Consumer Complaint: I have 5 lates on my credit report that shouldn't be there. I fell behind because i got XXXX in XXXX and couldn't work for 3 weeks. I contacted GM Financial about this and they were supposed to be understanding. I made my payment as soon as I was able to in XXXX and I thought i was up to date - apparently they charged me a late fee that I wasn't aware of, my account looked fine online, so I just kept making my payments. Come to find out that a late charge was on my account that hit my credit report in XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. I can understand one late charge, because I truly was late in XXXX, knew I was going to be and called GM Financial for circumstances out of my control, but to have this continue to roll into several months is XXXX. My account is paid up to date as of now, but my credit is suffering for this. It is not fair.

Consumer Complaint: This is our second complaint now against GM Financial. After they tricked us into repossessing it, they now won't let us make payments on it. We've been calling all summer trying to get something worked out so that we can continue making our scheduled payments. Every person we talk to says we have make payments by phone, but the phone payment system says we're not eligible. Every option they have said is available to us, they find a way to block it. We mailed a payment in, they said they never received it even though tracking shows delivered at their address. When we try to get something finalized with them on the phones because the phone option doesn't work, we get placed on hold for XXXX hours and/or they " accidently '' drop our calls. We get talked to like trash by everyone we talked to. All we want to do is make our payments and they're not letting us.

Consumer Complaint: I was looking through my report and noticed a vehicle that I returned to the dealership where it's reporting completely incorrect. I had the opportunity to talk to several lawmakers and friends, and learned some basic laws in regards to voluntary or repossession of a vehicle. Under the laws of MASS and UCC 9.506 as well as State RISA and MVISA statutes, a deficiency can not be claimed unless all of the required notices were properly and timely given, and all of the allowable redemption and cure time limits were adhered to. PLEASE HAVE THEM IMMEDIATELY REMOVE

Consumer Complaint: I leased a car from GM financial in XXXX and returned it in 3 years in XX/XX/XXXX. There has been a disposition fee ( apparently if you do not extend or lease another car from GM the company charges you {$390.00}. I asked my dealership if I owe any money and he No. I went home thinking I am complete with this lease. Recently, I received one or two call and one email from GM to call them back. I replied to that email and inquired about the matter. Also called them and was not able to address the case. Now I see that they have put charge-off on my credit report and when I called the customer service they let me know they have been sending letters to my old address and I am not sure why GM did not email that letter? I requested to remove this charge-off and I will pay the remaining Ballance and the person I talked to said that is not something they would do. I was planning to lease a car from GM in the past month and I don't think I have the faith in the company anymore. I am disappointed and I this has impacted my credit score a great deal.

Consumer Complaint: Vehicle leased through GM Financial, 48 month lease matured on XX/XX/2021. The lease was paid in full in XX/XX/2021. Vehicle was traded into XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2021. Sitting in the dealership I called GM Financial to obtain the payout and the transaction was finalized. When the check for the buyout was sent to GM Financial they refused it and kept returning it XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX This was between GM Financial and XXXX XXXX having noting to do with me, my account to GM Financial was paid in full and closed. GM Financial took 3 months to finalize the paperwork with XXXX XXXX and in the meantime kept " extending '' the original lease. This was not requested, authorized or even necessary as I had already purchased another vehicle and the old vehicle was accepted as a trade in and payout provided. GM Financial extended the Lease by 3 months and each month kept reporting the payment as past due. reported past due. I tried on multiple occasions to have this corrected and GM finical instated that the past due amount was correct it is not. GM Financial has since processed the paperwork and finalized the buyout, I have received notification of same yet they are still refusing to remove the late payments from my credit history. This has had a significantly impact on my credit scope, it has reduced my score by 97 points, which has in turn put a bad mark on my credit worthiness and creditors have decreased my credit limit reducing my score even more. I want these late payments removed from my history, as it is false information reported.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/21 We turned in our old leased vehicle XXXX XXXX in XXXX PA. We decided to take out a new lease on a new vehicle that day at this dealership. When we went in to sign the loan papers we stated that they had the names in the wrong place. My husband was to be the Lessee & I the Co-lessee. They said no this was the correct way. I as the Lessee & he as the co-lessee. So everything went through. We left with the new vehicle. 1 week later I received a call from GM Finance They stated that they still had us listed on the old vehicle and that the payment was due for that car. I told them we turned it in. They said I had to call the dealer and tell them to do a close end on the old vehicle. That they had no record of a new lease. So I did just that. I talked to an appraiser there who said he would get the sales mgr. involved. I talked to the sales mgr who said he would take care of it and call me mon. with my new account number. No call. To make a long story short I have been on the phone with GM Financial XXXX & XXXX for 3 weeks trying to get this solved. The only thing that happened was we got NEW loan papers that had been corrected with names and totals to sign. This involved GM Financial running a new credit report on XX/XX/21 for the new loan papers. that XXXX submitted to them. This affected our credit score. Also we are in the process of refinancing our house. Now the loan Co. wants to know why we took on new debt as of XX/XX/21. We didn't, it was before we refinanced. I am at my wits end. Gm still has the old vehicle listed even though we turned it in a month ago. Every time I talk to someone either at the Dealer or Gm they say they will take care of it. So here we are still a month later.and still not resolved.

Consumer Complaint: My Account number with General Motors Financial is XXXX. My name is XXXX XXXX. GM Have been reporting my account to the credit Bureaus as late but actually my payments have not been late. In the year of XXXX of XXXX and XXXX of XXXX, I was given a deferment on those two months I paid a fee to have those payments put to the end of the payment book. The customer service representive informed me that a payment will not be due until XXXX of XXXX. She in formed me to pay before or on XXXX of each month if not would be reported late to the credit bureaus.. All of my payments have been paid before or on the XXXX of each month but still Gm is reporting account as late.I do not understand because this is what the customer rep told me.Due to the inaccurate reporting my credit is suffering bad.Thank you very much for your help to resolve this matter. The mix up occurred when I got the two payment defered I think or my payments are posted at a latter date. Thanks.
