Consumer Complaint: The original creditor XXXX XXXX BANK for this collection account sent me a letter dated XX/XX/2020 stating that they are not holding me responsible for said account and will request that this tradeline be removed from the consumer reporting agencies. This said creditor instead sold it to a collection agency and now it's reporting on my credit as a collection. This has never been my account and was part of identity theft and the FTC report was sent to said creditor XX/XX/2020. I have not been able to contact XXXX XXXX Bank and Midland Credit ( THE DEBT BUYER ) was so rude I got nowhere with them. All I'm asking is this be removed from all my credit reports as this is not my account, has never been my account, and was held not responsible via original creditor. I also have said letter if a copy is needed for verification. Thank You XXXX XXXX

They currently have the debt and should have all the required information to verify the debt. As per FTC opinion letter from Attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX, you should be aware that a printout of a bill or itemized document does not constitute verification.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Midland Funding, I was sent a letter on XX/XX/2021 by the company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX about an alleged debt that I supposedly owed. On the letter it shows Midland Funding XXXX XXXX as the current creditor but I have not had any debt with your company or XXXX, who it shows as the debt collector. I requested for all written verification of the original debt and that it be sent to my address, showing what purchase ( s ) I made and the total principal amount owed on this alleged debt. I also requested a copy of the alleged final account statement from the 'original creditor ' or even from your company, as it shows you being the 'current creditor '. Documentation showing the total for these charges and the fees applied to them, the dates for each fee and the dates each were incurred is also requested. Also please provide the date this account first became past due and the date this account first went into Collections. At a minimum, I'm requesting a copy of the original signed agreement between myself and the original creditor showing proof of such exchange.

Consumer Complaint: I sent to this company a letter after calling them for about 3 hours, when you call the company they tell you that they have limited staff because of the covid. I have been working on my credit for about 4 months, I had advised the credit bureau that I had no knowledge of this company or this bill that they were collecting for. The credit bureau took it off of my credit report. Checking on XX/XX/2021, I found this company back on my with a different number and now the company has me owing 3 times as much. When I originally contacted the credit bureau 's I asked them for the original paperwork that had my signature listed on it and the status. If it was my debt I would have paid it off, but the credit bureau 's took the company or shall I said the company who bought my supposedly account. Midland Funding who bought my account had an attorney 's office collecting it for them. When looking at my credit report on the XXXX, I was fabregessed and sent to the floor. When I saw what Midland Funding and XXXX XXXX XXXX had done to me. Even today today is the XXXX of XXXX and I called and XXXX XXXX XXXX a couple of times today and still no answer trying to get in touch with these people. As I stated earlier in this I was on the floor, from such a blatant lie. I could not believe this, all they had to do was show me the original paperwork and this all could have been taken care of.

Consumer Complaint: Midland is reporting in my credit file however it is inaccurate because it was said to be late, yet all the payments are OK. I do not think that this is mine. I did my research on what to do because it is affecting my scores to badly, I asked for documents, disclosure and where did the account come from but they failed to provide me, so I came online and researched. The plaintiff is asking the same thing that I wanted and at the end of it all the plaintiff won this case. I am talking about the Texas VS Midland Funding Case. I have learned that Midland claims to have a disclosure and an agreement that there is a Consumer Agreement for all who they are collecting from. I guarantee you that there is no such thing that I have agreed upon to.

Consumer Complaint: Spoke with Midland Credit on XX/XX/2021. Attempted to explain XXXX XXXX and was verbally abused and berated during whole conversation. Told them I needed to speak to fianc to help me pay them anything and was abused further. Brought up we were being recorded by their line and reminded them that I was XXXX again and more verbal abuse. They also lied and said I had a bank account which I do not have one and havent for over 10 years. Lots of threats.
