Consumer Complaint: Company : GM Financial Date : XX/XX/2019 ( Date of Notice0 Issue : Negative reporting to credit agencies Summary : GM Financial company reported one time 30 days of delinquency on my car loan payment. I had auto-payment set up for this account, hence I was under impression that the payments were being made in a timely matter. I received a notice from GM Financial in writing without any prior phone call nor notice in XXXX. Upon receiving a notice, I took care of the late payments right away and have asked my bank to look into the auto-pay system. I have asked the company to remove any negative reporting on my credit score, but they stated this issue should be resolved with the credit bureau. The GM Financial acknowledged electronic mistakes from both sides and waived late payment fees. I am writing to request the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to remove this one-time negative report on my account. Thank you very much and please do not contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Consumer Complaint: I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report and found late payment on the dates below : XX/XX/2019 XX/XX/2019 XX/XX/2019 I am not sure how this happened, I believe that I had made my payments to you when I received my statements. My only thought is that my monthly statement did not get to me, or the payment was not applied as fast as expected. I checked my bank account and noticed that you deducted the money out of my checking account that on the month that you marked me late on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: GM Financial is harassing me. I have had 3 leased vehicles with GM Financial in the last 10 years. I turned in my last leased vehicle, a XXXX XXXX XXXX, in XX/XX/XXXX. It was under the mileage, no excess wear and tear, and the lease payments were made in full. That was ten ( 10 ) months ago. I did not go into a new lease and instead purchased a used vehicle. One week ago I started getting several calls a day from GM financial on my work cell phone claiming I owed {$460.00}. I have not received a bill from GM Financial. Because I turned the vehicle in 10 months ago, it was a shock to me I was getting calls from them claiming I owe them money. I didn't even know my account number to verify with them or to ask any questions about what in the world I owed {$460.00} for because I haven't had the vehicle in almost a year and I knew it was paid off in full. On XX/XX/XXXX, I finally located an old account statement which gave me my account number and I was able to call them back and get information. The woman then told me it was for a lease disposition fee that was in my contract. Why in the world they waited 10 months to charge this fee to me, is beyond me. I asked them to please re-send the bill to my house as I can't pay it because I haven't seen it. The woman assured me she would re-send ( mail ) the bill. She told me it would take 7-10 days for me to receive it and the collection calls would stop in the mean time. Today, XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX EST I received another call from them. I didn't answer because I was on another call but I did call back at XXXX and re-explained, I do not have a bill. I will not pay this bill until I see it. I asked again to have the bill re-sent to me and I asked them to stop calling me. This is harassment at this point. They are calling me several time a day. They haven't sent me a bill. After the lease was paid off and the account was closed the continued to take payments out of my account. When I called to inquire about it they were extremely rude to me and refused to tell me when I would get my money back and then hung up on me.

