Consumer Complaint: You were notified that the account XXXX is inaccurate and failed to correct or verify this account. Stop reporting for FDCPA non-compliance of inaccurate data furnished on my consumer report. I also submitted proof that my personal information was involved in XXXX data breach, and you still failed to investigate and provide a valid ID, copy of my ssc, or anything that would validate the alleged debt belongs to me. Lastly, my credit report will show that you are reporting inconsistent information to the credit reporting agencies such as the payment history and the date last active. The accurate reporting of this date is crucial for maintaining the integrity of my credit profile and ensuring compliance with the FDCPA. MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEM has lost all credibility with anything that they are reporting, and I will seek legal action if this account is not removed immediately. Please see the attached credit report and data breach claim id and remove the aforementioned account from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit Management mailed a debt collection statement and refused to allow me to file a complaint without disclosing XXXX and other information. I persisted and reported the account claimed by " XXXX XXXX XXXX 's XXXX '' was not an account of mine and demanded that they validate the debt and stop any action, notify the credit reporting agencies that the debt was erroneous and not to take any further debt collection action. The person who I spoke with was at a call center in XXXX and said that Midland may respond but not for up to 90 days. I then searched online and found numerous other complaints about both entities, XXXXXXXX XXXX and Midland Credit Management. These companies should be required to comply with the law, and not use erroneous debt collection as a business and as a way to gather consumer 's XXXX 's and other personal information.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I could no longer pay my XXXX XXXX credit card in California. It was from my previous marriage and was a card for our business but was in my name and after splitting with my husband he took the business and left me with nothing. I was continuously contacted from the credit card company and finally settled with them for {$300.00} which was a fraction of the over {$3000.00} card owed and in XXXX I was served a court order from a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX attorney in MN on behalf of Midland Credit Management saying I owed this debt even though it was after the 4 years legal to collect the debt in California and was now a legal resident of North Dakota so 6 years is the legal limit and even though I had previously settled with the credit management company. Today XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice of garnishment of earning dated XX/XX/XXXX saying I owed now {$4000.00}. I just spoke with the attorney and they told me the call was being recorded they received this from Midland Credit in XXXX of XXXX which I informed them was 2 years past the legal standing to attempt to collect a debt in California since that was where this case started and even if it went to ND it was still a year past their legal standings and the attorney told me this call was over and hung up on me.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with your failure to furnish the requested documents and complete the debt validation process, as stipulated in my previous correspondences via mail. Given these circumstances, I insist on the prompt removal of the account you reported from XXXX. The fact that this is just being reported to only once by the credit bureau means that this collection account is definitely unverified and unjust. Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2017 XXXX XXXX reported a delinquency to XXXX for a valid debt of {$1100.00} with the account # ending in " XXXX ''. Years later when I attempt to negotiate a settlement Midland Credit Mgt, the collection agency they turned the debt over to. Midland said that it was " two '' accounts roughly for the same amount of money and I vehemently objected! Stating that I only rec 'd service from the dental company one time and one time only. I've asked Both XXXX XXXX Midland to provide me valid proof of the 2nd account and name of the dental company here in XXXX Tx so I can go and prove this error yet they both refuse to do so! I finally got XXXX to delete both entries off my credit profile only to have Midland turn right back around and put them both on my XXXX XXXX XXXX credit reports! I mailed a certified letter to XXXX requesting proof of 2nd " bogus '' account and name of the dental company that I rec 'd service from to no avail. In the meantime Midland wants me to settle 50 % on both accounts w/o any proof or justification. I will send you all the documentation I have dealing with these two very unscrupulous companies! As they are directly stopping me from purchasing a home for my family, because I simply refuse to pay for the same account twice!!
