Consumer Complaint: GM Financial unfairly and improperly submitted late and/or delinquent reports to the credit agencies. I made every lease payment on time or early. I had a perfect payment record. The problem came after the lease ended. GM Financial charged me {$33.00} after the lease ( for unknown reasons ), and I never received a notice of the charge. I had signed up for paperless billing and notifications, but I did not receive any notice, either electronic or by regular mail. The first notice I received regarding the " late '' payment was from my credit monitoring service, which let me know that my credit score had changed. Meanwhile, GM Financial had been reporting me for the " late '' payment notwithstanding the lack of notice or any attempt whatsoever to contact me, a loyal leaseholder for 3 years. My credit score has now gone from XXXX to XXXX, solely due to GM Financial 's unfair reporting. I have called, messaged, and texted with GM Financial to no avail the call center is not staffed appropriately, the chat help center is incompetent, and the text message service does not respond appropriately. I have also written a letter to GM Financial.

Consumer Complaint: Gm Financial illegally took my car while I was in it. Gm Financial also charged me usury interest rates on my loan. During a look into their financial records I found that they sell their debt to pass through companies that run it around the country into various state before being sold to major banks and the sold as cdos to private investors. When the debt is in the hands of a private citizen is it not subject to usury?

Consumer Complaint: We received letters dated XX/XX/2020 from GM Financial on XX/XX/2020 indicating that our application for credit was declined. I have attached these letters. I have requested the reasons and backup documentation for this declination five times, beginning with the first letter to them on XX/XX/2020. The last request was in a formal complaint to them on XX/XX/2020. The five contacts I have made attempting to get the required information from GM Financial are outlined in the XX/XX/2020 complaint. I have attached the verbiage of this online complaint. I have also attached the postal evidence that GM Financial received my two mailed, hard-copy requests. In addition to these three contacts with GM Financial regarding this matter, I also outlined the problem in a customer service feedback form to them online and spoke with a customer service representative over the phone ( who told me he could give me no further information ). In spite of GM Financial 's requirement to provide this information under the FCRA, all five of my requests have gone unanswered.

Consumer Complaint: Back in XX/XX/2017 I finance the vehicle from GM financial and in XXXX of 2017 I was in a car accident which ended being a total loss they still continue to bill me and they knew this car was a total loss then several months after the insurance paid the vehicle off they reported I had four late payments and it didn't take my insurance that long to pay it off. In addition, I was totally unaware of they continue to bill me. Moveover, four years later GM financial continues to report on late payments though the car is paid off. I contacted and told I was totally unaware of them continuing to bill me though I did not have the vehicle and that it's hurting my credit and they said they can't do anything. This is a malicious act by GM financial the vehicle been paid of for four year now.
