Consumer Complaint: A few years back, I ordered my credit report and noticed a collections. I disputed with XXXX XXXX XXXX/debt collector and advised this was not my account. I was advised that the account was in XXXX name. Well, I have never heard of nor used a fraudulent name. I asked them to provide me with verification of the negative item. Nothing was provided so they removed it from my credit. Fast forward to XX/XX/2021. I got a credit alert advising a collections has been added by IC System. Since I am a victim of identity theft and have taken necessary steps to protect my credit along with filing a police report in the past, XXXX XXXX XXXX was unable to provide accurate information. Unfortunately, I am having to dispute this again which is causing unnecessary XXXX and time. I don't understand how XXXX XXXX XXXX would sell a fraudulent account.. I am requesting a copy of the original contract between myself and the original creditor and original application with my signature.

The Credit Bureaus are reporting inaccurate information on I C SYSTEM ( Original Creditor : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ; this is in violation of the FDICs Uniform Credit Retail Credit Classification and Account Management Policy. Per FCRA, reporting must be 100 % accurate or the information must be deleted. Evaluate this reporting by making a revision of the information provided.
