Consumer Complaint: I am making a complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX because in XXXX of 2019 my account was compromised. I was aware that I had 2 lines on the account and then my phone was shut off due to lack of payment. I traveled to my local XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to find out why the phone had been shut off and why the monthly bill was now way higher than the normal. After speaking with a representative at my location I found that there were now 22-23 lines on my XXXX XXXX XXXX account. I was shocked and so was the representative, solely because I had a personal account, which should have only allowed for a total of four lines. I was then advised to leave the account as it was and open a prepaid line so that I could have use of my phone until I could get to the bottom of everything. After another call to XXXX XXXX XXXX I was told that these lines were added to my account on XX/XX/2019 in XXXX. I was in XXXX, Florida at the funeral of my grandfather and could not possibly have added lines to my account that day. The only names on the account were my own and another gentleman of whom did not have authority to make any changes on my account. I, in some way, was still deemed at fault even given this information. I had no part in these lines being added to the account and have no idea how or who added them and should not be held at fault for these fraudulent acts.