Consumer Complaint: Facts : * On XX/XX/XXXX, I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, from XXXX XXXX in XXXX, AL. The lender was Americredit financial, which later became GM financial and who currently reports this tradeline to the three major credit Bureau 's. * TERMS : As reported by GM financial to the credit bureau 's ; my terms continue to be reported in error. My XXXX credit report dated : XX/XX/XXXX at ( enclosure 1 ) reports my terms as 75 months. However, my contract with GM financial reflects 72 months as the terms agreed upon on XX/XX/XXXX at ( enclosure 2 ). This is one of several unmistakable errors in reporting. * DATE CLOSED : XXXX reports the date closed on my account as : XX/XX/XXXX. This date is also egregiously in error as the date of last payment as per my bank statement dated XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$1400.00}. see ( enclosure 3 ). * PAY STATUS : Maximum Delinquency of 60 days in XX/XX/XXXX is inherently not correct ; as the account was paid-in-full on XX/XX/XXXX as per my bank statement at ( enclosure 3 ). * LAST PAYMENT MADE : As per my XXXX credit report at ( enclosure 1 ) is further in error as my bank statement at ( enclosure 3 ) shows the last payment on XX/XX/XXXX. * FINALLY, This account has been unmistakablly reported egregiously since XXXX. ACTIONS TAKEN : ** Contacted GM financial 0n XX/XX/XXXX by phone. service representative informed me she would remove this account from my credit reports. To no avil, she has never responded. ** Again, on XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with another representative from GM financial and she informed me she could not help me due to the age of the account. She further told me the last date of reporting on my account was XX/XX/XXXX. Here again, my credit report at ( enclosure 1 ) reports the last date updated as XX/XX/XXXX ; while, GM records do not reflect its reporting to the credit reporting agencies. ** Next, on XX/XX/XXXX, I disputed this account with all three major credit bureau 's as you can see at ( enclosure 4 ) with no relief forthcoming. ** On XX/XX/XXXX, I mustered up enough energy to attempt to contact GM financial by phone. This time I spoke to a young lady by the name of " XXXX. '' She further informed me " I needed to submit another dispute through the credit bureau 's and I needed to write a letter. '' Little did she know, I had went that route already. ** Today, I made one final attempt to speak with someone at GM financial as to their reporting on my credit reports. I endured being passed around GM 's credit department by the initial representative to four ( 4 ) other representatives : XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. Finally, I called GM 's Corporate offices to speak to someone in the legal department ; once again the passing the buck began ; I became frustrated with their phone game and I resolved to end the call. ** FINALLY : This tradeline which I bring a complaint is in its seventh year of age and throughout has been erounously reported by GM financial or the XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ; or maybe all four. This reporting has damaged my credit worthiness to the extent my family and I have had to endure hardship and discourse within our household. We are still not able to apply for credit without paying interest in the ranges of 30 %, which keeps us at bay to even dreaming of having our own home.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I returned my lease to GM Financial Leasing. On XX/XX/2019 I received the first bill for excess wear and tear of {$1700.00}. I immediately contacted XXXX XXXX, I purchased a policy with them for excess wear and tear a the beginning of the lease. XXXX requested a lot of documentation that GM did not provide me with and when I would request documents they would transfer me back and forward from representative to representative. Finally when I was able to get a hold of someone that could help they would tell me that it would take 15-30 days for me to get the documents. I explained many times that I was working with XXXX to get the bill payed and they needed the information. On XX/XX/XXXX I called GM to request information that I had previously requested that I never received, the representative told me she would put my account on hold while all the information was being gathered. My understanding is that if my account on hold is that they wouldn't report it as a late payment knowing that GM is making it extremely difficult to close the process because they were not proving all the information I needed to submit to the insurance. GM Financial lease NEVER sent me other bills other than the one I received in XX/XX/XXXX nor did they send any correspondence saying the payment was late and action was going to be taken. GM reported this as a late payment to my credit score. After many phone calls to GM and basically begging them to provide the information the claim was payed by XXXX in XX/XX/2019. GM financial records the phone conversations, they can go back and see how difficult they made this process and their customer service representatives lack of care

Consumer Complaint: I have always paid my account on time every month thru the website that the company provided and i receive notice that they receive the payment. However, one month they notified me 30 days later that they never received the payment. I quickly paid it as soon as I was notified and I tried disputing it with the company and talking to them about removing the late pays as a courtesy after explaining the situation because I had paid it and it was their websites problem and not my mistake but they refused to remove it even though they acknowledged that it may have happened since they have intermittent problems with their website. Please help as this is affecting my ability to get the best rates on a home loan and this was not my mistake.

Consumer Complaint: GM is stating that i am ( 60 ) days late, but the payments were made on time for the wrong amount due to miscommunication. It was off by ( {$100.00} ). Ive been a customer at GM finacial for 5+ years. I always enroll in automatic with drawl for the whole term of the lease, for some reason in XXXX of this year it expired. Usually its supposed to last for the whole lease term. So GM gave me a call to tell me that it had expired and i had to set it up online all over again. Due to the fact that i dont receive statements I enrolled in paperless mail for the past 5+ years, the payment automatically with drawls every month. When i set it up online, I put the amount of ( {$1300.00} ) I recall speaking to someone at GM and they gave me that amount. I dont receive statements, so i dont know how they would think i came up with that number on my own.The ( {$1300.00} ) is the amount before taxes. The correct payment thats been coming out of my account for the past 5 years is ( {$1400.00} ). I've been a loyal costumer and I have leased 3 vehicles from GM and my payments are always on time, and i always pay the correct amount. The payments were made ( XXXX, and XXXX ) their system kicked out the XXXX payment because it was ( {$100.00} ) off. If someone were to have given me a phone call to tell me that my payments were off, I would have gladly fixed them. I dont feel that this should be on my credit reort due to an error of {$100.00}. This has gotten me very upset, disappointed, and frustrated I really need someone to help me witht this situation, because I have been such a great costumer with them over the years.
