Someone in their office forged my signature and changed the contract amount to get the car loan from Credit Acceptance who is now reporting on my credit report. I reached out to Credit Acceptance and they sent me documents with the a new payment amount and my forged signature for the new contract. I never agreed to the new contract or signed it. The original contract was signed by me on XX/XX/2019 for {$360.00}. They changed it on XX/XX/2019 and forged my signature on the new contract with the payment amount changed to {$390.00}

Consumer Complaint: CREDIT ACCEPTANCE CORP is reporting a car repossessed and late even after the vehicle was totaled this is a violation of the FCRA. They reported the account late every month for years, but this is inaccurate the car was never repossessed it was totaled in 2020. I'll sue under the FCRA sections US Court of Appeals Ninth Circuit, No 00- 15946, NELSON vs. CHASE Manhattan for Defamation and financial injury. Because " CREDIT ACCEPTANCE CORP '' at this point is purposely reporting information to the credit bureaus inaccurately which goes against the FCRA and FDCPA.

I was then told that they were able to see the bankruptcy and receive notification. They gave me a hard time but eventually stop trying to collect on the XXXX XXXX XXXX in the XXXXXXXX XXXX. I started I wanted to retain the property and redeem it for current property value, which was {$2400.00}. I received confirmation from the United States Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of XXXX that you all were contacted via email about this bankruptcy. An email was sent to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX, which was the day I filed notifying them that I filed XXXX XXXX bankruptcy. Credit Acceptance was contacted again when I had a telephonic meeting to have a representative present on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX and no one showed up. Again, Credit Acceptance was contacted at XXXX on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of the dismissal and agreement. No one reached out to me. Then I received a letter dated for XXXX XXXX, XXXX of repossession.

I did a basically a on short pay like half the amount of XXXX I had gap insurance and it covered the other half my insurance company and theyre saying that the person that documents that the car has been paid in full its still showing on my record and its been more than seven years and I really need that taken off my credit because its affecting me getting other things in the future and Ive also talked to them that I already paid his car and hes already taken off and I no longer have the vehicle because the vehicle have mechanical issues so they claimed it as total loss and long is satisfied. Its settled already.
