Consumer Complaint: I was recently checking my credit report and noticed, IC System has been reporting to my credit report inaccurate and unvalidated information. They were not able to provide me with any documentation or application with my signature proving I owe this debt to IC System. I reached out to IC System, requesting validation for the alleged debt. IC System response was for me to reach out to the original creditor " XXXX ''. When I called XXXX, they were not able to locate an account for me and advised me to contact the IC System, informing them to remove the negative account from my credit report. If IC Systems purchased this alleged debt, they're claiming I owe, this agency is in violation of 15 U.S.C. 1692g. They were to notify me of this account within 14 days prior and I was not notified. I can validate this debt. I do not validate this debt. Under 15 U.S.C. 1692f a debt collector may not use any false deceptive or misleading representation or means in connection with the collection of any debt, this account is in violation.

Consumer Complaint: At the end of XX/XX/2022 ( letter was postmarked XX/XX/XXXX ) we received a letter from I.C. System, Inc. claiming they were collecting a debt of {$62.00} owed to XXXX ( XXXX ). We sent them a letter in the following week and then 2 weeks after that another letter by USPS Certified mail that we were never customers of XXXX and thus could not owe them any money. We asked them for proof that we were the ones that owed money. On XX/XX/2022 we received a response by mail from I.C. System, Inc. that they claimed was proof. It was a bill from XXXX with my same first and last name ( no middle name present ) and an address in XXXX. However, we have never lived in that state or have friends or family in that state. It is not me. At this point we decided to file a complain with CFPB on XX/XX/2022 XXXX

Consumer Complaint: 1. During spring of 2022, reviewed my credit reports and saw that I had a credit collection submitted by an unfamiliar company for an unknown debt. Contacted each credit bureau and had the collection removed. 2. Unable to contact the company that claimed the debt, i.e., XXXX. The customer support website was useless. 3. Received notice from IC Systems, the collection agency, demanding payment. 4. Sent letter to IC Systems in XXXX saying I did not owe the debt and would not pay. 5. Received notice from IC Systems in XXXX of this year increasing the amount due and demanding payment. 6. Payment coupon included with this " request for payment '' showed that the person who owes the money lives in a different state, a state in which I have never lived. 7. The amount originally claimed {$330.00}. The above-mentioned payment coupon shows an amount due of {$480.00}. 8. I'm also expected to return some equipment ; I have no idea what that would be.
