Consumer Complaint: I called GM financial on XX/XX/20 after seeing they put a charge off on my credit report. I called them and asked for information about the charge off. I wanted to know the amount they resold the vehicle to, and more details about the sale. I told them I wanted to know how they came up with this charge off amount. They rudely told me it was my job to update my address for this information and that they couldnt give me the details. That they can only mail me the charge off amount.

Consumer Complaint: I voluntarily surrendered my vehicle on XX/XX/2020 after being out of work since the pandemic on XX/XX/2020. I was provided misinformation on how to surrender the vehicle, then they didn't pic it up when they said they would after i volunteered to drop it off because I didn't want to be charged for it. Their rep XXXX XXXX told me I would not be charged for that they pay for it. It is attached to the fees on this letter i will update. I lodged a complaint with their corporate office I received 1 call no follow up. I am disputing all these fees especially when I am still not working and feel like I am being treated unfairly in a situation like we are currently in. I have filed numerous complaints against the company and they go unresolved. Also the letter in question says I will accrue interest until the date of the letter which I don't understand that when the vehicle has been in their possession since XX/XX/2020 but the surrender notice was signed on XX/XX/2020. I am being taken advantage of and it is not fair to me. You wrote off the account per my credit as closed charge off/ bad debt after adding a bogus late fee.

Consumer Complaint: Company has called everyday for the past week ( XX/XX/2020 - XX/XX/2020 ). They have called 4 times today XX/XX/2020. They also call in another name - Americredit. I do not have an account with them. My account is with GM Financial. I tried to submit a complaint online but it stated that I had to call. When I attempted to call they stated that they have a very high call volume and to call their remote customer service agents. They call my cell phone and my job. I want them to stop calling me at all times.

Consumer Complaint: GM Financial in XX/XX/2018 had a system wide upgrade that caused a lot of billing issue for customers. After their system came back online in XX/XX/2018 they incorrectly sent me a bill for {$38.00} instead of my normal bill for lease payment of {$580.00}. At the time I called their Customer Service and they indicated that that was an incorrect bill due to the system upgrade and to pay my normal payment due XX/XX/2018. On XX/XX/2018 I payed the full amount {$580.00} and since then they never reported to me a being late or any further issues. Now I returned the vehicles after paying in full the lease and on the Final Bill they are telling me I am past due the amount of XXXX and this amount is the exact amount if you subtract the XXXX from my normal bill in XX/XX/2018 of {$580.00}. GM Financial made a mistake and I do not owe this amount as I payed in full in XX/XX/2018 {$580.00} PLEASE CORRECT YOUR RECORDS as I do now owe the XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I recently went to purchase a new XXXX vehicle only to find that I was denied due to an error on the part of GM Financial by not accurately accounting for the last lease payments I made in the amount of {$1300.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, which was a day after I turned in the old lease and was the amount I was told I needed to payout to close the lease. As you can see from the attached, on page 1, second item down, I pulled all of XXXX 's electronic payments from my bank and I am in receipt of an electronic payment ( with confirmation code ) from my bank that shows payment of {$1300.00}. Also included on page 3 of my monthly bank statement shows payment made to GM Financial on XX/XX/XXXX in that same amount. I have requested, multiple times, that GM Financial immediately correct this error and close this account, contact all three credit bureaus and restore my standing in good faith. I also received a credit denial ( attached ) as a result of this action which has destroyed my credit in the process.

Consumer Complaint: The account was closed and charged off in XXXX. There is a charge on my credit report that suggests other wise. According to XXXX, I made no payments in XXXX ( because of the charge-off ) except for a payment in XXXX and a payment in XXXX. Then the report states, no payments until XXXX of XXXX. I am very confused as how a payment could have been made on an account which was closed several years earlier. Then a negative report in XXXX of XXXX. This is a fraudulent attempt to collect an expired debt.
