Consumer Complaint: RE GMAC Financial Leasion XX/XX/XXXX Turned in my lease to the dealership XX/XX/XXXX called to check on status of my bill. Told me it may be up to 90 days. XX/XX/XXXX called again to check on status as was showing up as unpaid debt on my credit reports. They told me this was impossible since the bill was not completed. XX/XX/XXXX After failing to acquire a loan b/c of " overdue '' charges, to my GMAC Financial, I spoke with " XXXX '' and then " XXXX '' who noted " there was trouble with the system '' and they would expunge the negative report from my credit ( did happen ) ; send me a copy of the correspondence ( failed to do this ) and refused to have someone reach out to me RE what went wrong and how they would correct this in the future. XX/XX/XXXX. Seeing again, that money was owed to GMAC financial on my credit report, I spoke to " XXXX '' and then " XXXX '' who was unsure why a bill had not been sent ( after again confirming my correct address ). Again, they essentially refused to have someone reach out to me. This has taken hours of my time to resolve and created financial stresses.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I leased a car from GM financial the amount for each month was supposed to be {$330.00} and when I received my first billing statement it said the amount that was due {$310.00} and including The payment coupon at the bottom of the statement it said {$310.00} when I logged in and setup the auto payment it showed for {$310.00} thats the only option I had so I set it up and thought that they made a mistake the first time and the current amount was XXXX and I didnt think anything of it I pay all my bill with autopay so I just forgot about it and a few months later I see a late payment on my credit report they never tried to contact by phone or mail they said they emailed me but I never got it So I called them to try to fix the problem and they told me that was a mistake that the bill was sent for that amount it was their mistake so I paid the pasted do balance and brought it up to date and they said they will remove that late payment inquiry off of my credit report and which they never did! And also when I leased t my car from them I returned a car and they were supposed to waive the disposition fee because I was leasing from them again they didnt do that either and reported a late payment fee again on my report and I returned the car the same day as I received the new one after going back and forth with them they did waive the disposition fee but still have a late payment on my credit report so I have 2 late inquiries from them on my report and I never had a late payment before I always pay everything on time and I keep calling them to remove it but nothing is getting resolved. And Im trying to purchase a home this has effected my credit big time that Im having a hard time getting approved please help me resolve this issue

Consumer Complaint: The GM finance said that my last payment was made on XX/XX/2019. So they stated that I have not made a payment in 3 months. I have automatic deduction from my checking account. Ive paid automatically online for the last 3 years, why would it not take auto deduct the last 3 months before the lease ends. This is there online website error. Not my fault. I did not know I was not paying the car payments. No email was sent to me. Or no letter of late payment was mailed to me. I recieved phone calls but it sounded like scammers calling. They did not sound professional. So my car was repoed and I had to pay {$600.00} for the car to get it back in my care. Plus the 3 months of not paying the car loan, which I didnt know was not collected. My excellent credit is now ruined from this error on their website.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I was happy because my loan with Gm financial was coming to an end. I contacted company asking for balance. When I check website it says. No payments are due. But a balance of XXXX was still open. Based on my payment records I have make all payments. I contacted company again asking for explanation on the balance. The company ignored my emails and never responded. I kept contacting and nothing. Finally the company decided to pick up my car, I had to pay XXXX usd to get the car back which I did the same day and they reported to credit bearau. Based on the fair credit act I am entitled to an explanation of the amount owe which Americredit / GM financial ignored. Now I am still marked negative on the credit reports all because they did not want to explain the amount owe. As today I still do not know why I had to pay XXXX more after paying my loan for 6 years.

Consumer Complaint: I paid my lease off and was told that I would receive an invoice for going over on mileage or any repairs. Once I received that invoice, I paid it within the following week. I then noticed that the last payment was reported to my credit as a late payment. I have reached out to the many times now and they have confirmed that it was never late and that the late payment would be removed. They then would send me a letter stating that it was never late. That was XXXX and I have reached out to them multiple times to let them know that it was still there and they have done nothing. Now today, I was told that GM Financial has advised the bureaus not to accept the letter that THEY sent me stating that I have never had a late payment on the account.

Consumer Complaint: I went to XXXX XXXX looking for a car loan. On XX/XX/2018 I gave XXXX XXXX permission to run my credit report. Upon this agreement, I was informed that XXXX XXXX would be reaching out to several banks to try to get me approved but I was also told that these numerous inquiries would be bundled into one, claiming that the credit bureau would recognize it as me shopping for a car. The extra inquires include GM Financial on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. When I contacted the gentleman at XXXX XXXX he assured me they would fall off of my report. It's been over a year and these inquiries are damaging my credit score.

Consumer Complaint: I leased 3 XXXX vehicles and turned all 3 in within a 45 day period. They were in pristine shape, however over in mileage. The lease end bills came rolling in and being that I was charged an additional {$4600.00}, and less than 30 days to pay, I immediately contacted the customer service number. I discussed payment arrangements for the 3 vehicles and faithfully paid monthly and in full in less than 6 months. I discussed errors, such as wrong spelling of last name and one lease was tagged as early termination, which is incorrect. No help, just transferred calls and unkept promises. I was alerted my credit monitoring of late payments and they reported payments late when I paid ahead of schedule. I have emailed, called and faxed, filed complaints, called cooperate in regards to the credit reporting and nothing has been done. I have pages of logged conversations, supervisors names and everyone of them have promised to look into the situation and not one of them have followed through. I had 3 leased vehicles with GM Financial and NEVER missed 1 payment in 3 years, not 1. I then proceed to pay them an additional {$4600.00} and they report late payments for excess mileage. This is not right and I am asking that these unfair marks on my credit are removed.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I am writing in concern that there have been a series of complaints against Americredit ( GM Financial ) regarding the receipt of titles to cars and liens being released. I recently went to the county to try and get a copy of the title for my car. The woman at the county treasurer informed me that I was not the 1st place security interest. This car was paid off at the time of a vehicle purchase at XXXX XXXX in. XXXX, IA. That was back in XX/XX/XXXXand here in XX/XX/XXXX I can not sell the vehicle as needed. This has caused me some financial strain because I need to sell the vehicle. I called GM financial to see why the lien was not released. Two different representatives thought I was requesting a copy title from them and sent me to some website to reorder that. When I told them that there was lien they still did not understand that and still tried to direct me to get a copy title. After I slowed the rep down and really explained they still hold first place with the county she understood. Then I advised I needed a notarized copy with a wet signature showing that I own the vehicle. She said ok and tried to direct me to a the website. Where I have to pay for something that is not my error. The representative was courteous and provided a code to waive the fee.
