And the reason was : that they said it came from a credit repair company. They just didn't want to investigate my file. That's horrible.

Consumer Complaint: THIS DEBT COLLECTOR GOT MY INFO WITHOUT MY CONSENT AND OPENED A ACCOUNT IN MY NAME. FURTHER, I CERTIFY THAT I AM PERMITTED BY FEDERAL AND STATE LAW TO FILE THIS DISPUTE. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT KNOWING AND WILLFUL MISSTATEMENTS OR OMISSIONS OF MATERIAL FACTS CONSTITUTES A FEDERAL CRIMINAL VIOLATION PUNISHABLE UNDER 18 U.S.C. 1001. ADDITIONALLY, THESE MISSTATEMENTS ARE PUNISHABLE AS PERJURY UNDER 18 U.S.C. 1621. THIS ACCOUNT FOUND WITHIN MY CREDIT REPORT ARE NOT RELATED TO ANY TRANSACTION THAT I MADE I AM A LITIGATING THAT A PERSON OR COMPANY - WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION - USED MY PERSONAL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION TO APPLY FOR GOODS, SERVICES, OR MONEY, AND, WAS SUCCESSFUL IN CREATING SOME ACCOUNTS. ALL IS BEING INVESTIGATED BY THE FTC FURTHERMORE In Accordance with The Fair Credit Reporting Act credit acceptance has violated my rights. 15 USC 1681 Section 602 States I have the rights to privacy. ( they say we cant opt out ) 15 USC 1681 Section 604A Section 2 : it also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. ( which they claim they dont need ) 15 USC 1666B : A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as a late for any purpose. The company Credit Acceptance is currently investigating a car loan that was taken out using my personal information which I have been trying to have removed from my credit report I am filing this complaint to ensure this is taken seriously and this account is thoroughly investigated.I filed a complaint and also called and spoke to a representative by the name of XXXX she advised me to mail back an identity theft affidavit, my ID, and a sheet of paper with my signature written 5 times. I sent the mail to credit acceptance with the requested information as well as a letter requesting that they provide me with proof of my original wet signatures and additional information, original documents signed on the day this alleged account was opened so I could provide as much assistance as possible in investigating how this account was opened I never received any response but my credit report said the dispute was resolved. I contacted the credit bureaus to affirm the account does not belong to me and they said unfortunately they rely on credit Acceptance to complete an investigation and they recommended that I contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. This whole account was done in a fraudulent way upon review of retail install contract attached to my previous complaint seems the dealership placed in fact that { {$7000.00} } was put down when In fact { {$8000.00} } was put down any money more issue including outrages APR rates I call SCAM. This issues with credit acceptance has been ongoing I would like this tradeline removed immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I financed a used XXXX XXXXXXXX truck. Had it for one month and the ac compressor went out, right when summer hit. I found out I was XXXX and was hit by a truck running the red light. Was in the process of getting the truck repaired and they offered no help or lead way with pausing payment until the vehicle was running again. I cant make the payments and pay a {$400.00} car note at the same time. They reproed the vehicle and then told me I would have to pay to get my belongings out the car mind you Im XXXX XXXX XXXX and had my kids clothes and things I couldnt get out. They sold the truck for way less than what they were making me pay and are now trying to force me to pay them XXXX and I didnt even have the truck for a year. I feel as though they preyed upon my vulnerability being XXXX and needing a vehicle to get back and forth to doctor appointments. I had my son early due to all the stress they caused and lost a very important job.

Pursuant to 15 USC 1681e ( b ), I am exercising my right to dispute the accuracy of the information contained in my credit report. Consumer Complaint: My husband is XXXX and on XXXX and I am XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ago XX/XX/23 we called to tell them we were having trouble this month making our payment We were told we could skip it and pay it when we could. Today we received a registered letter stating if it wasn't paid by XX/XX/23 the car would be posted for XXXX payment. We have kept up with all other payments I don't think this is a necessary action for XXXX payment We bought our car for XXXX and by the time we pay our loan off it will be XXXX. This is outrageous. Our payment {$380.00} a month which is a huge dent in our income. They don't refinance but we have to do something to get out of this loan.

I am in the market to buy a house and a credit specialist asked me, " Why I'm not making my car payments ''? My car company did not process certain payments and instead of contacting me about it, they just threw it on to my credit. Even though this is an error on their part, I was told that even if I pay the amounts that they did not process, they can not remove it from my credit.
