company names.
