Consumer Complaint: I am buying a house an needed to sell my vehicle for the ratios and closing. I overnighted the payoff check to GM Financial on Saturday XX/XX/XXXX, it was signed for by a XXXX XXXX on Monday XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX. I contacted GM Financial every day this week and they said they hadn't received it. Today they finally found it and did me a " Favor '' by posting the payoff to my account, which wont show up for at least 3 days. In the meantime I am being charged interest. This may delay the closing on my home costing me additional funds.

Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Consumer Complaint: I made a call to XXXX about unauthorized credit inquiries on my account. After speaking with Customer Service Rep, XXXX XXXX and then being transferred to Customer Service Supervisor, XXXX XXXX, I was told that there was nothing that they could do on their end without having a Letter of Dispute or Termination on Contract from the listed companies. When reaching out to the various companies they were unauthorized to run a credit check on my behalf, I was more or less told by 2 of the 5 company customer service reps that " Hard Inquiries '' fall off in 2 years and I am approaching that 2 year mark. Of course they worded it in better terms but nonetheless, this is disgraceful hearing from a company as they do not want to own up to their misuse of people 's information and as a result, the only solution that they offer is to " wait it out '' since the 2-year dismissal is approaching. These credit inquiries are affecting my XXXX and FICO scores now but these companies bank off of bad debt and do not want to remove them. The companies are as follows : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX Ran unauthorized inquiry on XX/XX/XXXX GM FINANCIAL XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX Ran unauthorized inquiry on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MN XXXX Ran unauthorized inquiry on XX/XX/XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NC XXXX Ran unauthorized inquiry onXX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX via XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, OH XXXX Ran unauthorized inquiry on XX/XX/XXXX

Issue: Getting a loan or lease
Subissue: Credit denial
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I applied to assume a lease threw GM financial. To my surprise I was denied the lease when I received there rejection letter it states that they could not grant credit due the fact I have recent collection account. I have no idea of any collection accounts. I have zero late payment and much less anything on collections. I decided to call GM financial to find out where they got this information. They could not provide any info instead told me that within 2 weeks I should be getting a letter from the CRA providing further info. A month has passed and I never received that letter. So I decide to pull all three credit reports from XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. NONE have any missed or late payments much less COLLECTIONS. I do see that GM Financial did do hard credit pull threw XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I feel they have violated the FCRA. I have attached documents supporting my complaint. The rejection letter 's reference # XXXX Thank you for your time. Hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I have a XXXX XXXX XXXX that was original financed @ GM Financial @ a 18%interest rate, After lowering the principle by payments I started a loan process for my XXXX XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I realized the monthly notes were higher than the budget I've set for myself. I called and spoke with someone @ XXXX XXXX and cancelled the process, before I had completed closed,or signed a power of attorney to release the title. I thought it was cancelled as the representative assured me. I continued my negotiations with XXXX XXXX XXXX for a better rate and monthly payment, we reached an agreement, I paid GM Financial an additional XXXX on the principle balance as per XXXX XXXX XXXX request completed all the needed paper work @ a local branch. I signed the agreement paid the appropriate licensure fees and power of attorney for title of the vehicle. The closing was on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from GM Financial stating That the car was purchased by GM and the title as sent. I know I didn't complete paper work or authorization for the vehicle to be purchased by XXXX XXXX. I have been calling all Financial institutions, since receiving the letter. XXXX XXXX is willing to send the title back after they get their funds back. This has been communicated to GM. GM has kept my XXXX dollars I paid. GM Financial have cashed the check for XXXX in the amount of XXXX ( the amount owed after my XXXX principle payment). GM Financial has also cashed a check for XXXX for XXXX XXXX. I now have two car notes to two different companies due in the latter part of XX/XX/XXXX I completed the paper work with XXXX XXXX,that is the company I want. I call GM nearly every day after being on hold from 30-60 minutes and I am getting different answers each time I call from it will be resolved in 48 hours until it could take 90 days. I always have to start the story all over to each representative and I believe he or she does not consult anyone or know the company's policy and wants just to end the call. I have not missed a payment since I had the vehicle, but I am semi-retired, I don't want to pay double. I need help to resolve this matter.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2017, I took my niece to the car dealership to look at some cars. They ran her credit and said she needed a co-signer. I was told by the salesperson that I would be able to co-sign for her vehicle after he ran my credit with the bank. I discovered later that he ran my credit 4 times with 4 different banks without my consent.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a new truck on XX/XX/2017. The truck was in XXXX XXXX, MO. I live in XXXX XXXXXXXX. All transactions where completed with documents sent back and forth via XXXX. The dealer purchased my trade-in sight unseen. Once I had signed the contract the dealer didn't like the final results and there was conflict. The dealer didn't want my trade-in once he saw it. The dealer quit communicating with me. Apparently a loan payment was missed. Once I was aware that a payment had been missed. I set up automatic payments online and all payments have been made as agreed to. I asked GM Financial to remove the late payment from my credit report due to the conflict with the dealership and the lack of communication. GM Financial has refused. I believe that GM Financial is acting in an unreasonable manner and I request that the late payment be removed from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I was tasked with short notice deployment around mid XXXX. Once it was confirmed on around the XXXX, I proceeded to call companies to get my services stopped and deferred. With GMFinancial, it doesn't seem like they respond at all to communications. When I contacted by phone around the XXXX, they kept me on hold or hung up the line. I managed to get hold of one on the XXXX and the representative told me to email the documents proving my deployment, after trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do. I attempted to do that, but their email server rejected it. " Your message wasn't delivered due to a permission or security issue. It may have been rejected by a moderator, the address may only accept e-mail from certain senders, or another restriction may be preventing delivery. '' I attempted to call over and over, but it's always the same thing. I've tried their emails, and the in-website service for " contact us '' 3 times. I've been at my deployed site for 2 weeks with no response. If this keeps up, this will impact my credit because of their irresponsibility. I can not make phone calls out here either.
