Consumer Complaint: In the month of XXXX, I have reach out to GM financial asking if we could defer my payment for this month due to health concerns and also the holidays. The customer representee granted me the deferment for more than the time needed. She had informed me that Gm financial defer payments by XXXX months instead of 1. During the duration of my loan I have never been late not once. The representee then mentions there will be XXXX time additional fee added to monthly payment and gave me an option rather if I could pay at the particular moment or when my next bill would be due after the deferment of payments. I agreed to the XXXX time additional fee and mention to the representee I will make the payment either before or day after. She then mentions there is a form I need to sign in order to start the deferment process and upon signing I must use a pin code to open the document. The document was signed and afterwards GM financial reports to the credit bureaus of the status of my account how my monthly payments were deferred. I then assumed then everything was taken care and I wont receive a late payment on my credit report. After GM fiancial noted on my credit report about the deferment of my payments, I then paid the XXXX time fee XXXX because it was convenient to pay the fee now instead of paying my agreed monthly car note of {$500.00} and {$210.00} together at once despite given the option to pay the XXXX time fee upon my due bill date. I contacted GM fiancial after seeing the late payment on my credit report. The customer representee then noted on my account about the removal of the late payment however its still being reported 30 days later. I am in the process of buying a house and this reporting has lowered my credit score dramatically. I have followed all that was required of me and I shouldn't have gotten a reporting of a late payment based off what was told to me from the customer representative on the day of requesting deferment of payments.

Consumer Complaint: This lease company is a fraud. The company listed on my credit report is not the company that we did business with. The company leased out a vehicle they new had damage to the parts, they refused to fix it than they received the vehicle back and they are lying and saying they did not receive the vehicle when infact they did. The company that is not listed received over {$8000.00} for a six month lease on a vehicle they received back and that was not in the contract. Now it on my credit report looking like I did the fraud when I did nothing wrong, this the fraudulent dealings of this leasing company that is not even listed on my credit report, the company listed on my credit report is not the company I had contracted with. This entire car/auto loan is not a loan it is a lease and everything listed on my credit report regarding this account is wrong, it is fraud.

Consumer Complaint: I am furious with the way that XXXX is running its organization and ruining my credit. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX dropped my XXXX XXXX from XXXX to XXXX due to a paid in full settlement to GM Financial and not only that, they documented that the payment was late. How can a payment be late if the settlement was paid in full and the balance will reflect {$0.00} after 30 days? On top of that XXXX marked the account as a current repossession when the vehicle was repossessed in XXXX. My credit report shows how XXXX increased my score when I was paying this account down, and now that I have fully satisfied the settlement they chose to drop my credit score XXXX points and report the account late after I paid off the settlement amount, which is a disgrace. Every time I turn around XXXX continues to keep taking a way points without accurate reasoning. Every time I call, they never have an explanation on why they keep dropping my score. I see why they keep falling victim to lawsuits, because they keep ruining peoples credit just because they can. They have violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act too many times and now I am going to take action against XXXX this time because I have had enough. I have the right to fair and accurate reporting of my credit information. People have checked my credit score that I have not given permission to do so and when I call them to see if they have proof of me giving permission for my score to be checked all they say is, you have to call the people who are requesting the report. How am I supposed to do that when I don't even know who is checking it. I see it on my report and I report it to XXXX so they can stop lowering my score because of it, but they won't do nothing about it. I want XXXX to stop ruining my credit and get proof of accurate information before ruining people 's credit. I want my credit report fixed and the points added back that was taken away. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: GM Financial agreed to a trade of my XXXX XXXX XXXX after they were unable to replace the battery leaving me with a subpar car that was never allowed to charge to it's fullest b/c of the fire danger. After going through a process they agreed to have me trade in my XXXX XXXX XXXX for a XXXX XXXX XXXX. The Process was fine and took place around XX/XX/XXXX. Whenever I log into my gmfinancial account, it shows my old car, and says that I am behind on payments, which doesn't make any sense. I have been caling for over a month and no one is able to figure this out. I've been told to go to the dealer, who has already been paid for the car and told me they sent in all of the paperwork. Now, I have to make car payments on a car that I don't have possession of so they don't ding my credit but I have received no assurances that my payments will go towards my new car.

I took it in to XXXX and they could not fix it. I told them I wanted to return it and left it at the dealership. XXXX did not want to return the vehicle and GM Financial repossessed the vehicle from the dealership then they re sold it at auction and are saying I owe the rest of the money XXXX. The vehicle was a lemon and the transmission was failing I almost got into a car accident from it stopping in the middle of a busy road. I told GM financial I returned the vehicle to the dealership. I tried contacting XXXX who the credit charge is with and no one wants to help me. I returned the vehicle before 30 days and this is not my debt. I should not owe anything they sold me a unsafe vehicle.

Consumer Complaint: GM Financial repossessed my XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX in New Jersey. It was then transferred to Michigan & titled at the XXXX, MI DMV on XX/XX/XXXX. I NEVER received a Notice of Resale Date that is mandated by LAW in New Jersey that would have provided me the option to redeem my vehicle! Since they NEVER mailed me a NOTICE OF RESALE, and are trying to collect the deficiency, I mailed GM Financial, along with all three credit bureaus, a letter of dispute on XX/XX/XXXX via Certified Mail Return Receipt. I requested that GM Financial forward me ALL copies of the legal notices and proof of the Commercially Reasonable manner of the resale, ( since they sold my vehicle at auction for only {$5000.00}, but the buyer resold it for approximately {$16000.00} ). I never received the requested information/documents from GM Financial XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from GM Financial, dated XX/XX/XXXX stating that they received my inquiry letter and that additional information was needed, even though I included EVERYTHING that they would require to send me the legal notices requested ( i.e., loan number, my name, address etc. ). Then, on XX/XX/XXXX, I received another letter from GM Financial, dated XX/XX/XXXX stating that my recent dispute regarding the credit bureaus reporting of my account has been received and reviewed. For the following reasons we are unable to proceed with your request : NO specific item was requested for investigation and NO supporting documentation was received. They also included information to file a direct dispute, information I ALREADY provided GM Financial!! So, on XX/XX/XXXX, I resent my first letter that was dated XX/XX/XXXX and added my phone number and also mailed it to their XXXX XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, I received another letter from GM Financial dated XX/XX/XXXX, stating to please accept this letter as a formal notification that GM Financial was recently contacted by you in reference to the above listed account. Based on information you provided, the account may have been fraudulently established as a result of identity theft. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received the same, exact letter as the letter dated XX/XX/XXXX. This one was dated XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I mailed another letter requesting ALL copies of the legal notices and proof of the Commercially Reasonable manner of the resale of my vehicle. The ONLY communication I have received since, has been from GM Financials Bill Collectors! GM Financial is IGNORING my requests for resolution and giving me the run-around BIGTIME, as they did not comply with the mandatory requirement of the resale notice! Additionally, I have ALL my USPS INFORMED delivery copies of mail received from XX/XX/XXXX thru XX/XX/XXXX, which PROVES I NEVER received this notice!!
