Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2021 I settled a debt owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX, who was claiming to represent Midland Funding. I have the confirmation documentation of the payments receipt. Upon negotiating and receipt of payment it was understood that XXXX XXXX XXXX, would inform their client, Midland, of the payment received and under Midland 's standard " pay for deletion agreement '' the account would be removed from my credit within 30 days. This agreement was negotiated with XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX the account remained. I contact XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX who informed me that the fault is on Midland. She told me to call Midland. I called Midland who claimed they had no information on the account and no record of payment and told me to call XXXX. I have called and emailed each company over 6 times in the past 50 days. Each company is claiming they can not speak to me about the account and that I need to call the other company. XXXX XXXX has stated that she will " Reach out to management '' however has not provided any follow up correspondence. As it stands now : - It appears that XXXX XXXX simply pocketed my payment and is refusing to tell their client Midland. -Midland as a result is refusing to mark the account as paid and remove from the credit bureaus. These actions are preventing me from obtaining a home.

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit Management is reporting inaccurate, false, and misleading information on a collection account on my XXXX credit report. A collection agency should not be reporting a collection account 120 days late as the current status. I did not open an account with the collection agency, they purchased the bad debt. Purchasing a bad debt does not make them the original creditor. Only the original creditor can report me as 30, 60, 90 or even 120 days late. Monthly status codes related to delinquencies do not apply to collection agencies. The collection agency should be limited to reporting information such as : Date the collection account was opened The original amount owed along with the current balance and whether the account has been paid or unpaid No monthly delinquencies should be reported.

Therefore, it is quite obvious that they have deliberately violated my rights in more than one way which is punishable by law.

Midland Funding LLC sent two letters attempting to collect a debt that I do not owe in the amount in the amount of {$470.00}. the letters were dated for XX/XX/2021 and XX/XX/2021 both letters State that the company has proof of verification from XXXX XXXX, the proof does not show validation. I received these letters on XX/XX/2021 I sent Midland Funding LLC a cease and desist letter on XX/XX/2021 through certified mail with a green receipt.

Consumer Complaint: Im confused and stressed and shocked when I reviewed my credit report this week and I found multiple inaccuracies on my credit report from the 3 major credit bureaus from a collection company that I never have dealt with before. I've attempted several times to ratify the issue with the original creditors and credit bureaus and they still reporting inaccurate, unverifiable information. I have disputed this item with the credit reporting agency and they reported you confirmed the account as valid. I honestly do not believe to ever have any relationship with this collection agency or original creditor. Also there are several inaccuracies with this account the way it's reporting and that's a total violation of FCRA and FDCPA laws and regulations. In a good faith effort to resolve the matter amicably, I must demand proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature, as well as proof of your authority in this matter. Absent such proof, you must correct any erroneous reports of this past debt as mine. I am writing to request that you please provide the following information : 1. Please evidence your authorization under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) and 15 USC 1692 ( f ) in this alleged matter. 2. What is your authorization of law for your collection of information? 3. What is your authorization of law for your collection of this alleged debt? 4. Please evidence your authorization to do business or operate in this state. 5. Please evidence proof of the alleged debt, including the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature. 6. Please provide a complete account history, including any charges added for collection activity. You have 30 days upon receipt of this letter to provide strict proof of contract. In the event you can not provide strict proof of contract, you must cease and desist any and all collection efforts and immediately remove any derogatory information reported to the consumer reporting agencies. Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit has been reporting this Collection Debt on my XXXX Report through XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX for an amount of {$5800.00}. The XXXX XXXX is XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I was last contacted by XXXX XXXX XXXX my balance was about {$2400.00} XXXX not sure the exact amount but not more than {$2500.00} XXXX. Midland Credit is reporting that I owe {$5800.00}. This is incorrect. In my efforts to get them to accept a settlement for the amount I owed the original creditor, they continue to refuse to accept this amount. Additionally, on my FICO report, the show XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX as the Original Creditor when reporting to XXXX XXXX and XXXX ; however, they put themselves as the Original Creditor on my XXXX. Not sure why they are claiming to be the Original Creditor but that is not true, nor accurate information. THIS IS HARMING ME AND MY FAMILY BY WAY OF LOWERING MY CREDIT SCORE. Creditors are not allowed to report incorrect information ; yet, Midland has been doing it for months ' on my credit report.
