The company 's actions are a result of identity theft. I have never heard of the company and I am not in any contractual agreement with the company. The companies actions have violated my consumer rights under federal law and have caused me personal injury. The company is civilly liable to me under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Consumer Complaint: Subject : Request for Debt Validation - Urgent Action Required Hello, I have no record or knowledge of any dealings with your company. Accordingly, I am formally requesting a complete validation of this alleged debt, as granted by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). Please provide the following within 30 days from the date of this letter : XXXX. Complete Validation : Kindly furnish original documentation including the original creditor 's details, the account number, the bill of sale, and relevant supporting documents. XXXX. Proof of Consent : Verify your legal right to collect by providing proof of consent to furnish this information and the original contract. I would also like evidence of how you guys obtained my address. If you are unable to validate the alleged debt with the requested documentation above, I demand you cease collections and communication with me. in accordance with 15 U.S. Code 1681s-2. Consumer Complaint: This account was disputed on XX/XX/XXXX with the CFPB and deleted from my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX due to it being a result of fraud identity theft. The dispute result stated that item would not be reported by the reporting agency I.C. System, Inc, however, the same agency reported the item on XX/XX/XXXX three months later, violating the agreement and going against the ruling of the CFPB. This account was re-reported to my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX. As a result I was denied on my rental application the same day that I applied which was XX/XX/XXXX. At this point this account has caused enough problems after Ive already proven that it is not mine. This account and debt do NOT belong to me and are a result of identity theft! There are many inaccuracies in the information on the account in question. My name, the account was used at an address that I have never lived in or been associated with, the email address on file does not belong to me, and I have not physically lived in XXXX or rented or owned an apartment or home since XXXX. I have NEVER had any services with XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I switched phones carriers from XXXX to XXXX. XXXX required that I return the two cell phones that were on my contract. I took the phones to the sprint store and handed them over to an employee there. More than XXXX months later, I received a bill from XXXX for the two phones. XXXX claimed I never returned the merchandise. Because so much time had passed, I no longer had the receipts and the store which I returned the equipment to had closed down. I know of two other people who had similar issues with equipment returned to that particular store. It appears the XXXX employees there were taking returned cell phones and never reporting them to XXXX. I believe that this is the reason that particular store closed down. I have spoken to XXXX several times and can not resolve this debt.

Consumer Complaint: An alleged debt was placed on my credit report from I C Systems without an notification before hand for the company XXXX. I called I C Systems and asked why I did not received any correspondence before the alleged was placed on my credit report. I C systems responded by claiming they had mailed a letter to a so call address that there are aware that I no longer lived. How do I know this, I C Systems updated my credit report with my most up to date address, this is proof that they indeed knew my correct address and refused to send me correspondence before placing an collections on my credit report. Another instance of how they do not follow the rules that govern them. Moreover I have proof that this alleged debt was paid to the original creditor, and therefore I do not owe the debt that is being reported on my credit report by I C systems. I called I C Systems to rectify this problem and they have no interest in doing so which forces me to write this complaint. Attached is a copy of my XXXX receipts, along with the confirmations numbers and tickets numbers. This alleged debt is to be removed immediately as it is fraudulent. Neither is the alleged debt to be updated to paid in full as the debt was NOT paid to the collection agency but to the original creditor. Consumer Complaint: Today I noticed a collection on all three credit reporting agencies ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ). The original creditor is XXXX XXXX XXXX and the collection agency is as follows I C SYSTEM, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MN XXXX, ( XXXX ) XXXX. I was not aware that I owed this debt. I was not notified of this debt. On XX/XX/XXXX my husband and I called I C System at XXXX XXXX. and spoke with XXXX XXXX. Her employee number is XXXX. I asked her, " How did IC System verify this debt ''. She stated they have no way of verifying the debt and do not have to. She said they only follow what the original creditor told them to do. I asked what address did they have on file. They said XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, TN XXXX. However, I lived at an entirely different address in a different city on that date, I moved to my new address in XXXX of last year and have a lease to prove it. Before that, I lived with my mom at a different address. I asked I C System how they notified me of the debt and they said by text message on XXXX the XXXX of XXXX. The number they gave me was ( XXXX ) XXXX. However, I contacted XXXX XXXX and they verified I had that number from XXXX until XXXX. Then I updated my number to ( XXXX ) XXXX from XXXX to current. I asked I C Sytem did they mail me verification or notified me by mail and she stated no. I asked if they notified me by email and she said they never had my email. The Consumer Financial Bureau ( CFPB ) states, " Make sure the bill is yours and shows your correct name, and billing address. '' However, I was not provided a chance to verify any of this information. Instead, this company took it upon itself to place this on my credit report without giving me a chance to verify the debt. - The Consumer Financial Bureau ( CFPB ) states, Before a debt collector can report your debt to a credit reporting company, the debt collector must do any XXXX of the following : Speak with you in person about the debt, Speak with you by telephone about the debt, Mail you a letter about the debt and wait a reasonable amount of time ( generally 14 days ) for a notice that the letter wasnt delivered, or Send you an electronic communication about the debt and wait a reasonable amount of time ( generally 14 days ) for a notice that the message wasnt delivered. If a debt collector sends you a validation notice about a debt, it means they have satisfied their requirement to contact you and, in general, can begin to report the debt to credit reporting companies. However, I never received notification or verification of the debt in any way listed above. I recorded the phone conversation between the representative and I for my protection. I am completely disgusted at how debt collection agencies feel as if they can do whatever they want.

