Consumer Complaint: This case started in XX/XX/XXXX when I received a bill from GM Financial ( Acct # XXXX ) stating that I owe a Miscellaneous Receivable of {$90.00}. After calling GM Financial and asked for explanation, I received a copy of a collection bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX from GM Financial ( Exhibit A ). After receiving numerous bills for the {$90.00}, I sent a letter to GM Financial ( Exhibit B ) dated XX/XX/XXXX requesting validation per Fair Debt Collections Practice Act. GM Financial continued to ignore my request by sending more bills in request of payment of the {$90.00}. To avoid any negative marks on my credit report, I paid it. Now it is XX/XX/XXXX, and GM Financials process has started again. In XX/XX/XXXX, after a phone call asking for verification of a {$230.00} Miscellaneous Receivable bill, I received a package from GM Financial of three statements from XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX totaling the {$230.00} ( Exhibit C ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I mailed a Certified Letter to GM Financial asking for validation of their validation process ( Exhibit D ) in relation to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. As a result, I received a regular bill dated XX/XX/XXXX stating a Miscellaneous Non-Taxable bill stating the same {$230.00} and no explanation to certified letter sent ( Exhibit E ).

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2017 GM Financial with whom me and my husband had a joint loan for XXXX XXXX XXXX paid the pain in the mail, the check wasnt received. We found out next month the payment hadnt been received, made a double payment. GM removed the late charge and said they would remove the 30 day late on our credit report but since have not done so. My husband and I have called them and sent many letters. We feel GM is acting unreasonable in the situation since we had great payments before and after that event. Always paying online now. We also opened a new loan with them in XXXX. The mark of 30 days late on our credit is very damaging and need some help. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: This just another one of the many issues I have had with GM Financial during the course of my loan. I have requested review of m y account on two occasions within the past 2 years because of loan payments not being applied correctly which resulted in additional finance charges. This complaint has come about due to the non reporting of my correct account balance information after I have called and complained to GMFinancial and disputed the reported incorrect information with the credit bureaus. This incorrect reporting was the cause of a disapproval for credit for a major purchase. This was listed as the deciding factor for the new credit disapproval. At the time of this complaint, my balance is XXXX ( est ) and has been reporting that way since XX/XX/2017 as XXXX ( est ), which is the last date reported by GM Financial. Additional has been requested and can/will be submitted to your agency upon request.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a previous complaint against GM Financial for this exact same matter and it was closed by the CFPB. Complaint # XXXX I don't understand how a company like GM Financial is allowed to get off the hook for falsely reporting information. As of this morning, XX/XX/XXXX, my credit report now reports my last payment as being in XX/XX/2016 and reports a balance of {$0.00}. However, I recently paid my bill and according to GM Financial I still owe them in excess of {$9000.00}. This is fraud, plain and simple, and this is affecting my credit. GM Financial is being incompetent and I believe is intentionally being disruptive and destroying people 's credit. They have refused to discuss the matter during multiple phone calls to the company. I will be speaking with an attorney and seeking financial restitution immediately if this matter is not resolved.

Consumer Complaint: This concerns GM Financial. They are showing 30 day late payment on two bureaus and an incorrect balance on 2 bureaus. I paid my XX/XX/XXXX payment which was due XX/XX/XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX which was one day late, not 30 days late. They reported to XXXX that I was on time. They reported to XXXX and XXXX XXXX that I was 30 days late in XX/XX/XXXX. I caught the account up in XX/XX/XXXX and can not have them showing 30 days late when i was not. Also, XXXX and XXXX show a balance of {$17000.00} which is incorrect and XXXX shows a balance of {$13000.00} which is correct. I made 4 payments in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to catch up. GM Financial told me that they had a system update in XX/XX/XXXX and could not report until XX/XX/XXXX. That was 4 months of non-reporting and when they did report, they reported something inaccurate to each bureau : either the balance or a 30 day late payment. I most recently spoke with XXXX today ( XX/XX/XXXX ). They tell me they reported and can not correct until the XX/XX/XXXX report. This is hurting my credit score, increasing interest amounts on anything I want to buy on credit and a low score could impact a job offer. Please assist me in solving this issue.

Consumer Complaint: To Whom It May Concern : My name is XXXX XXXX and I am disputing the balance on my account. Please see the following bank transaction history attached, which includes 10 pages. Please see the first payment made on XX/XX/XXXX ; it was made at the dealership for {$690.00}. I took possession of the vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX. The month of XX/XX/XXXX in the amount XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of XXXX dollars payments was made. Then on XX/XX/XXXX, another payment was made for {$750.00}. Now lets move now to XX/XX/XXXX, Two payments was made on XX/XX/XXXX for {$720.00} and another payment on XX/XX/XXXX for the month of XXXX ; XXXX ( Advance Payment ) of XXXX. So basically I am one month ahead. Now lets look at XX/XX/XXXX payment for XX/XX/XXXX, again Im ahead by one month. Then on the month of XXXX, XXXX another payment for XXXX ( Again advance payment for XX/XX/XXXX ). Then again in XX/XX/XXXX payment made for XX/XX/XXXX. ( Again advance payment for XXXX, XXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX another payment made in amount of XXXX. ( Again advance payment for XX/XX/XXXX ). Basically you should get the picture by now. Then in the month of XX/XX/XXXX another payment XXXX was made for XX/XX/XXXX. Since I was ahead by one month XX/XX/XXXX was the only month I didnt make a payment because I was ahead by one month. On XX/XX/XXXX payment made XXXX for the month of XXXX. Now Im not ahead. Then XX/XX/XXXX payment made XXXX for the month of XXXX, XXXX. Then on XX/XX/XXXX another payment was made {$770.00}. Now on the month XX/XX/XXXX a payment of {$1400.00}, which covered the month of XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Furthermore on XX/XX/XXXX a payment was made in the amount of {$1400.00}, which covers the month of XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. ( After this payment Im behind a month in XXXX ). Finally on XX/XX/XXXX ; I made a payment in the amount of {$2100.00} ; which should have covered the month of XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. However, I am still seeing a balance for this month of XX/XX/XXXX, which should not be.

Consumer Complaint: To Whom It May Concern : I am writing in regard to an account for which I am being collected from GM Financial. When I was married, my ex-husband and I purchased the vehicle for his use and upon our divorce, he was court ordered to assume the responsibility for the vehicle. He subsequently had the vehicle repossessed and as he is " uncollectable '' ( on and off the grid, infrequent employment and unable to locate ) - they continue to come after me. I've been divorced for 6 years now and have worked over these past years to get my credit back. I am now finally in a position to purchase a home for me and my daughter and the GM Financial debt is an obstacle. I have been in regular contact with GM Financial for 6 years and am attaching a letter I wrote to them in XX/XX/XXXX which will provide background and also attached my Judgment of Divorce. Please help us. My daughter has minimal contact with my ex-husband and I am the one providing her a safe home and foundation. I have cried, begged and pleaded with GM Financial to abide by the Courts order and ensure the liability lies where it belongs, with my ex-husband. Thank you in advance for your help. XXXX XXXX XXXX
