I need this resolve, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, these disputed items may not appear on my credit report if they can not be supported by any evidence ( 1 ) In general No person ( company ) shall sell, transfer for consideration, or place for collection a debt that such person has been notified under section 1681c-2 of t his title has resulted from identity theft. ( 2 ) Applicability The prohibitions of this subsection shall apply to all persons collecting a debt described in paragraph ( 1 ) after the date of a notification under paragraph ( 1 ). Consumer Complaint: I took a car loan from Gm Financial to finance XXXX XXXX XXXX. The monthly payment for the car note is {$430.00}. Everything was going well until I sustained injury from my work on XX/XX/XXXX. I notified GM Financial that I am not going to be able to pay the car note as usual due to my injury. As a result of this injury, I experienced a financial hardship. On some occasion, I opted out to pay interest only on the car loan. In XXXX XXXX, one of the car payment was returned by my bank. When I asked the bank why my check was dishonored, the bank explained what had happened, but, instructed me to resubmit another check in the same amount. That payment cleared the bank on XX/XX/XXXX. Subsequently, on XX/XX/XXXX, at around XXXX a.m.- XXXX a.m XXXX the car disappeared from my driveway. Early in the morning at around XXXX a.m, I called GM Financial to report of the missing car. The Customer Service Representative - named : XXXX ( XXXX ) informed that they are the one who repossessed the car because of non payment. XXXX told that in order to get the car back, I must pay XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX, which is = {$1300.00}. As a result, on XXXX XXXX, I decided to pay all the money owed through XX/XX/XXXX = {$1700.00} including the XXXX XXXX transfer fees. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called GM Financial and spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and pleaded with her to release my car. She said, that was not possible unless I pay a repossession fees of {$590.00}. In addition to that, she also demanded {$250.00} fees because the car is at the auction lot. All these happened amid harassing telephone calls and verbal insult on me. My response to XXXX was that she need to reconsider my financial situation and release the car to me so that I can have a means to go to work. She was adamant, and told me that they car is already on auction.

Consumer Complaint: I went in to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX Georgia to buyout my leased car in XXXX. It seemed to be like a smooth process until a month later when I realized my tags had still not been sent to my address. No one at the dealership told me I needed to go to the tag office to request tags not did they provide any other information as to what else was needed for me to do. I went to request a tag extension since my tags were due to expire XX/XX/XXXX and it was XX/XX/XXXX at this point. At the tag office they informed me that I was not even in the system! The dealership had not processed ANY of my paperwork. Not only this, but they hadnt done the inspection, oil change, or emissions test that was required for every purchased car so I had to run around for a week trying to figure out how to get these items done. Still nothing from the dealership. I called several times and everyone said theyre were going to figure out how to process the paperwork but they didnt even realize the emissions hadnt been done until the XXXX of XXXX, 2 days after my tags expired. So I needed to get the emissions done and file the paperwork myself and 10 days after my tags were expired I was finally able to get tags. Now its a few months later and I get a call from GM financial about an overdue balance on the leased card, which the dealership was supposed to pay! So I have a huge reduction from my credit score because of a balance I was never supposed to pay. The dealership has been the most difficult to deal with, the management has no idea what they are doing, they are super unprofessional in how they have handled the situation and with their customer service. They stopped taking my calls at one point, werent getting back to my voicemails, and when I spoke to the management in charge they gave me such an attitude as if this whole thing was my fault. Yes, they did repay me for the emissions test and the inspection and tags I had to pay for, but for the inconvenience and stress I should have been given more. I am appalled at the situation and I can not believe how unprofessional they have been and how stressful buying out my lease has been. They have serval times said they would do something and it never happened until I harassed them to do so or had to just do it myself. I had to get another dealership to even send in my emissions test so I could get my tags, so this is just disheartening and sad. I need this taken off my credit ASAP and I want nothing else to do with this dealership. I hope all XXXX dealerships arent like this because this is ridiculous.

