Consumer Complaint: I had a payment arrangement with GM Financial to pay off the remaining balance of my XXXX lease. I paid the balance off in full XX/XX/2021. GM Financial negatively reported 30 days late for XX/XX/2021 and 60 days late of XX/XX/2021. These payments were on time. GM Financial said that there was inaccurate reporting and a discrepancy on my account. I had to send in bank statements showing proof ; even though their records indicated that I was indeed correct. As a result of the negative reports, I had another account close because my score was reduced significantly. I have worked very hard to pay off debts and repair my credit. This has impacted my ability to find and establish housing. This was not my error and it needs to be corrected and rescored. I would like the closed account to be reopened as that was contributed to this inaccurate reporting on GM Financials ' system.

Consumer Complaint: GM Financial On XX/XX/2020 AND XX/XX/2020 a finance inquiry was posted to my credit report initiated by GM Financial. This report was published without my consent. I am aware that Pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act section 15 USC 1681b ( c ) ( 3 ) the creditor shall not furnish to any person a record of inquiries unless initiated by consumer. Also pursuant to section 15 USC 1681 b ( a ) ( 2 ) a reporting agency ( GM Financial ) can only furnish a consumer report in accordance with written instructions of consumer. Neither written instruction nor consents were initiated at ANY time. Therefore, pursuant to the above, I as a consumer have been violated and my privacy has been breached GMC responded ( ( GM Financial has received your complaint sent to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ). I have reviewed your concerns and would like to offer the following response. Our records indicate on XX/XX/2020, an application was submitted by XXXX XXXX XXXX on your behalf to GM Financial for a XXXX XXXX XXXX. Therefore, the credit inquiry you have disputed was permissible and will not be removed from your credit file. Consumer Complaint: My mortgage is through XXXX XXXX and in 2019 we ran into some trouble because we switched our bank accounts and had set up automatic withdraws unfortunately there was an error and we were never notified of the first 30 day which then developed into several because we had to pay catch up once we found out what was happening and as you can see we never ran into problems with our mortgage payment before and this also happened on an auto with the same bank and same set up. We have since been on time with our mortgage payments for the last year and I would like the lates removed from our credit because it is bringing our scores down. The dates are XXXX. The report should only show the last 12 months. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: GM Financial has constantly reported inaccurate information, AND obtained my credit reports ( a hard inquiry ) because of an issue last year when they had to buy back a lease. Now, I made a payment on the XXXX day ( I have NEVER BEEN 30 days late ), and because they were processing my payment, they marked it as 30 days. This morning I wake up to find that GM Financial has reported me 30 days late TWICE NOW. I have never been 30 days late TWICE. They reported it for XX/XX/2021 that I was 30 days late, and for XX/XX/2021 that I was 30 days late. This has dropped my score over 90 points. I have perfect credit, and GM Financial has destroyed it.
