Consumer Complaint: I am exercising my consumer right to dispute information on my credit report on the grounds of Metro 2 reporting standards, and Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), Sections 621 and 623 compliance. This is the second attempt in writing to dispute this information with my original request sent via USPS-certified mail on XX/XX/2023. I have highlighted the six accounts in dispute including the furnisher, bureau, field, and error. The FCRA stipulates data furnishers must report data that is accurate, consistent, and complete. Industry standards including Metro 2 are also applied to ensure consistency and accountability between consumers, furnishers, and reporting agencies. As shown, neither standard is being adhered to. There are multiple instances on each of the six ( 6 ) accounts where the data being provided is not complete, nor consistent across the three bureaus ( Equifax, XXXX, and XXXX ). In total, 14 data fields marked as required, per industry standards, are not populated. Furthermore, there are approximately 30 data fields with inconsistent or inaccurate information. It is generous to say the data being furnished is not accurate, consistent, or complete. The Maine Bureau of Consumer Credit Protection has its statutes for fair credit reporting and enforces the following actions concerning disputes : Maine law requires that the investigation be completed by the bureau within twenty-one ( 21 ) calendar days. ( Federal law is less specific, requiring that such investigations be completed within a reasonable period of time. ) If at the end of that period you are proven correct, or if the original information can not be verified, the bureau must remove the information from its records. It can not reinsert the information at a later date, unless it is first verified. After the credit bureau completes its investigation, the law requires that it notify you immediately of the results. The Consumer Data Industry Association ( CDIA ) has specific guidelines related to accuracy/integrity, consumer disputes, and reporting guidelines for specific accounts. Copies of these guidelines have been included for reference and again, are not being adhered to. In summary the information contained in the disputes sent on XX/XX/2023, XX/XX/2023, XX/XX/2023, XX/XX/2023, has not been verified, nor deleted within the given time frame defined on both state and federal levels. My request to review the information used to verify accounts has neither been granted nor acknowledged. This is a direct violation of my consumer rights. I am therefore demanding each of the six ( 6 ) disputed accounts be removed, not updated, immediately from each report at the three major reporting bureaus. Please be advised that failure to uphold your obligations as a consumer reporting agency will result in civil litigation and possible sanctions or fines from both state and federal regulators. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Subject : Persistent Inclusion of Inaccurate Information ( XXXX XXXX ) on my Credit Report. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to bring to your attention a recurring issue with my credit report, specifically with Equifax, which has not been adequately addressed despite multiple attempts on my part. I have consistently disputed the inclusion of the name " XXXX XXXX '' on my credit report, as it does not belong to me. Despite my previous disputes and the subsequent removal of this information, the same issue persists at the end of each month. I have documented proof of my past disputes, and I am concerned about the impact this situation is having on my credit score. Moreover, it appears that I can only access my credit report on Equifax when initiating a dispute. I am unable to view my report through regular login procedures, raising additional concerns about the transparency and accuracy of the information being reported. I strongly believe that this individual may have a connection with Equifax, as the issue repeats consistently. I am at a loss as to how this erroneous information is repeatedly reinserted into my credit file, despite my previous disputes and the removal of the inaccurate data. I have previously provided Equifax with copies of my Social Security information and ID, as requested during my disputes. However, this has not prevented the reoccurrence of this problem. It is evident that there is a systemic issue within Equifax 's processes that needs urgent attention. I kindly request the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau 's assistance in investigating and resolving this matter promptly. I believe that an external intervention may be necessary to rectify this persistent issue with Equifax and to safeguard the accuracy of my credit report. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to a swift resolution and appreciate your assistance in protecting consumers from such inaccuracies. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The List of accounts below has violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC 1681. I told XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax to reinvestigate these accounts : Account name : XXXX # XXXX, Account name : XXXX XXXX # XXXX, Account name : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX, However, they stated everything was complete and accurate. But how is that possible if the open date, date of last activity and much more is incorrect. According to 15 USC 1681i ( 5 ), they are supposed to modify accounts that aren't reporting correctly. 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.