Consumer Complaint: I received a collection notice for {$590.00} from I.C. System for services rendered from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to an address in the state of California. I have never lived in the state of California. Nor do I know anyone in the state of California. I have never given anyone permission to use my information to open an account. For some reason this collection account keeps getting passed along to a new company at least once a year. I have spoken with I.C. System directly and informed them that this is not my bill. I have also filed an Identity Theft Affidavit with XXXX various times in the past to no avail. It appears to get cleared up with the present collection agency, then resurfaces with another collection agency. Im not sure why XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX would keep passing this information on to other collection agencies when I have conveyed to them that this is not my bill and I have never lived in the state of California. I just want this to get cleared up.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I.C. System Inc. keeps submitting fraudulent " debt collection '' against my credit reports ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ). XXXX, XXXX and XXXX all took off the fraudulent collection status from XXXX and they took it off again XX/XX/XXXX but then it looks like I.C. System Inc. resubmitted the collection again to XXXX who reasserted the collection status against my credit record. The account charge is from XXXX XXXX who I called and affirmed that they have no record of my account with them ever being passed due. The name for the bill is " XXXX XXXX '' and that person is not me and has never been an alias for me nor has ever been a legal name of me. That person happens to have used a partial address as where I reside and I.C. System Inc. has associated my name and phone # with that name. They have refused to remove the association with my name despite agreeing that the default account the credit agencies having agreed that the account XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, so possibly XXXX ) is not an account associated with me at all. All three credit agencies removed the collection status and do not have XXXX as an alias for me. My request is for I.C. System Inc. to stop associating " XXXX XXXX XXXX '', " XXXX XXXX '', " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and variations of that name ) with my credit history, phone number, and personal identifying information AND to STOP submitting collections against my credit that are not mine and specifically stop submitting collections and debts attributed to XXXX ( and variations of that name ) against me. The multiple submissions against me is harassment since I have contacted I.C. Systems Inc. 3 times and contacted all three credit agencies and XXXX who all agree that person and the debts are not mine. Note : XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX took off the collection as of XX/XX/XXXX and t hen XXXX reposted the collection status on XX/XX/XXXX. It is unreasonable to have to check and dispute this charge every couple of days and causing me material harm in gaining credit and paying hire interest on credit. I talked to I.C. Systems Inc. XXXX times ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX? XXXX XXXX?, XXXX XXXX ) and the last time on XX/XX/XXXX at approximately XXXX AM, when I asked XXXX XXXX if he can officially disassociate my identity and phone # from the " XXXX '' collections, he stated that I would have to contact the credit agencies. I conveyed that I had already done that and he said " You are asking me to contact the credit agencies for you. '' and I said, " No that is not correct, I have already contacted them and they took off the collection and now your company has fraudulently resubmitted a collection claim against me. If you do not stop then I'll have to contact the Consumer Finance Agency and report you but I'd like to handle this with you directly. '' XXXX then said " .... I am going to hang up on you '' and hung up. I talked to XXXX XXXX times. All three times they were polite and helpful and acknowledged all my accounts with them are in good standing and have never been in collections. XXXX opened up an investigation on the issue and found in my favor but their Collection Agent ( I.C. Systems Inc. ) continues to harass me. XXXX advised that I contact ConsumerFinance.gov to get them to stop because the harassment is illegal.