Consumer Complaint: I received an end of lease bill from GM for the amount of {$3600.00}. I knew that I had went over in mileage and I agree to that charge of {$1300.00}. I also agree to the disposition fee of {$390.00}. The remainder of {$1900.00} is wear and excess is completely false. I have never in other leases ( 3 total ) ever had a fee like this. I brought my XXXX truck to two different XXXX dealers ( XXXX XXXX & XXXX XXXX ) for review and end of lease look over, both agreed my truck was in excellent condition. NEVER, was I told an appraiser from GM will look at it, that's why I brought it to two dealers. I was getting it appraised, valued right???? When they left to look at my truck I was 100 % sure they were assessing my vehicle. When they returned, I was told the vehicle was in excellent condition. I called immediately after getting this ( bill ) to try and come to a conclusion so we could both move on. GM also put this on my credit report and it is now reporting late. This as of today dropped my credit score significantly. I am in total shock. This isn't even late as they were suppose to get back to me. The date on the invoice is XX/XX/XXXX19. Today is XX/XX/XXXX19, not even 20 days? I have called and called to get this matter resolved, but they never call me back. My call history goes like this : XX/XX/XXXX19-Called to dispute excessive wear, said they would call me back. XX/XX/XXXX19 ( spoke to XXXX XXXX She had no new info for me yet, will resubmit my dispute. She also told me my truck was inspected 1 full week after I had dropped it off ( I included my drop off receipt ). XX/XX/XXXX19-Called ( spoke to XXXX ) She said no answer yet to my dispute of wear charges, she will look into it and call me back by Friday XX/XX/XXXX19. XX/XX/XXXX19 ( spoke with XXXX ) She said no new updates in my file, she will send email to XXXX and promised to get back to me by the end of the day. Called again on XX/XX/XXXX19 ( spoke with XXXX ) I said today this is due and I am waiting for the mileage to be corrected so I can pay them that. I emailed her the correct paperwork of starting mileage of XXXX. They have a different number of XXXX. I asked if the dispute on wear and tear has been looked at. Still nothing. I asked for a manager and then got on the line with XXXX ( XXXX ) this was a number she gave me. She stated that while they recalculate the mileage they can give me a payment plan. She promised to get back to me. I told her that a loan was now on my credit bureau with them. I stated that this isn't a loan but rather a bill from GM. She assured me this isn't something that will hurt my score. As of today XX/XX/XXXX19, my credit score dropped 43 points. It now shows late on XXXX XXXX. My credit history is flawless til today. I am in need of help. I also found out that someone at the XXXX dealer that works in the auto body department also was just hit with an excessive wear and tear on his lease return. If this is happening to people who actually work for GM, this may just be a huge issue. Imagine the money they make by XXXX you into damages, and ruining your credit ( you can't dispute these, even as my truck sat on a dealer lot for 7 days ). You can't dispute them because GM owns the appraisal company too. I asked for the appraiser info only to find out they won't give it to you. I look forward to hearing from you!!!!

Consumer Complaint: Ridiculous. Im a fastidious monitor of my credit and have always had everything in order, until about on or about XX/XX/XXXX, when I got a monitoring service notice that negative information had been posted. I see it is @ gmfinancial has said Im 30 days late for a payment. I had a GM lease and turned it back in on time the first of XXXX and had been waiting for the final bill. Well calling GM on XX/XX/2019, I was told revealed that it was this final bill that was recorded as over 30 days delinquent. I told them I had never received a bill and they admitted that it had not been sent yet but if I wanted to pay it over the phone I could, which I did. They then said they would correct their mistake and take the ding off the credit report. Called them again on XX/XX/2019 to see why it hasnt been corrected and was told they submitted the paperwork on XX/XX/XXXX, and once it was processed internally it would take ano ther 30-45 days to have this mistake corrected by the credit bureaus. My question is XXXX? We are looking for a new mortgage and this over 100 point reduction in my credit score will cost me thousands of dollars in mortgage costs. Do I get the mortgage and sue @ gmfinancial for the cost or are there attorneys out there that will take this sort of thing on. Oh and as a guy with XXXX I have many better things to do right now.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX there is a hard inquiry by ( gm financial ) and I only remember calling a car dealership to ask about if I would be eligible and they didnt notify me of running my credit score to check I specifically asked them if it would affect my credit if they checked and they said no and now I see there is a hard inquiry from that time I called and received no help from them to get it removed if you can please help me. XX/XX/XXXX ( XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX ) again I had called them to inquire about a car and they asked for my social and didnt let me know they would run my credit report and affect my credit to see if I was approved and again no help after calling them and asking them to remove the inquiry I was told I should have known it would be ran as a hard inquiry but I was never told or I wouldve went in and looked for a car personally not over the phone XX/XX/XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) was a accidental inquiry online when looking for a phone plan and I called customer service and they said they didnt have access to remove it off my credit so I would like it removed XX/XX/XXXX, ( XXXX XXXX card ) I had inquired about this card but their page said it wouldnt affect my credit score to see if I was pre qualified and now I see it as a hard inquiry I called them and they told me they couldnt help me and there was nothing they could do about it

Consumer Complaint: My husband and I have been trying to refinance our loan that is currently with GM Financial since XX/XX/2019 due to the extremely high interest rate. On XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX again, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX we have requested payoff to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Each time, after being on hold for 5-10 minutes, the associates indicate that the payoff would be sent within 2 - 24 hours. We have requested the payoff be faxed to XXXX. On Friday, page 1 of a fax from GM came through ; however, no payoff on our loan. To-date, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has not received the payoff. This is likely a ploy to retain more simple interest at 6.9 %!! This is an abusive practice!

Consumer Complaint: My son sold me his car on XX/XX/XXXX. His loan on the car was through GM Financial. I got a new loan on the car through my personal credit union. In Michigan, I need a clear title without the lean on the title to register the car in my name. Today XX/XX/XXXX, we have still not recieved the clear title. The check was cleared XX/XX/XXXX. I dont understand why I cant have the proper documentation I need to register my new car. I have been staring at it in my driveway for almost a month unable to drive it because it can't be registered to me until I get this paper clearing the lean on the car. GM financial wont send me or my son any documentation for me to get this car able.to register to me until XX/XX/XXXX. Then they told me I needed to wait up to 15 days for it to come by mail. This is absolutley ridiculous. How we he have been able to send this to anyone? The service with GM Financial has been horrible. I have been hung up on several times just trying to find a way to be able to drive this car and have my freedom of driving.
